Gemäss den Fig. 1 bis 8 weist die erste Ausführungsform der faltbaren Flasche einen im wesentlichen rechteckförmigen Querschnitt mit leicht auswärts gewölbten Schmalseiten auf. Der Flaschenkörper 1 umfasst eine Mantelfläche 2, die sich zwischen einer Bodenfläche 3 und einer oberen Kopffläche 4 mit einem an dieser angeordneten Ausgussteil 5 erstreckt. Die Bodenfläche 3 ist in ihrer Mittelzone ganz leicht ins Flascheninnere gewölbt, ohne dass dadurch das Volumen der Flasche wesentlich verkleinert würde. Die Stellfläche, welche bei stehender Flasche auf einer Unterlage abgestütz ist, wird vom Randbereich der Bodenfläche gebildet. Der Ausgussteil 5 ist durch einen in Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 nicht dargestellten Verschluss wie beispielsweise einen Schraubverschluss verschliessbar. Die Mantelfläche 2 weist an den beiden Schmalseiten der Flasche, in der Mitte dieser Schmalseiten und diametral einander gegenüberliegend, sickenartige Faltlinien 6 auf, die vertikal bzw. längs Mantellinien verlaufen und sich jeweils zwischen einer im Abstand von der Bodenfläche 3 horizontal umlaufenden Faltlinie 7 und einer im Abstand von der Kopffläche 4 horizontal umlaufenden Faltlinie 8 erstrecken. Die Faltlinien 7 und 8 verlaufen somit quer zu den Faltlinien 6 und kreuzen diese. Von einem unteren Kreuzungspunkt 9 und einem oberen Kreuzungspunkt 10 schliessen sich quasi in Verlängerung der Faltlinien 6 aber V-förmig sich verzweigend weitere Faltlinien 11 im unteren Flaschenabschnitt und weitere Faltlinien 12 im oberen Flaschenabschnitt an die Faltlinien 6 an.
