Device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the aforesaid retaining means is constituted by a recess (13) formed in the upper part of the plate (10) at its end opposite to the one supporting the spring (20) and intended to receive for retaining it a ledge (7) of the second element (6) in the shut position of the device.
  7. Device according to claim 6, characterized in that a ramp (11a) is formed at the aforesaid end of the plate (10) onto which the ledge (7) of the second element (6) is sliding against the force of the spring (20) until the snapping of the said ledge (7) into the said recess (13).
  8. Device according to any one of claims 2 to 7, characterized in that the recess (17) intended to receive the ledge of the aforesaid first element exhibits a height permitting the excursion of the said ledge (8) of the first element (5) during the shuttings and openings of the doors.
  9. Device according to any one of claims 2 to 8, characterized in that one of the walls (17a) defining the recess (17) intended to receive the ledge of the first element (5) is extended by forming a tip (16) opposing the withdrawal of the ledge (8) from the aforesaid first element (5) out of the said recess (17).
  10. Device according to any one of claims 6 to 9, characterized in that one of the walls (13a) defining the recess (13) intended to receive the ledge (7) of the second element (6) is extended so as to form a tip (14) performing the function of a stop for the said second element (6) during the shutting of the leaf.
  11. Device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the end of the plate (10) comprising the retaining means comprises a gripping element (11) intended to be manipulated manually or automatically for ensuring the putting in place or the withdrawal of the shutting device or the opening of the opening element.
  12. Device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the first element (5) is the body of a vehicle whereas the second element (6) is a door of the same vehicle.
  13. Device according to claim 12, characterized in that the ledge (40) of the first element (5) co-operating with the corresponding leg (25) of the spring (20) is a reinforcing metal sheet and in that the ledge (8) of this same element co-operating with the plate (10) is a ledge of a rebate of the body of the vehicle and at last in that the corresponding ledge (7) of the second element (6) is the one of a rebate (7) of the aforesaid door.
  14. Device according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that a rod (18) is welded at the bottom of the recess (17) receiving the ledge (8) of the first element (5) and is intended to stabilize the device in the working position.
