Die richtige Lage der Schnittstelle wird hierbei durch eine Sensorik 35 erfaßt, die sich unterhalb der Schneidvorrichtung befindet und vorzugsweise auf der einen Seite aus einer Reflexlichtschranke und auf der anderen Seite aus einem lichtempfindlichen Sensor besteht. Diese Sensorik 35 steuert den jeweiligen Schrittmotor 18 bzw. 19 bzw. 20 und den hiermit synchronisierten Schrittmotor 25, der die Walzen 26 und 21 antreibt. Sobald das Endloskartenmaterial die richtige Position relativ zur Schneidvorrichtung erreicht hat, wird das Obermesser 30 durch den Elektromotor 32 angetrieben. Es erfolgt hierbei ein Abtrennen einer Wertkarte vom Endloskartenmaterial, das anschließend mit Hilfe der jeweiligen Antriebswalze 17 in eine Ausgangsstellung im Zufuhrschacht 15 zurückgezogen wird, so daß die Zusammenführungsstelle zwischen den Zufuhrschächten 15 wieder freigegeben ist. Claims (7)

  1. Device for feeding debit cards to be produced from different endless card material via a common cutting device (29, 30, 31) to a card slot (3), which extends between a card reader and a processing unit connected downstream and is connected to the feed slots (15) of the endless card materials via a junction, characterized in that the feed slots (15), led together before the cutting device, are connected to the card slot (3) via a curve piece (28) and in that, in the connection region between the curve piece and the card slot, there is arranged a driven roll (26) which acts, when using the card slot (3) for the transport of a debit card out of the card reader into the processing unit connected downstream, as a guide roll and, when feeding a card produced from endless card material to the card reader, as a drive roll.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that there is arranged in each feed slot (15) a drive roll (17) cooperating with a spring-loaded counter-roll (16) and arranged directly on the shaft of a stepping motor (18, 19, 20).
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a driven pair of rolls (21, 22) is arranged in the region of the junction of the feed slots (15).
  4. Device according to at least one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a sensor mechanism (35) is arranged before the cutting device, which mechanism consists on the one side of a reflex light barrier and on the other side of a light-sensitive sensor.
  5. Device according to at least one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the card slot (3) is provided with a dedicated card transport device.
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the card transport device consists of a transport belt (10), guided over two rollers (9, 11), and two nip rolls (13) which rest under spring force on the transport belt (10) projecting into the card slot (3) and located on the rollers (9, 11), one of the rollers (9) being driven by a stepping motor (4).
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the transport belt (10) is designed as an O-ring.
