Abstract

Dose of molded detergent which keeps its consistency stable up to 40 ° C, contained, until its use, in a sleeve which surrounds and gives its shape to the molded dose, and which can be taken out by pressure from the socket in case of use. Said molded dose expediently contains a sufficient quantity of textile cleaning and care substances for washing. Detergent components that are incompatible with each other can be inserted into the socket in two or more layers separated from each other, which improves the shelf life of the product.

Description

The present invention relates to detergent tablets in pasty, dimensionally stable form, the tablets containing a sufficient amount of active ingredients for a washing process.
Portion packs for detergents or washing aids, hereinafter called detergents, offer the advantage of simple and precise dosing compared to non-portioned detergents. Known suggestions for detergent portion packs relate either to water-permeable, water-insoluble, mostly bag-shaped packaging for powdered detergents. Other embodiments relate to water-impermeable packaging materials which are either soluble in water or in which packaging for powdery or liquid detergents produced therefrom opens in water and thereby releases the contents to the washing liquor. Powdery detergents have the disadvantage that, without losing their powdery properties, they can contain only small amounts of liquid constituents, for example nonionic surfactants, which is for some applications, for example for the removal of greasy and oily soiling is a disadvantage. On the other hand, the proportion of insoluble detergent constituents, for example zeolite A used as a phosphate substitute in large quantities in detergents, is limited because of its tendency to sediment in liquid detergents. In addition, detergent constituents which are incompatible or poorly compatible with one another can interact with one another in liquid detergents, and their action can impair one another.
The object of the present invention is to avoid or reduce the described disadvantages of portion packs for powdery or liquid detergents. The present invention therefore relates to a detergent tablet, which is characterized in that it has a shape-stable consistency of up to 40 ° C. and that it is contained in a sleeve that can be pressed out to form a mold, until it is used. The sleeve thus represents the packaging for the pasty detergent shaped body, from which the detergent user can remove the amount of detergent required for a washing process by pressing out the shaped body. Paste-like detergents are subject to the slightest restrictions with regard to the selection of their ingredients, so that paste-like detergents can be largely or completely adapted to their intended use.
Although it would be conceivable to use the content of several such sleeves or only part of the contents of a particularly large sleeve for a washing process, it is advantageous to measure the size of the detergent tablet in the sleeve so that it is suitable for a washing process contains a precisely coordinated amount of detergent ingredients. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is therefore a detergent tablet which cleans a sufficient amount of textiles for a washing process and caring active ingredients and optionally auxiliary substances.
The subject matter of the present invention also makes it possible to spatially separate detergent ingredients which adversely affect one another when they come into contact with one another . to arrange the sleeve of the molded body. Such an undesirable interaction takes place, for example, between the perverbind¬ usually present in detergents and the phosphate substitute Zeolite A. A particularly 'advantageous embodiment of the present invention therefore, there is a detergent shaped body of two or more ge separates layers arranged. These can be arranged one above the other, for example, when the sleeve is being filled, but do not mix with one another because of the dimensionally stable consistency of the detergent tablet. If contact between the two layers at the interface must also be avoided, the layers to be kept separate from one another can also be separated from one another by impermeable, inert intermediate layers. These separating layers can either consist of selected detergent ingredients themselves or of thin foils which are arranged between the layers of the shaped body to be kept separate from one another. The films can be water-insoluble or preferably water-soluble. Films made of polyvinyl alcohol or water-soluble polyacrylates, for example, represent a water-soluble embodiment. In this way, it is possible for a molded article which consists of two separate layers to contain one layer of bleaching active ingredients while the other layer is free of bleaching agents. A further embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is therefore a detergent tablet which consists of two separate layers, one layer of which contains bleaching agents contains, and the other layer is free of bleaching agents. If desired, the layer free of bleaching agents can then contain detergent ingredients that can interact with the bleaching agents in undesirable interactions. For example, these are detergent builders. Another object of the present application is therefore a detergent tablet. which consists of two separate layers, one layer containing bleaching agents and the other layer containing detergent builder.
Depending on the type of composition of the detergent molding and depending on the material of the shaping sleeve, the molding can be pressed out easily or less easily by finger pressure. In cases where this is less easy or if skin contact with the detergent ingredients should be avoided, the use of a pressure plate is recommended as an aid. A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention therefore represents a detergent shaped body which is contained in the sleeve so that it can be pressed out by means of a pressure plate corresponding to the cross section of the sleeve. This pressure plate acts like a piston in a cylinder when the molded body is pressed out.
BeispieleThe object of the present invention makes it possible to meter paste-like detergents with a high content of detergent ingredients in such a way that just the amount of detergent required for a wash is added to the wash liquor. It is a particular advantage that detergent ingredients which are incompatible or poorly compatible with one another can be arranged separately from one another in the shaped detergent body in such a way that the unfavorable interaction is reliably avoided. Examples
Beide Pasten sind bis etwa 40 °C formstabil, die Zu¬ sammensetzung der beiden Pasten geht aus der folgenden Tabelle 1) hervor:The components of a pasty universal detergent were divided into two pastes A and B so that phase A u. a. the detergent builder, but no bleach, and paste B the bleach, but no detergent builder. Both pastes are dimensionally stable up to about 40 ° C, the composition of the two pastes is shown in the following table 1):
Tabelle 1Table 1
Fortsetzung Tabelle 1 Continuation of table 1
Both pastes were prepared by stirring the soap and the alkylbenzenesulfonate sodium at 70 to 75 ° C. in the nonionic surfactant and the polyethylene glycol. In the case of paste A, zeolite A dye and water were then added and the mixture was cooled to about 45 ° C. in the production of both pastes, the remaining formulation components were added at this temperature and 50 g of both pastes were filled into a cylindrical sleeve, wherein paste A was separated from paste B by inserting a film of polyvinyl alcohol. At one end, the sleeve was closed with a plastic plate which was adapted to the cross section of the sleeve and which can be used as a piston when pressing out the shaped detergent body. The detergent tablet described consists practically entirely of detergent active substances and is completely soluble in the washing liquor. The fact that paste A and paste B are arranged separately from one another in the sleeve ensures that the detergent tablet is stored for practically any length of time.
