Claims (8)

  1. A board (1) with a postforming edge (16), made of a wooden material, such as chip wood, solid wood, plywood, fibers of medium density (MDF), or the like, at least one surface (3, 4) thereof being provided with a coating (2) of a relatively thin material, wherein at least one front side (21) of said board (1) is formed as a postforming edge (16),
    characterized in that
    said postforming edge (16) consists of at least two component layers (2, 6) supporting each other, namely a sheet-like flexible coating (2) and a coating carrier (6) supporting said coating (2), said carrier (6) forming part of said board (1) in the shape of a relatively thin component layer and being bent around and connected with said front side (21) together with said coating (2).
  2. The board of claim 1, characterized in that said coating carrier (6) is a wooden veneer (pared or knife-cut veneer) (17) or a plywood layer (22).
  3. The board of claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that said coating (2) of said coating carrier (6) is made of paper, thin paper, or polyvinyl chloride laminate.
