Definitions
- the invention relates to an envelope, a sleeve or a mailing bag u. Like. Of paper or the like. With a front part and a back part and with side flaps and with at least one closure flap on the front part and / or on the back part. The invention further relates to a method for producing such parts.
- the classic self-adhesive envelope is flat and has two flaps, one on the front and one on the back.
- the side flaps are located on the front part and are folded directly onto this.
- the back part is placed on the side flaps and glued to them.
- the shape and form of this usual envelope is very flat, with the result that it is also not suitable for holding larger quantities.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of making envelopes, envelopes or mailing bags in a simple manner. dlg. to be designed so that they have a much larger packaging volume than before.
- the invention provides that a bottom part is arranged between the back part and the front part and is integrally connected to both the front part and the back part and that the side flaps are longitudinally foldable side parts, which are also bottom at their bottom end Have side tabs.
- Such an envelope has e.g. as an envelope, a packaging volume that is a multiple of the usual volume.
- the bottom part is flat and forms a stand base.
- the bottom part also consists of only a single layer, which is only reinforced in the area of the side flaps by the bottom side flaps used for closing and gluing.
- the envelope can be folded when empty.
- the flat bottom or stand base also means that the envelope with other dimensions and with appropriate adaptation of the front part or back part can also be used as a cover, folder with portrait or landscape format or as a mailing bag.
- Paper or cardboard is preferably used as the material for the envelopes, envelopes or mailing bags of the type mentioned.
- the production is made from sheet-like material or from blanks, whereby the type of folding is essential.
- the front part or the back part for the special type of folding has a transverse protrusion for a folding back part, which is directly next to and parallel is arranged to the bottom part.
- the bottom side tabs are outwardly folded after the side flaps fold about 9o o in a position parallel to the bottom part and then folded inwardly, whereupon the bottom portion is folded back, the bottom-side flaps and the remindfaltteil come to lie on the bottom part. In this position, the parts are also connected to each other with the help of adhesive.
- the folding process consists of just a few individual steps and can be mastered safely by machine. It leads to a product that has a flat, single-layer stand.
- the side flaps 6 and 7 each have a foldable bottom side flap 18, 19 at their bottom end 16, 17.
- the bottom side flaps 18 and 19 protrude beyond the side flap outer parts 1o and are flush with them the bottom part 5. Furthermore, the side flap longitudinal projections 15 extend into the bottom side flaps 18 and 19.
- Cross protrusions 20 and 21 form the base part 5 between the front part 3 and the back part 4 and a transverse protrusion 22 serves to form a closure flap 23 on the front part 3.
- the transverse protrusion 2o between the front part 3 and the bottom part 5 also engages the bottom side flaps 18 and 19 or forms their folding axis.
- transverse protrusion 24 in the front part 3 extends parallel to the base part 5 and forms a fold-back part 25 in the front part 3.
- the transverse protrusion 24 also extends through the side flaps 6 and 7 and intersects the side flap longitudinal protrusions 15 at intersections 26 and 27
- End pieces 28 and 29 of the side flaps 6 and 7 located at the level of the fold-back part 25 have angular protrusions 3o, each of which intersects the intersection points 26, 27 of the side flap longitudinal protrusions 15 with the fold-back protrusion 24, symmetrically diverging from the bottom side flaps 18 , 19 extend. This makes it possible to fold the side flaps 6 and 7 in such a way that they fold into the position shown in FIG. 2 and can be connected to the base part 5 with the aid of adhesive.
- the bottom side flaps 18, 19 are cut out, which also results in the bottom part 5.
- the blank 2 according to FIG. 1 is present. In principle, however, the bottom side tabs can also be pre-punched.
- the side flap folding takes place, in which the inner folding parts 8 are placed on the front part 3, the outer folding parts 9 on the inner folding parts 8 and the side flap outer parts 10 on the outer folding parts 9. Furthermore, the bottom side flaps 18 and 19 are folded onto one another due to the side flap longitudinal protrusions 15.
- the bottom side flaps 18 and 19 are folded inwards about the transverse protrusion 2o serving as a folding axis and delimiting them, whereupon they are half on the side flap outer parts 1o and Half lie on the fold-back part 25.
- the base part 5 or the base side flaps 18, 19 are provided with adhesive 31 (a trace of adhesive).
- a Z-shaped fold-back of the fold-back part 25 takes place.
- the fold-back part 25 folds around the transverse protrusion 20 onto the base part 5, the base-side flaps 18, 19 also being folded onto the base part 5 at the same time.
- the side flap outer parts 1o serving as adhesive flaps are provided with adhesive or an adhesive track 32, whereupon according to method step L, the back part 4 is folded over the transverse protrusion 21 with the envelope 1 closed and placed on the side flap outer parts 1o. Envelope 1 is now complete.
- FIG. 4 shows the production from the roll or web 33. There are no fundamental differences here, only the production of a separating cut 34 according to method step X and thus the production of the blank 2 take place between the process steps G and H described above. Furthermore, in process step D, the back part 4, the bottom part 5 and the bottom side flaps for a blank and at the same time the closure flap 23 of an adjacent blank are cut out by side cuts 35, 36. The waste pieces 37 are sucked off by means of a device 38. All other process steps A to C, E to G and H to L agree with those of FIG. 3.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 relate to a modified envelope 1a which largely corresponds to the envelope 1 according to FIG. 2, so that the same reference numbers but with the index a are used for the same parts.
- the cut 2a differs from the cut 2 in that the side flap outer parts 1o serving as adhesive flaps are missing on the side flaps 6a and 7a and instead side flaps 39a and 4o a serving as adhesive flaps are arranged on the back part 4a.
- these side flaps 39a and 4oa lie on the inside against the outer folding parts 9a of the side flaps 6a and 7a and are connected to them with the aid of adhesive.
- a material web 33 a for the blank 2a is narrower by the dimension of the two side flaps - outer part 10 of the blank 2 according to FIG. 1, so that the laying of the side flap outer parts serving as adhesive flaps on the back part 4a leads to material savings.
- Another advantage is that the back parts can be printed without disruptive parts / flaps.
- the two longitudinal protrusions 13 of the blank 2 continue as longitudinal protrusions 13 a in the cut 2a from the front part 3a to the back part 4a and form folding axes there for the side flaps 39a and 4oa serving as adhesive tabs.
- FIG. 7 shows the various process steps in the production of an envelope 1a if a blank 2a 'is assumed.
- Method steps Aa to Ca are again the same as for envelope 1.
- the side cut for producing the bottom side flaps 18a and 19a also affects the bottom end of the side flaps 39a and 4oa and in method step Ea the side flaps 39a and 4oa are also flipped over. All other method steps are then identical or identical to method steps A to L in the first exemplary embodiment.
- FIG. 8 shows the process steps Aa 'to La' for the production of an envelope 1a when working from a material web 33a.
- the individual steps essentially correspond to those of process steps A to L according to FIG. 4.
- FIG. 9 shows a blank 2b for a book packaging sleeve 51b shown in FIGS. 1o and 11.
- most of the features of the blank 2b match those of the blank 2 of the first exemplary embodiment, so that the same reference numbers are used for the same features and only the letter index b is given for the book packaging sleeve 51b.
- the same also applies to the reference numbers of the further exemplary embodiments and the letter indices used there.
- the landscape format and the multi-part closure flap are characteristic of the book packaging sleeve 51b according to FIG. 9 23 b. It consists of an outer part 52 b, a cover part 53 b and angle pieces 54 b.
- the angle pieces are closure side parts which have breaks for folding over and which are connected on the one hand to the cover part 53b and on the other hand to the parts of the side flaps 6b and 7b forming the side parts 11b and 12b.
- other forms of closure are also possible which do without the angle pieces 54b.
- Book packaging sleeves can also be produced in portrait format. However, in landscape format there are advantages for possible later use as a slide-in cover (book cover).
- the closure flap 23b is connected to the front part 3b via a predetermined breaking line 55b, that this predetermined breaking line 55b extends into the side flaps 6b and 7b and delimits the angle pieces 54b there and that the predetermined breaking line 55b in the middle
- the region of the front part 3b runs into it in an arc, so that it comprises a circular segment 56b there.
- Another predetermined breaking line 57b for a circular segment 58b is provided on the free edge 59b of the back part 4b.
- the circular segments 56b and 58b lie flush with one another in the finished book packaging sleeve 51b, as can also be seen from FIGS. 10 and 11.
- the outer part 52b of the flap 23b is only closed with a more or less large area 60b on the circular segment 58b of the back part 4b e.g. attached with adhesive.
- FIG. 12 Another exemplary embodiment in the form of an order envelope 61c having a landscape format is shown as blank 2c in FIG. 12 and in perspective in FIG. 13. It is essential in this embodiment that the side flaps 6c and 7c forming the side parts 11c and 12c are not arranged on a part of the blank 2c which later forms the front part 3c, but on the back part 4c. In terms of manufacturing technology, however, there are no differences. 12, the height h 'of the front part 3c is less than the height h' 'of the back part 4c.
- side flaps 6c and 7c are arranged on the back part 4c, and side flaps 39c, 4oc serving as adhesive flaps are located on the front part 3c and, like the side flaps 6c and 7c, have a height or length L which is equal to the height h 'of the front part 3c .
- the closure flap 23c also differs from the other exemplary embodiments and, with its free edge 62c in the closed state, extends into the lower half 63c of the front part 3c. So it is much larger than the flaps of the other embodiments.
- FIGS. 14 and 15 relate to an envelope 71d with a reinforcing part 72d in the area of the back of the envelope 73d.
- the envelope 71d largely corresponds to the envelope 1 and also to the book cover 51b or its blanks 2 and 2b.
- An important difference is that the back part 4d is very short and only serves as an adhesive flap for the reinforcing part 72d.
- the reinforcing part 72d takes the place of a long back part and is attached to the blank with the aid of adhesive. Otherwise, the process steps known from envelope 1 and in particular the characteristic folding processes are carried out.
- part 72d need not necessarily be a reinforcement part. It can also be an additional sheet so that it is possible to produce larger formats with the same machine width.
- process steps Ad, Bd and Cd the longitudinal and transverse breaks are again generated, and in process step Dd, the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d are cut out together with the bottom part 5d and the short back part 4d.
- the method step Ed relates to the side flap folding, in which only the inner folding parts 8d and the outer folding parts 9d are placed on top of one another or on the front part 3d, while the side flap outer parts 1od serving as adhesive flaps remain unfolded.
- the method steps Fd, Gd, Hd and Id are the same as in the other exemplary embodiments and relate to the folding out (Fd) of the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d, the folding back (Gd) of the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d, gluing (Hd) the bottom side flaps or the bottom part 5d and the Z-shaped folding of the front part 3d and bottom part 5d with the help of the fold-back part 25d, the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d using the adhesive on the outside with the bottom part 5d get connected.
- the reinforcing part 72d forming the spine of the envelope 71d is cut off from a material web 1ood and, according to method step Wd, is placed congruently on the blank 2d folded back according to method step Id with its front part 3d.
- the side flap outer parts 1od are provided with a glue track 1o1d according to method step Kd, whereupon the two side flap outer parts 1o d are folded onto the reinforcing part 72d according to method step Sd.
- the short back part 4d which serves as an adhesive flap, then receives an adhesive track 10d according to method step Yd and is finally folded according to method step Ld onto the reinforcing part 72d, with the envelope 71d being closed.
- the envelope 71d is thus completed.
- FIG. 17 shows the corresponding method steps Ad 'to Ld' when working from the roll or material web 33d. From method step Ad 'to method step Dd', the longitudinal and transverse pre-cuts are introduced and, furthermore, the contour is produced up to the missing cut 34d between method steps Gd 'and Hd'. Otherwise, the process steps Ed 'to Hd' are identical to those when working from the blank 2d 'according to FIG. 16. The same also applies to the process steps Id' to Ld 'which correspond to the corresponding process steps 16 when working from the blank 2d '.
- the back part 4e only serves as an adhesive flap and has a significantly lower height h than the front part 3e.
- the side flap outer parts 1oe are each back part halves 82e, which can be connected to one another by means of central adhesive 83e and to the short back part 4e by means of adhesive 84e. The back part 4e and the two back part halves 82e together form the back of the mailing bag 81e.
- the side flap outer parts 1oe serving as back part halves 82e are significantly larger than in the exemplary embodiments described first.
- the back part 4e is very short.
- the bottom part 5e only gets its final shape together with the bottom side flaps in method step De.
- a process step Ke is interposed, in which a trace of glue is applied to one half of the back part 82e for the central adhesive 83e becomes.
- process step Ee therefore, not only are the inner and outer folding parts 8e and 9e (FIG. 18) folded over and placed on top of one another, but also the back part halves 82e are closed, so that a tubular intermediate product is produced.
- a method step Ye follows, in which the short back part 4e is provided with a glue track 84e for closing or connecting to the two back part halves 82e.
- the actual closing process then takes place according to method step Le, which leads to the finished mailing bag 81e.
- 21 shows the individual method steps in an analogous or corresponding manner when working from a material web 33e.
- the separating cut 34e only takes place after a tubular intermediate product has already formed when the back part halves 82e are closed, on which the bottom side flaps 18e and 19e are pivoted outwards according to method step Fe 'and folded inwards according to method step Ge'. All other method steps are the same as in the other embodiments.
- FIG. 22 finally shows a blank 2f for an organization folder 91f with portrait format according to the perspective illustration in FIG. 23.
- the organization folder 91f is closed on the bottom and along a narrow side 92f.
- the other narrow side 93f is closed only in the lower region 94f and is otherwise open.
- the order folder 91f is also open lengthways its entire upper end 95f.
- the organization folder can have a viewing window 96f or the like in the front part 3f.
- the back part 4f on the bottom part 5f is extremely short as an adhesive flap.
- a side flap outer part 1of corresponds to that of the front part 3f.
- the other side flap outer part 10 ff serves as an adhesive flap and has a length in the direction of the longitudinal breaks 13 f to 15 f approximately corresponding to the length l of the closed, lower region 94 f on the narrow side 93 f of the folder 91f.
- the individual method steps that lead to the finished organization folder 91f are again identical or analogous to the other exemplary embodiments. So again the inner folding parts 8f are folded onto the front part 3f, the outer folding parts 9f are folded onto the inner folding parts 8f, the side flap outer part 1o ff serving as an adhesive flap is folded onto the short, outer folding part 9f and by means of adhesive with the other , the back-forming side flap outer part 1of.
- the bottom part 4f is connected to the large side flap outer part 1o f with the aid of adhesive, after the bottom side flaps 18f and 19f have previously been folded together, pivoted outwards by 9o o and finally folded inwards, as shown in 24 based on the method steps Af to Lf for a blank 2f 'is shown.
- a method step Kf is interposed between method step Df and method step Ef, in which a glue trace 97f is applied to the short side flap outer part 10 ff.
- process step Ef not only is the parts folded in the side areas, but also the order folder 91f is closed in a tube-like manner, as was also the case with mailing bag 81e in process step Ee according to FIG. 2o.

Paper or cardboard is preferably used as the material for the envelopes, envelopes or mailing bags of the type mentioned. The production is made from sheet-like material or from blanks, whereby the type of folding is essential. According to the invention, the front part or the back part for the special type of folding has a transverse protrusion for a folding back part, which is directly next to and parallel is arranged to the bottom part. During production, the bottom side tabs are outwardly folded after the side flaps fold about 9o o in a position parallel to the bottom part and then folded inwardly, whereupon the bottom portion is folded back, the bottom-side flaps and the Rückfaltteil come to lie on the bottom part. In this position, the parts are also connected to each other with the help of adhesive. The folding process consists of just a few individual steps and can be mastered safely by machine. It leads to a product that has a flat, single-layer stand.

The side flaps 6 and 7 each have a foldable
The transverse protrusion 2o between the
Another
The individual process steps in the production of an
Then, according to method step D, the bottom side flaps 18, 19 are cut out, which also results in the
According to method step E, the side flap folding takes place, in which the
Then, the bottom side flaps 18, 19 folded outwards, being folded around the fold-
According to method step G, the bottom side flaps 18 and 19 are folded inwards about the transverse protrusion 2o serving as a folding axis and delimiting them, whereupon they are half on the side flap outer parts 1o and Half lie on the fold-
Then, according to method step H, the
Then, after method step I, a Z-shaped fold-back of the fold-
Now, after method step K, the side flap outer parts 1o serving as adhesive flaps are provided with adhesive or an
While the representations in FIG. 3 relate to the working of the blank 2 ′, FIG. 4 shows the production from the roll or
The two FIGS. 5 and 6 relate to a modified
The
Alle anderen Verfahrensschritte sind dann in identischer oder analoger Weise gleich wie die Verfahrensschritte A bis L beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel.FIG. 7 shows the various process steps in the production of an
The landscape format and the multi-part closure flap are characteristic of the
It is therefore characteristic of the
The
Finally, along the
All other features, including the type of folding and manufacture, are the same for
Another exemplary embodiment in the form of an
Furthermore, side flaps 6c and 7c are arranged on the
The

The
In process steps Ad, Bd and Cd, the longitudinal and transverse breaks are again generated, and in process step Dd, the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d are cut out together with the
The method steps Fd, Gd, Hd and Id are the same as in the other exemplary embodiments and relate to the folding out (Fd) of the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d, the folding back (Gd) of the bottom side flaps 18d and 19d, gluing (Hd) the bottom side flaps or the
Then, according to method step Vd, the reinforcing
Gleiches gilt auch für die Verfahrensschritte Id' bis Ld', die mit den entsprechenden Verfahrensschritten beim Arbeiten vom Zuschnitt 2d' gemäß Fig. 16 übereinstimmen.FIG. 17 shows the corresponding method steps Ad 'to Ld' when working from the roll or
Das Rükkenteil 4e und die beiden Rückenteil-Hälften 82e bilden zusammen den Rücken der Versandtasche 81e.18 relates to a further exemplary embodiment and shows a blank 2e of a
The production of the blank 2e and the individual folding processes or the individual process steps in the production of the
According to the representations in FIG. 2o, the side flap outer parts 1oe serving as back part halves 82e are significantly larger than in the exemplary embodiments described first. The further process steps Fe to Ie are again identical as before. Then, however, a method step Ye follows, in which the
Alle weiteren Verfahrensschritte sind gleich wie bei den anderen Ausführungsformen.21 shows the individual method steps in an analogous or corresponding manner when working from a

Apart from the special dimensions of the blank 2f, the individual method steps that lead to the
Alle anderen Verfahrensschritte sind identisch gleich oder entsprechen analog den bereits zu den anderen Ausführungsbeispielen erörterten Verfahrensschritten.25 still shows the work from the roll or
