Abstract

The invention relates to an espagnolette lock having an espagnolette connection piece (39) displaceable by the actuation of a handle, the handle follower (5) being rotatable out of a middle basic position in two directions and respectively returning automatically into its middle basic position in a spring-loaded manner; to achieve a solution which is advantageous especially in terms of space, it is proposed that a slide (13) spring-loaded in the direction of the handle follower (5) be supported, by means of two fingers (12, 12') arranged in a fork-shaped manner relative to one another, on the drivers (11, 11') projecting on the wide side (10) of the handle follower (5). <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Treibstangenverschluß gemäß Gattungsbegriff des Anspruches 1.The invention relates to an espagnolette lock according to the preamble of claim 1.

A connecting rod lock of the type in question is known from FR 2 372 300. There, the slide, which is guided parallel to the connecting rod displacement direction, is spring-loaded in the opposite direction to the follower nut. At its end facing the follower, the slide has longitudinal slots running on both sides of the nut center axis, into which coupling pins of two chain links engage, at the ends of which cone-shaped drivers are provided which plunge into the slotted slots of the follower. Furthermore, the nut carries with it a driver disk, which in turn is in pin / slot engagement to a connecting rod connector. Below the follower nut, this forms a toothing directed towards the inside of the lock housing, into which a toothed pinion engages. This meshes with a second connecting rod connecting piece flanking the trigger nut on the other side, which is passed over a bent intermediate section above the nut. Both connecting rod connecting pieces carry the corresponding connecting rods. Because of the above-mentioned configuration it is achieved that after each actuation of the nut - in whatever direction - the spring follower is returned to its middle basic position via the spring-loaded slide and chain links.

The invention has for its object to design a generic drive rod closure in a technically simple manner so that the components are reduced to a minimum.

This object is achieved in a generic drive rod lock by the solution specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.

The subclaims relate to advantageous developments of the inventive solution.

As a result of such a design, an espagnolette lock of the type in question is specified, which is characterized in particular by a considerably simplified structure. Due to its special design and spring loading of the slide in the direction of the trigger nut, the slide itself can engage on the drivers projecting on the broad side of the nut. For this purpose the fork-like fingers are used, one finger acting on both sides of the nut center axis. Depending on the direction in which the follower nut is turned, one of the drivers comes into operation along with a displacement of the slide against spring loading. Here, the spring is charged so that when the handle is released it returns the slide and brings the follower nut to its central home position. Since this is achieved with the simplest and only a few components, the construction of the connecting rod lock in the corresponding area is particularly susceptible to faults without disadvantageous to the advantageous mode of operation. Then the nut is used without forming a multi-part to bring about the displacement of the connecting rod connecting piece. For this purpose, the nut has on its side opposite the drivers a recess which is open towards the circumference. This extends over an arc section and serves to receive the control pin of the pivot lever mounted below the nut, which is in a slot / pin connection to the connecting rod connecting piece. Take that Espagnolette connector in its unlocked position, so the recess when turning the follower in one direction allows free passage without taking the espagnolette connector. Rotation of the handle follower by means of an actuating handle in the other direction leads to a rotation of the pivoting lever in connection with a linear displacement of the connecting rod connecting piece into the locking position and the connecting rods coupled to it. After each actuation, the handle follower returns to its central home position. If the connecting rod connecting piece was previously displaced by means of the handle follower, it remains in its locking position even if the handle follower also turns back into the middle basic position. Only by moving the follower in the appropriate direction is the drive rod connector with the drive rods attached to the open position, the control pin and swivel lever and slot / pin connection. The trigger follower can be designed so that it controls a trap when it is moved in the normal trigger actuation direction. For this purpose, a latch retraction arm is provided on the lever follower opposite the recess. When the drive rods are in the open position, only the latch is withdrawn by moving the handle in the normal direction of actuation. If the drive rods have been brought into their locking position beforehand, the handle follower pulls back both the latch and the drive rod connector when the handle is operated normally. The corresponding latch retraction arm is oriented approximately tangentially to the circumferential surface of the nut. He does not stand in the way of moving the latch when the door slams shut. In general, the slide is integrated into the overall structure of the drive rod lock in such a way that it takes up little space. A Interlocking is achieved by the fork-shaped fingers resting on the broad side of the handle nut, which are separated from the approximately semicircular recess comprising a collar of the nut. In the locking position of the connecting rod connecting piece and thus the connecting rods, it is possible to block the rotation of the nut so that the connecting rod connecting piece cannot be returned to the open position. For this purpose, the locking lever, which can be moved by the locking mechanism, is controlled by the locking mechanism so that one arm of the locking lever engages in the locking recess of the nut. To control the locking lever is used its actuation end. This engages with the recess of a locking cylinder-controlled bolt. If the latter is shifted in the direction of its locking position, this simultaneously leads to a pivoting of the locking lever into the blocking position. The bolt takes on a further function in that it locks the connecting rod connecting piece in the closed position. Then the connecting rod connector is blocked in both directions of movement. Returning the connecting rod connecting piece to the open position therefore always requires the bolt to be closed. Only then can the connecting rod connector be returned to the release position by means of the handle follower when the handle is actuated in the normal opening direction with simultaneous displacement of the spring-loaded slide, which then, as already mentioned at the beginning, brings the handle follower back into the middle basic position. The corresponding return spring is designed as a compression spring and is in a hiding position in a channel of a filler used in the closure housing. This takes on a further function in that it guides the slide lying on it. So that it comes into engagement with the compression spring can, the slide is provided on a tongue with an angled end which projects into the channel receiving the compression spring. The pressure spring does not need to be tensioned to mount the slide. All that is required is to leave a space at the beginning of the channel so that the angled end can dip into the channel. Since there are no relatively strong springs to tension during assembly, this is particularly easy to carry out. The tensioning of the spring only occurs when the spring forces are required. The second tongue, which runs parallel to the first tongue, ensures particularly good guidance. In addition, this is also equipped with a guide slot for the entry of a pin of the filler.

The espagnolette lock has a lock housing 2 attached to a faceplate 1. Parts of the same are a lock base 3 attached at right angles to the faceplate 1 and a lock cover 4 running parallel to it and covering the locking devices.

Slightly offset to the transverse central plane of the lock housing, a follower 5 is mounted in the lock cover 4 and lock base 3. For this purpose, it forms a bearing collar 6 on each of its two broad sides. In the middle of the follower 5 there is a square opening 7 for inserting a lever mandrel, not shown, which produces the coupling between the follower 5 and a lever 8 shown in phantom in FIG. 1.

Das Füllstück 17 befindet sich oberhalb der Drückernuß 5 im rückwärtigen Bereich des Verschlußgehäuses 2.Connected to the bearing collar 6 entering the castle ceiling 4 is a collar 9 which is stepped and has a larger diameter than this and which merges into a broad side 10 of the nut 5 via a stepped shoulder. The broad side 10 is surmounted in the lower region by two drivers 11, 11 'arranged on both sides of the central axis passing through the nut 5'. In the exemplary embodiment, these are inserted pins. However, a material-uniform design with the follower 5 can also be selected. On the broadside 10 are two forked fingers 12, 12 'on. These are part of a slider 13 running underneath the castle ceiling 4, guided in the longitudinal direction of the closure housing 2. Both fingers 12, 12 'are separated by an approximately semicircular, the collar 9 comprising recess 14. The slide 13 is spring-loaded in the direction of the follower 5, so that the fingers 12, 12 'come into contact with the drivers 11, 11' of the follower 5. With regard to the corresponding return torsion spring, it is a compression spring 15, which is accommodated in a channel 16, which runs parallel to the faceplate 1, of a filler 17 which extends between the lock base 3 and the lock cover 4. The filler 17 is located above the follower 5 in the rear area of the closure housing 2.

At its end opposite the recess 14, the slider 13 has two tongues 18, 19 which run parallel to one another. The tongue 19 which is closer to the rear wall of the breech housing is shorter than the tongue 18 and forms a bend 20 with which the tongue enters the channel 16 of the filler piece 17 protrudes. The bend 20 underpins the lower end of the compression spring 15, the other end of which is supported on a channel transverse wall of the filler 17. The channel 16 is designed so that the lower end of the compression spring 15 is held at a short distance from the lower transverse wall of the channel 16, so that the bend 20 can be inserted into the channel without hindrance. If necessary, a corresponding length of the relatively stiff compression spring 15 could also be provided, so that the bend 20 of the slide 13 can be inserted without problems.

Mit stufenförmig abgesetzten Bereichen 23, 24 führt das Füllstück 17 die Zungen 18, 19 des Schiebers 13.At the end of the longer tongue 18 there is a guide slot 21 running in the direction of movement of the slide 13 for the entry of an elongated pin 22 of the filler piece 17. With stepped areas 23, 24, the filler piece 17 guides the tongues 18, 19 of the slide member 13.

A latch retraction arm 25 extends from the trigger nut 5 and projects tangentially to the circumferential surface of the nut 5. The end of the latch retraction arm 25 lies in the range of motion of a web 26 of the latch tail 27 'of a latch 27. A latch compression spring 28 loads the latch 27 in its forward position, in which her head, which is provided with a slanted slope, projects beyond the faceplate 1 in a known manner.

Oberhalb des Treibstangen-Anschlußstückes 39 erstreckt sich der Schwenkhebel 34.On its drivers 11, 11 'opposite broad side 29, the follower 5 has an open to the circumference, extending over an arc section recess 30, the edge edges 31, 32 of which are used to take a control pin 33 immersed in the recess 30 of a pivot lever 34. The same is mounted below the follower 5 around a stand pin 35 on the lock housing side. At its free end, the one-armed swivel lever 34 has a slot 37 which is open at the edge and into which a pin 38 of a drive rod connecting piece 39 guided in the lock housing 2 is immersed. With the ends of the connecting rod connecting piece 39, driving rods 40, 41 guided behind the faceplate 1 are coupled. The same have longitudinal slots 42 of the faceplate 1 penetrating locking pin 43. The connecting rod connecting piece 39 lies directly on the lock base 3. The pivot lever 34 extends above the connecting rod connecting piece 39.

The pivot lever 34 is partially overlapped with a locking lever 44 which can be displaced by a locking mechanism W. It bears around a bolt 45 on the housing side and is designed with two arms. One, downwardly directed, shorter arm 46 forms an actuating end and engages in a recess 47 of a bolt 49 controlled by a locking cylinder 48. The bolt 49 passes through an opening 50 of the faceplate 1 and extends above the connecting rod connecting piece 39. Furthermore, the bolt 49 is guided in the usual manner transversely to the direction of the faceplate 1 and with a locking projection 51 projecting in the direction of the lock base 3. The latter cooperates with a recess 52 of the connecting rod connecting piece 39 which is open at the edge. The other, longer arm 53 of the locking lever 44 is supported by gravity on the inner surface of the faceplate 1 and is provided with a hook 54 pointing in the direction of the follower 5. In the open position of the drive rod lock, the hook 54 extends beyond the circumferential surface of the follower 5, cf. 1 and 2. The hook 54 is opposite a blocking recess 55 of the nut which is open on the edge and which extends from the broad side 29 thereof. The locking recess 55 forms an approximately radially directed locking edge 56 for cooperation with the locking lever 44.

On the inside of the lock, a tumbler 57 is guided on the bolt 49 parallel to the direction of displacement of the connecting rod connecting piece 39. A compression spring 58 loads it in the direction of the locking cylinder 48 in such a way that a locking projection 59 provided at the upper end of the tumbler 57 lies behind a lock-end-side square pin 60 when the bolt 49 is closed. When the bolt 49 is closed, its bolt tail extends in the path of movement of a locking member 61 of the locking cylinder 48. The task of the locking member 61 is both to raise the tumbler 57 against spring action and at the same time to engage in a bolt entry opening 62 of the bolt tail in order to cause the bolt to close can.

Fig. 5 und 6.
The following effect of the espagnolette lock occurs:
1 and 2, the espagnolette lock assumes its open position. The trap 47 is in her Priority position. Because of the middle basic position, the pusher 8 assumes an approximately horizontal position. If, for example, the door equipped with such a lock is now to be opened, the handle 8 is to be pivoted in its normal actuation direction while taking the handle nut 5 with it, cf. 5 and 6. During this pivoting, the driver 11 acts on the follower 5 of the finger 12 of the slide 13 and displaces it in the upward direction against the force of the compression spring 15. The latch retraction arm 25 acts on the web 26 of the latch tail 27 'during this process and displaces the latch 27 inside the lock housing, so that the door can subsequently be opened. The recess 30 on the broad side 29 of the follower 5 is dimensioned so large that during this rotational displacement of the follower there is no entrainment of the pivot lever 34. Accordingly, the connecting rod connecting piece 39 with the connecting rods 40, 41 seated thereon remains in the open position. If the pusher 8 is released, the previously compressed compression spring 15 can relax, whereby it moves the slide 13 downward via the bend 20. The finger 12 acts on the driver 11 and brings the follower 5 into its middle basic position according to FIG. 1.

Fig. 10. Eine Drehverlagerung der Drückernuß 5 in Uhrzeigerrichtung kann demzufolge auch nicht erfolgen wegen dieser Sperrung der Drückernuß 5.Locking the drive rod lock requires an oppositely directed actuation of the follower 5 in the position shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 by means of the lever 8. Then the driver 11 'of the nut 5' against the finger 12 'and thereby displaces the slide 13 against the force of Compression spring 15. At the same time, the edge 31 of the recess 30 acts on the control pin 33 and thereby rotates the pivot lever 34 clockwise around the standing pin 35. Due to the slot / pin engagement 37, 38 to the connecting rod connector 39 this is moved longitudinally in the upward direction, taking the locking pin 43, which engages behind the counter-locking parts (not illustrated) of the door frame. If the load on the handle 8 is omitted, the charged compression spring 15 can relax by displacing the slide 13, which acts with its finger 12 'on the driver 11' of the handle follower and brings it back into its middle basic position. The recess 30 of the follower 5 is dimensioned so large that the pivot follower 34 does not entrain the pivot lever 34 during this shifting back. This also keeps the connecting rod connector 39 with the connecting rods in the locked position. In Fig. 9 is shown in dash-dotted lines that the bolt 49 can then be pre-locked, which dips with its locking projection 51 into the aligned recess 52 of the connecting rod connector 39 and captivates it immovably. During the advance of the bolt 49, the arm of the locking lever 44 is acted upon by its recess 47. The locking lever 44 pivots, the hook 54 provided on the other arm 53 entering the locking recess 55 of the follower nut 5. In this position, the hook 54 extends in front of the locking edge 56 of the locking recess 55, cf. Fig. 10. Rotation of the follower 5 in a clockwise direction can therefore not take place because of this locking of the follower 5th

During the pre-closing, the locking projection 59 of the warming-up tumbler 57 has passed over the square-bottom pin 60 on the lock bottom and then extends on the other side thereof, securing the bolt 49 against pushing back.

In order to be able to bring the connecting rod connecting piece 39 back into the release position by means of the pusher 8, the bolt 49 must first be closed by means of the locking cylinder 48 with the aid of the associated key, specifically in the position according to FIG. 11. During this closing operation, the Guard locking 57 raised. Whose locking projection 59 passes over the square bottom 60 on the lock base. At the same time, the bolt 49 is moved back, so that after corresponding repositioning thereof, the locking projection 59 arrives in front of the square pin 60. With this shifting back, the locking lever 44 pivots into the release position for the follower nut 5. The lever 8 can now be shifted clockwise in the normal lever actuation direction. Here, the driver 11 acts on the finger 12 of the slide 13 and displaces it against the force of the compression spring 15. Furthermore, the edge 32 of the recess 30 in the follower 5 acts on the control pin 33 and thereby rotates the pivot lever 34 while simultaneously displacing the connecting rod connecting piece 39 downward This shift is possible because the locking-side locking projection 51 has previously released the connecting rod connecting piece 39. After a corresponding shift of the follower 5, the connecting rod connecting piece 39 with the connecting rods 40, 41 then takes up the open position. At the same time, the latch 27 was disengaged by the latch retraction arm 25, so that a position according to FIG. 5 is present. From this, the compression spring 15 brings the follower 5 with the lever 8 back into the basic position via the slide 13.

The locking lever 44 assigned to the follower 5 could also be designed differently. For example, the locking arm on the rear side inside the Extend the breech housing. It is essential, however, that when the bolt is moved forward into its closed position, the locking lever enters an area in front of a locking edge of the handle follower and accordingly blocks its rotatability in the direction which causes displacement of the connecting rod connecting piece 39.
