  • This tray is sealed at the top thereof by a very thin clear film 4, made of any suitable plastic material, which is adapted to perfectly adhere, by suction of the air in the tray, to the free surface of the food product.
  • the product holding tray in particular, is introduced into a casing 5, made of a suitable cardboard material, having a top window 6, and thereon there are printed wordings 7 related to the features of the products, and to the procedure for preserving and preparing it.
  • the box-like construction of the casing in particular, will allow two or more packages to be superimposed without subjecting the packaged product to undesired compression stresses.
  • the discontinuous construction of the casing will facilitate a proper thermal exchange between the inside of the tray and the region of the freezer where the product is arranged.
