Description

The invention relates to an electric shaver according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for producing a shaving head.

A shaver of the type mentioned is known from DE-A1 36 10 736. The all-round closed shaving system consists of a shaving head frame pivotally mounted between two support arms about the pivot axis Z, to which an upper knife and a bottom plate are attached on the one hand and a lower knife arranged between the bottom plate and the upper knife, which are provided by the drive elements provided in the shaving head frame and on the bottom plate provided in the housing of the razor drive elements in an oscillating movement.

The invention has for its object to improve the shaving head system of a razor of the type mentioned.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in a razor of the type mentioned by the characterizing features of claim 1. The pivotable mounting of the upper knife frame equipped with an upper knife in a shaving head frame causes a division of the shaving system in two separable assemblies, namely in a pivotable upper knife system carried by a shaving head frame and a lower knife system which is directly assigned to the drive system located in the housing of the shaving apparatus. This separation of the upper knife system and the lower knife system results in a structural simplification and cost-effective manufacture of a shear system which can be pivoted about a pivot axis. Due to the shifting of the pivotability of the upper knife frame into the shaving head frame, the front side walls of the shaving head frame take over the function of the support arms provided according to the prior art cited at the beginning - as a result of which they are eliminated. The shaving head frame is open on the housing side and can therefore be placed directly on the housing and detachably coupled to it. As a result, the base plate required in the known shaving head system and the drive elements provided between the base plate and the bottom knife and causing the bottom knife to oscillate are eliminated.

According to a preferred embodiment, the outer surfaces of the end walls of the upper knife frame are provided running parallel to the inner surfaces of the end walls of the shaving head frame.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the geometric shape of the outer surfaces of the end walls of the upper knife frame and the inner surfaces of the end walls of the shaving head frame is formed by a partial section of a lateral surface of a cone with a cone tip lying on the pivot axis.

The upper knife frame is preferably fastened to the end walls of the shaving head frame by means of two bearing bolts so as to be pivotable about the pivot axis.

A particularly simple and inexpensive manufacture of the coupling of the upper knife frame and the shaving head frame is characterized in that the bearing bolt passing through the end wall of the upper knife frame has a holding groove and is fastened to the end wall of the shaving head frame by means of a holding plate engaging in the holding groove. According to a preferred embodiment, a recess and at least one retaining tab are provided in the outer wall of the end walls of the shaving head frame. A recess which can be inserted into the holding groove of the bearing pin is preferably provided on at least one of the long sides of the holding plate. At least one recess is expediently provided on each of the long sides of the holding plate.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a clamping force can be transmitted by means of the bearing bolts, which are fastened on the one hand to the end walls of the shaving head frame and, on the other hand, bear against the end walls of the upper knife frame.

A vibration-free or immovable coupling of the upper knife frame equipped with an upper knife to the shaving head frame is achieved according to a manufacturing process in that, by means of a device, a pressure C which reduces the distance C of the front side walls of the shaving head frame is exerted by the upper knife frame in the tensioned state of the end walls of the shaving head frame is fastened to the end walls by means of bearing bolts, and that after the pressure exerted by the device on the end walls has been withdrawn by means of the relaxation force acting on the upper knife frame via the bearing bolts the tensioned front side walls of the shaving head frame cause the upper knife frame to be immovably mounted on the bearing pin in a horizontal direction.

An equally advantageous method for producing a shaving head, consisting of a shaving head frame and an upper knife frame pivotably mounted therein and having at least one upper knife, is characterized in that by means of a device, a pressure increasing the distance D of the front side walls is exerted on the opposite end walls of the upper knife frame is that the upper knife frame in the tensioned state of the front side walls of the upper knife frame is fastened to the front side walls by means of bearing bolts and that after releasing the pressure exerted by the device on the front side walls by means of the relaxation force of the live front side walls of the upper knife frame acting on the shaving head frame via the bearing bolts in the horizontal direction immobile storage of the upper knife frame on the bearing pin is effected.

According to an embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the lower knife 10 consists of two parallel, arc-shaped knife blocks 15, 16 which are fastened together on the coupling element 11. On the side facing the drive system 12, as can be seen from FIG. 2, four walls running parallel to one another are provided on the coupling element 11, the opposite inner walls 17 and 18 forming a U-shaped recess 19 and the two outer walls 20, 21 in each case are provided with an outwardly directed web 22, 23. In the U-shaped recess 19 there is a further U-shaped recess 24 with an arcuate course which is matched to the pivoting movement of the upper knife 9 about the pivot axis Z.

Der Kegelwinkel W kann sowohl größer als auch kleiner gewählt werden.4 shows a section through the end wall 7 of the shaving head frame 6 and through the end wall 41 of the upper knife frame 42 with the upper knife 9. The outer surface 43 of the end wall 41 runs parallel to one another at a small distance A. the inner surface 44 of the end wall 7. The geometric shape of the outer surface 43 and the inner surface 44 corresponds to a partial section T of a lateral surface M of a cone K, the cone tip S of which lies on the pivot axis Z. The lines indicated by the dash and dot serve to clarify the lateral surface M of the cone K and to indicate the cone angle W, which is 8.5 ° in the embodiment shown. The cone angle W can be chosen both larger and smaller.

Die Außenfläche 43 der gegenüberliegenden Stirnseitenwand 45 des Obermesserrahmens 42 und der Innenfläche 44 der Stirnseitenwand 8 des Scherkopfrahmens weisen die gleiche Formgebung auf, wie die der Stirnseitenwände 7 und 41.4a shows a view of the lateral surface M of the cone K and of the outer surface 43 of the end wall 41, which, as can be seen from this illustration, is formed by the partial section T of the lateral surface M of the cone K. The outer surface 43 of the opposite end wall 45 of the upper knife frame 42 and the inner surface 44 of the end wall 8 of the shaving head frame have the same shape as that of the end walls 7 and 41.

Details of the connection of the upper knife frame 42 and the shaving head frame 6 which enables a pivoting movement about the pivot axis Z are shown in FIGS. 2, 5 and 5a and are described in more detail below. The end side walls 8 and 45 and 7 and 41 are coupled to one another by means of bearing bores 46, 47, 48, 49 which pass through bearing bolts 50, 51. The center axis of the bearing bolts 50, 51 lies on the pivot axis Z. FIGS. 5 and 5a show, for example, the coupling of the end wall 41 to the end wall 7 by means of the bearing bolt 51. In the outer wall 52 of the end wall 7 there is a rectangular recess 53 with two at the Longitudinally formed retaining tabs 54 and 55 are provided. In the recess 53 there is a holding plate 56 which has two recesses 59, 60, 61, 62 on each of the two longitudinal sides 57, 58 in order to be able to insert the holding plate 56 into the recess 53 via the holding tabs 54 and 55. In each of the two narrow sides 63, 64 there is a further recess 65, 66 provided, which is intended for engagement in a provided on the bearing pin 50, 51 retaining groove 67. The mirror-inverted arrangement of the recesses 59, 60, 61, 62 and 65, 66 enables the holding plate 56 to be inserted in the opposite direction via the holding tabs 54 and 55, and a coupling of the holding plate 56 to the holding groove 67 of the bearing bolts 50, 51 either with the recess 65 or with the recess 66. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the holding plate 56 is in engagement with the holding groove 67 of the bearing bolt 51 and is held in the recess 53 by means of the holding tabs 54, 55 which overlap the holding plate 56. The shape of the recesses 65, 66 is designed such that by means of this a clamping or clip function is exerted on the bearing bolts 51 and 50. The locking of the bearing pin 51 can be released by moving the holding plate 56 in the direction of arrow P. The holding plate 56 then comes into the position shown with lines in which it can be removed from the recess. This position corresponds at the same time to the insertion position for the purpose of shifting and fastening the bearing pin 51 in the end wall 7. The end side wall 41 is pivotally mounted on the bearing pin 51 by means of the bearing bore 49 about its central axis, which also forms the pivot axis Z. The bearing head 68 of the bearing pin 51 acts as a counter-bearing to the fastening formed by the groove 67 and the holding plate 56, the distance B which the bearing head 68 occupies from the mounted holding plate 56 determining the distance A shown in FIG. 4, which the outer surface 43 of the end wall 41 to the inner surface 44 of the end wall 7.

The coupling of the opposite end walls 7 and 41 and 8 and 45 by means of the bearing bolts 50 and 51 and the retaining plates 56 engaging in them takes place in a device by means of which on the opposite end walls 7 and 8 of the shaving head frame 6 a pressure C reducing the pressure is exercised. After that it will be in a tense state the front side walls 7 and 8 of the shaving head frame 6, the upper knife frame 42 provided with an upper knife 9 by inserting the bearing bolts 50 and 51 into the bearing bores 46, 47 and 48, 49 and subsequent locking by means of retaining plates 56 coupled to the front side walls 7 and 8. After the pressure exerted by the device on the end walls 7 and 8 has been withdrawn, the shaving head frame 6 coupled to the upper knife frame 42 is removed from the device. In this state, the live end walls 7 and 8 of the shaving head frame 6 transmit their relaxation force to the end walls 41 and 45 of the upper knife frame 42 via the bearing heads 68, 69 of the bearing bolts 50, 51, whereby a horizontally immobile mounting of the upper knife frame 42 on the Bearing pin 50, 51 is effected. By means of this manufacturing method, all manufacturing tolerances in the area of the interaction of the front side walls 7 and 45 as well as 8 and 41 are compensated for by the compensation taking place over the structurally predetermined distance A - see FIG. 4. In addition, this manufacturing method achieves a vibration-free and pivotable mounting of the upper knife frame 42 equipped with an upper knife 9 on the bearing bolts 50, 51 attached to the shaving head frame 6 in the horizontal direction. This ensures good cutting behavior of the upper knife 9 and lower knife 10.

The effects described above and the advantages derived from them can also be achieved by a further method. This method is characterized in that, by means of a device, a pressure D increasing the distance D is exerted on the opposite end walls 41, 45 of the upper knife frame 42 and the upper knife frame 42 provided with an upper knife 9 in the tensioned state by inserting the bearing bolts 50 and 51 in the bearing bores 46, 47 and 48, 49 and subsequent locking by means of holding plates 56 is coupled to the end walls 7 and 8. After the withdrawal of the Device exerted on the end walls 41 and 45 by means of the tension force acting on the end walls 7 and 8 of the shaving head frame 6 via the bearing bolts 50 and 51 causes the front end walls 41 and 45 of the upper knife frame 42, which are under tension, to support the upper knife frame 42 immovably in the horizontal direction the bearing pin 50, 51 causes.
