Eine ähnliche Verbindungsvorrichtung ist bei einer aus der DE-A-33 06 426 bekannten T-Verbindung von Riegel und Pfosten in Kunststoff-Fenstern vorgesehen. Bei dieser bekannten T-Verbindung sind das Metallprofilteil und das Kunststoffhohlprofilteil des Pfostens mit einer durchgehenden Querbohrung versehen, in welche ein Bolzen mit einer senkrecht zur Achse des Bolzens stehenden Gewindebohrung eingesetzt wird. In diesen Bolzen kann eine Spannschraube eingeschraubt werden, welche von außen durch den Riegel des Kunststoff-Fensters hindurch in die Gewindebohrung des Bolzens eingeschraubt wird. Der Bolzen ist mit einem Schraubschlitz versehen, damit der Bolzen entsprechend verdreht und so die Gewindebohrung im Bolzen mit der Achse der Spannschraube ausgerichtet werden kann. Der Bolzen wird durch eine die Funktion einer Gegenmutter erfüllenden Verbindungsschraube, welche von einer Seite des Pfostens aus durch dessen Kunststoffhohlprofilteil hindurch in den Bolzen eingedreht wird, in seiner Lage gesichert. Ein Kopf des Bolzens einerseits und der Kopf dieser Verbindungsschraube andererseits liegen jeweils an der Außenseite des Kunststoffhohlprofilteils des Pfostens an, was sich oft gerade bei der Montage von Scharnieren oder sonstigen Beschlagteilen bei Kunststoff-Fenstern nachteilig auswirkt. Es sind dann in diesem Bereich keine ebenen Anschlagflächen für solche Beschlagteile vorhanden. Außerdem handelt es sich um einen mehrteiligen Bolzen, welcher auch aus Herstellungsgründen für die Massenfertigung ungeeignet ist, insbesondere auch deshalb, weil im Bolzen zwei Innengewinde vorgesehen sind und weil auch eine entsprechende Verbindungsschraube als eine Art Gegenmutter vorgesehen werden muß, um den Bolzen in seiner Lage sichern zu können. Selbst wenn der Kopf des Bolzens und der Kopf der Verbindungsschraube im Kunststoffhohlprofilteil versenkbar ausgebildet würden, müßte trotzdem die durch das Kunststoffhohlprofilteil und durch das Metallprofilteil des Pfostens durchgehende Querbohrung vorgesehen werden, da die bekannte T-Verbindung erfordert, daß sich der Bolzen zur Kraftübertragung von der Spannschraube aus sowohl durch das Kunststoffhohlprofilteil als auch durch das Metallprofilteil des Pfostens erstreckt. Einerseits führt das zu einer weiteren Erschwerung der Montage, da diese Querbohrung an Ort und Stelle bei bereits eingesetztem Metallprofilteil hergestellt wird oder, wenn diese Querbohrung im Kunststoffhohlprofilteil und im Metallprofilteil bereits vorhanden ist, die beiden letzteren genau aufeinander ausgerichtet werden müssen, damit der Bolzen von außen eingeführt werden kann. Andererseits ist die bekannte T-Verbindung an einem Pfostenende nicht unabhängig von einer gleichen T-Verbindung am anderen Pfostenende herstellbar. Üblicherweise erstreckt sich nämlich das Metallprofilteil im wesentlichen durchgehend über die Länge des Pfostens und nimmt an seinem anderen Ende den Bolzen eines weiteren Verbindungselements auf. Wenn die T-Verbindung am einen Pfostenende mit bestimmter Spannkraft durch Anziehen der Spannschraube hergestellt worden ist, so wird diese Spannkraft beim Herstellen der T-Verbindung am entgegengesetzten Pfostenende teilweise wieder aufgehoben, weil sich der Bolzen auch dort durch das Kunststoffhohlprofilteil und das Metallprofilteil erstreckt und der Kraftfluß von der einen Spannschraube über das Kunststoffhohlprofilteil und das Metallprofilteil zur anderen Spannschraube geht. Bei der bekannten T-Verbindung ist es daher nicht möglich, den Pfosten an einem Ende an einem Riegel individuell und unabhängig von einer an demselben Pfosten hergestellten weiteren T-Verbindung fixieren zu können. Besonders nachteilig ist, daß die bekannte T-Verbindung überhaupt nur einenends zwischen Pfosten und Riegel hergestellt werden kann, wenn anderenends eine entsprechende T-Verbindung oder ein anderer Gegenhalter für die einenends ausgeübte Spannkraft vorhanden ist.A similar connection device is provided in a T-connection of transoms and posts in plastic windows known from DE-A-33 06 426. Der Bolzen kann also zuerst in die Querbohrung in den beiden einander gegenüberliegenden Wandungen des Metallprofilteils 7 eingeführt werden, so daß die axiale Ausrichtung des Bolzens von vorneherein gewährleistet ist. An dem zum Kopf 8 entgegengesetzten Ende ist der Bolzen 1 mit einer kegelförmigen Vertiefung 22 versehen, mit deren Hilfe der Bolzen 1 beim Einführen in das Metallprofilteil 7 zentriert werden kann. Wenn der Bolzen 1 keinen Kopf aufweist, wie z.B. der in den Fig. 5, 6 und 7 dargestellte Bolzen, sind zweckmäßig beide Stirnseiten desselben mit einer kegelförmigen Vertiefung 22 versehen, wie es in Fig. 7 gezeigt ist.     - a connecting element which has a peg (1) and a locking screw (2), wherein the peg (1) is of a length which corresponds substantially to the thickness (D) of the metal section member (7) of the mullion (3), and does not exceed the unobstructed width (W) of the plastic hollow section member (5) of the mullion (3), and is provided with a threaded bore (9) which is aligned transversely to its longitudinal axis and into which the locking screw can be screwed from the exterior through the transom (4),
    - a transverse bore which accommodates the peg (1) with an interference fit and which passes through the metal section member (7) of the mullion (3) at one end thereof, and
    - a fastening means (17) for the mutual transfer of force between the plastic hollow section member (5) and the metal section member (7) of the mullion (3).
  2. A connecting device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the metal section member (7) extends substantially continuously over the length of the mullion (3) and at its other end preferably receives a peg of another connecting element.
  3. A connecting device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the metal section member (7) is a short member which extends only in the vicinity of the connection between a transom (4) and a mullion (3).
  4. A connecting device according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the fastening means comprises one or more screws (17), in particular self-tapping, self-boring screws which extend parallel to the peg (1) through the plastic hollow section member (5) and the metal section member (7).
  5. A connecting device according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that at one end the peg (1) is provided with fine toothing (19).

  7. A connecting device according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that at its end face the peg (1) is formed with an inner or outer engagement (20) for a rotary tool.
  8. A connecting device according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that at least one end face of the peg (1) is provided with a tapered recess (22).
  9. A connecting device according to any one of Claims 1 8, characterised in that the peg (1) is provided with a head (18) as a stop flange.
