Claims (5)

  1. Flan monétaire bimétallique pour la production de pièces de monnaie, de jetons et de médailles métalliques, ledit flan monétaire étant composé d'une partie annulaire extérieure (1) fabriquée en un métal autre que celui de la partie intérieure (2) qui est de section circulaire, le bord intérieur de la partie extérieure (1) du flan monétaire étant essentiellement lisse et la périphérie extérieure de la partie intérieure (2) présentant une rainure annulaire (3) qui est remplie par fluage de la matière de la partie extérieure (1) pendant la compression de la partie extérieure (1) sur la partie intérieure (2).
  2. Flan monétaire bimétallique suivant la revendication 1 , caractérisé en ce que la rainure continue (3) est située, dans la direction verticale, au milieu de la partie intérieure (2).
  3. Flan monétaire bimétallique suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la hauteur de la rainure continue (3) est de 1/4 à 1/6 de la hauteur de la partie intérieure, et en ce que les bords de la rainure sont suffisamment vifs.
  4. Flan monétaire bimétallique suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la profondeur de la rainure continue (3) est de 0,3 à 1 fois la hauteur de la rainure.
  5. Procédé de fabrication d'un flan monétaire bimétallique suivant une des revendications précédentes, pour des pièces de monnaie, des jetons et des médailles, par utilisation de deux parties (1,2) en métaux différents, la partie extérieure (1) étant annulaire et la partie intérieure (2) étant de section circulaire, la surface intérieure de la partie annulaire extérieure (1) du flan monetaire étant sensiblement lisse et la périphérie extérieure de la partie intérieure (2) comportant une rainure continue (3), le procédé comprenant l'étape de pressage de la partie extérieure autour de la partie intérieure d'une manière telle que la rainure continue (3) reçoit un fluage de matière de la partie extérieure (1), ce qui crée une jonction solide entre les dites deux parties de flan monetaire (1,2).
