Claims (2)

  1. Press-in-lid container (1), comprising a body (2) and a lid (4, 4'), the body (2) having, at its upper end to be closed by the lid (4, 4'), a body element (6) which has a circumferential edge flange (10) and, at a distance below the circumferential edge flange (10), a bead (18) or a step (20), the lid (4, 4') having a resilient engagement lip (8), and the lid (4, 4') engaging both on the circumferential edge flange (10) and on the bead (18) or step (20) of the body element (6) for sealed closure of the press-in-lid container (1), it being possible for the lid (4, 4') to be introduced from the inside, with pretensioning, into the body (2) in such a way that the engagement lip (8) engages under the circumferential edge flange (10) and sits on the bead (18) or the step (20), and for the purpose of opening the closure thus formed between lid (4, 4') and body (2) a leverage gap remains free for the engagement of a lever, by means of which the lid (4, 4') can be levered up, and the said distance between the circumferential edge flange (10) and the bead (18) or the step (20) corresponding essentially to the height of the engagement lip (8), characterized in that the circumferential edge flange (10) is rolled inwards into the body (2), the bead (18) is punched inwards or the step (20) is directed into the interior of the body (2), the engagement lip (8) is rolled upwards and forms the outer circumferential edge of the lid (4, 4'), and in that the leverage gap is formed between the circumferential edge flange (10) and a concave protrusion in the lid surface (4, 4'), so that the circumferential edge flange (10) can be pressed outwards and the engagement lip (8) can be drawn inwards.
