Description

The invention relates to a multi-layer valve sack made of paper, plastic film or the like foldable material for in particular dusty or powdery filling material, the two ends of which are closed by a cross or similar shaped bottom, each of which is opposed in pairs and delimited by outer diagonal fold edges and a material-layer-related inner cut edge Include corner folds and bottom side envelopes which are folded inward about bottom side fold lines running in the longitudinal direction of the bottom, taking along one end of each triangular corner of the adjacent corner fold and glued to one another and to the corner folds.

In order to improve the tightness of the sack bottoms, it is known for valve sacks of the specified type to incorporate a so-called inner bolt into the still open cross bottom and to glue it all around in the form of a suitable material cut to the inside of the bottom side envelopes and the outside of the corner inserts. In this way, a shut-off of the bag interior is achieved, which prevents that in the usual filling of the valve bag with the dusty or powdery filling material on pneumatic filling systems under the during Filling process inside the sack overpressure, dust the contents of the filling material outwards or be pressed into the pockets of layers of material lying on top of one another in the sack bottom and settle there, with the further undesirable consequence that when the sack is emptied later, such environmentally polluting filling residues remain in the emptied and to be disposed of packaging . This applies in particular to the so-called triangular pockets, which form the bottom side envelopes with the triangular corners of the corner inserts due to the double-walled walls in their side areas.

The blocking of the sack interior by means of additional internal bars to be incorporated into the cross or shaped bottoms, however, is associated with increased mechanical and technical expenditure and, in particular, also with a greater material consumption, which is significant in the case of mass articles of the type in question.

US-A-1903286 beschreibt einen Ventilsack gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 in einer einlagigen Ausführung des Sackes.US-A-1903286 describes a valve sack according to the preamble of claim 1 in a single-layer version of the sack.

The invention has for its object to provide a multi-layer valve bag of the type mentioned, which has a high degree of tightness of its bag bottoms without the use of internal bolts and the like, and in particular prevents the penetration of filling parts into material pockets caused by the bottom construction .

This object is achieved according to the invention by an embodiment of the sack according to the characterizing part of claim 1.

In this embodiment, the are with the bottom side envelopes to close the bottom of the cross folded inward triangular corner of the corner inserts, which form triangular pockets with the bottom side envelopes due to the double-walled material, thanks to the adhesive application made possible by their material cut-out on the inside of the bottom side envelopes and bonding to the outside of the corner insert in their remaining area against the sack interior, so that in this remaining area, the triangular pockets are blocked against the ingress of filling material from the inside of the bag. This prevents penetration and setting of even small amounts of the filling material in the triangular pockets, as is desired for a later complete emptying of the sack from the filling material, and it is also a high degree of tightness of the bottom through the direct, continuous gluing of the inside of the Bottom side envelopes reached with the corner folds between the bottom side fold lines.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing, a single-layer material web or hose section made of paper is shown as the starting workpiece for a single-layer valve sack, in its place a multi-layer valve sack made of two or more layers of material can also take the place, as shown in FIG 3 to 6 illustrate using a three-layer embodiment. Instead of material layers consisting entirely of paper, for example, material layers comprising paper, e.g. B. with plastic and / or metal foils laminated paper as a barrier layer, or barrier layer interlayers made of metal, plastic films and the like materials can be used. Furthermore, plastic films alone are also considered as sack material. In the production of the cross or similar shaped bottoms of the valve bags shown by material gluing, the material sides or layers consisting of paper are preferably used, which allow the use of starch-based adhesives customary in paper bag production, while bag material comprising plastic films or plastic layers is used in the processing hot melt adhesives or hot melts can also be used in their place.

The flat-lying material web section 1 shown in FIG. 1 consists, for example, of a single paper layer and forms part of a coherent material web in the manufacturing process, formed in the course of their processing with overlap of their longitudinal edges 2 and 3 by means of a longitudinal seam 4 (FIG. 2) to form a tubular web, from which the individual bag tube sections 5 are separated as the starting workpiece for the valve bag to be produced and for the bottom formation at the two ends of the tube section 5 the corresponding fold lines are provided, which are shown in phantom in FIGS. 1 and 2.

Schließlich sind die zu bildenden Schlauchseitenkanten, in Fig. 1 strichpunktiert als Falzlinie angedeutet, mit 10 bezeichnet.1 and 2 is the longitudinal center line of the finished valve bag, designated by 6. The bottom side fold lines which are used to produce a cross bottom on the two sack ends and which run in the longitudinal direction of the bottom are denoted by 7, while the bottom center fold lines are denoted by 8. The diagonal fold edges of the corner folds of the respective cross base to be formed have the reference number 9. Finally, the hose side edges to be formed, indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 1 as fold lines, are designated by 10.

The material web section 1 or sack tube section 5 has a straight cut edge 11 at each of its two ends. From each cut edge 11, pairs of material cutouts 12 originate from each of the corner folds to be formed in a cross base, which are located in the finished cross base on the inner edge of a lateral triangular tip 13 each as part of the bottom side envelopes of the cross base to close it, folded inwards and glued to one another and to the corner folds. This is described in detail in connection with FIGS. 5 and 6 of the further exemplary embodiment, the FIGS. 3 and 4 of which correspond to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the first exemplary embodiment.

übereinstimmende Teile bei beiden Ausführungsbeispielen kenntlich gemacht ist.3 and 4 illustrate a material web section 1 'and a bag hose section 5', which consists of three layers of material 14, 15 and 16, z. B. of paper, of which the material web 14 forms the inner layer, the material web 15 the intermediate layer and the material web 16 forms the outer layer. The material layers 14, 15 and 16 have the in a manner known per se in the production of multi-layer sacks, for reasons of adhesive bonding, the alternating offset between them is common, both at their longitudinal edges 2 and 3 for producing the sack tube-forming longitudinal seam 4 and at their two ends defined by the separating or cutting edges 11. In the area of the material cutouts 12, however, the material layers 14, 15 and 16 are kept free from staggering with respect to one another, so that each material cutout 12 covers all the material layers 14, 15 and 16 in the same size. The material cutout 12 extends in depth, ie in the direction of the longitudinal central axis 6 of the bag hose 5 ', to the height of the separating edge 11 of the intermediate layer 15. This means that the separating edge 11 of the material layers 14, 15 and 16 originally opened in this area same height. This enables waste-free work. Otherwise, this exemplary embodiment corresponds to that explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, as is indicated by the use of the same reference symbols for identical or matching parts in both exemplary embodiments.

Fig. 5 shows an instantaneous state of manufacture of a multi-layer cross bottom valve sack with the bag hose section 5 'according to Fig. 4 as a starting workpiece, in which the two ends are each drawn to an open cross bottom 17 and 18 and in a manner typical of the manufacturing process parallel to the main part of the Hose section 15 'are laid flat. In this way, in each cross base 17, 18 corner inserts 19 and 20 opposed to one another in pairs and bottom side envelopes 21 and 22 opposed to one another in pairs were created. The corner turns 19 and 20 are each delimited by the outer diagonal fold edges 9 and the inner cut edge 11 of the material layers 14, 15 and 16. The bottom side envelopes are in turn delimited in their central region on the outside by the respective cutting edge 11 of the material layers 14, 15 and 16 and on the inside by the bottom side fold lines 7, by which they are folded inwards to close the cross bottom 17 and 18, respectively. In this case, the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22 at the ends comprise the lateral triangular tips 13, which are part of the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22 of these when folding inwards around the bottom side fold lines 7 are carried and come to rest on the corner folds 19 and 20. In the manner customary for multi-layer cross-bottom sacks, the corner folds 19 and 20 are staggered positively in the open cross-bottom 17, while they are staggered negatively in the cross bottom 18. In the same way, in the open cross bottom 17, the bottom-side cover 21 is negative and the bottom-side cover 22 is staggered, while in the open cross-bottom 18, the bottom-side cover 21 is positive and the bottom-side cover 22 is staggered.

22 frei. The material cutout 12 on each lateral triangular tip 13 runs transversely to the bottom center fold line 8 in the area between its bottom side fold line 7 and its diagonal fold edge 9 and in this way exposes an adjacent area of the inside of the associated bottom side envelope 21 or 22.

To close the cross bottoms 17 and 18, they are provided with adhesive layers 23 and 24 on the corner inserts 19 and 20 and the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22. The adhesive applications 23, identified by simple oblique hatching, are located on the outside of the corner inserts 19, 20 in the area of the triangular tips 13, which is not covered by the material cutout 12. In contrast, the adhesive layers 24 identified by cross hatching are located on the inside of the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22. In particular, the adhesive layers 24 are located on each bottom side envelope 21 and 22 in the area that is identified by the material cutouts 12 in the triangular corners 13 of the corner corners 19 and 20 is exposed.

When closing the cross bottoms 17 and 18 by folding in the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22, first of all the bottom side envelope 21 of the cross bottom 17 and the bottom side envelope 22 of the cross bottom 18, each in the open cross bottom according to 5 have the negative layer grading, the adhesive is applied to the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22 to one another and to the adhesive layers 23 and 24 Corner folds 19 and 20 in the area between the bottom side fold lines 7. In particular, the areas of the inside of the bottom side envelopes 21 and 22 exposed by the material cutouts 12 are glued in this area to the outside of the respective corner folds 19, 20. This is done here by means of the adhesive application 24 each connecting surface formed closes to the inside of the sack the cut edges of the part of the respective triangle 13 which remains free of cutouts, so that the triangular pockets formed by the triangle 13 with the respectively adjacent bottom side envelope 21, 22 and which are closed to the outside by the folded edges 7 and 9 Fill goods are not accessible.

By means of the adhesive applications 23, moreover, a dense bonding of the area of each triangular triangle 13 which is kept free from the material cutout 12 to the outside of the respective corner fold 19 or 20 is achieved. The finished cross bottom valve sack with closed cross bottoms 17 and 18 can be seen from FIG. 6, wherein here in cross bottom 18 with a dash-dot line at 25 a valve insert is illustrated, which was incorporated into the cross bottom 18 in the course of its manufacture before it was closed.

The manufacturing steps for forming a single-ply cross-bottom valve sack are based on the bag hose section 5 according to FIG. Fig. 2, analogous to the processing steps described with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6 of a multi-layer cross bottom valve bag. In both cases, the material cutouts 12 are delimited by cutting lines running at right angles to one another. This results in a triangular material flap 26 which adjoins the outer cut line which opens into the diagonal fold edge 9 and which folds outwards into the plane of the respective bottom-side envelope 21 or 22 and includes it in the inner region exposed for the gluing by the material cutout 12 is. In principle, it is also possible to make only one cut line parallel to the bottom side fold line 7 according to the cutout depth, preferably according to the layer grading dimension, and the crosswise for this purpose, the cutting line running obliquely outwards and in the direction of the sack center line 6 and allowing it to run out in the cutting edge 11 of the associated bottom-side envelope 21 or 22, as a result of which the material tabs 26 are omitted.

5'. Eine derartige Stanzform bietet sich besonders als Variante bei Kunststoffsäcken an.Furthermore, it is possible to let the material cutout 12 run out in a radius at its inner end adjoining the bottom side fold line 7 and at its outer end adjoining the outer edge of the bottom side cover 21 or 22, or to make the material cutout 12 as an arc overall, for example by Punching out with a circular or elliptical shape and halving through the respective cut edge 11 of the bag hose 5 or 5 '. Such a die is particularly suitable as a variant for plastic bags.

In the exemplary embodiment of a multi-layer sack, the material cutouts 12 are produced in the manner customary in such cases for the production of staggered cuts by means of suitable perforation knives in the manner of punched-outs, the individual sack tube sections 5 'being torn off at the end of the tube drawing machine along the perforation lines generated , or in the manufacture of a smooth or straight-cut sack, for example according to the single-layer sack hose section 5 according to FIG. 2, with appropriate cutting tools, the necessary material cutouts 12 are made following the formation of individual sack hose sections 5, for example in the floor-laying machine, or even in the flat web cut out.
