Description

The invention relates to a receiving device for the end region of a roller guide rail of a door leaf, in particular one-piece overhead door leaf, in particular in the upper end region of vertically arranged roller guide rails, into which the rollers of the door leaf enter upon transition into the gate opening state, with a damping body made of flexible material, e.g. Rubber or rubber-like deformation and damping behavior is fixed in the end region of the respective running rail at least against an offset movement in the longitudinal direction of the running rail.

It is known to absorb door leaves with the aid of rubber buffers or similar spring-elastic starting elements in at least one of their end positions, in particular the open position, in such a way that, for example, the lower edge of the door leaf running into the open position runs against the buffer arranged in the upper horizontal frame area. In the case of gates with horizontal guide rails, the edge of a door leaf lying at the top in the closed position can also be dampened with a buffer device located far enough in the interior, but here with one-piece door leaves that can be moved overhead, due to the non-linear path behavior between the lower edge and the upper edge of the door leaf, it is relatively early and thus a long-range damping effect is required which, due to the energy storage that occurs only with this damping with spring-elastic elements, emits a reaction force which becomes effective after the door leaf has come to a standstill and which acts on the door leaf in the direction of movement into the closed position. With manually operated door leaves, this leads to an actually occurring return movement, which depends on the weight compensation behavior this can lead to the fact that the door leaf moves to almost half the closed position, which forces another attack by hand. Such rebounding also occurs when the lower edge of the door is caught by a spring-elastic buffer element in the upper frame area. Such buffer elements are due to the repeated repeated application of spring elastic and not permanently deformable; the damping effect lies primarily in the storage of energy, which is then returned to the door leaf, as in an energy withdrawal which is practically only due to the deformation work as a loss converted into heat. From CH-A-657 415 a receiving device for the end region of a roller guide rail of a door leaf is also known, in which a damping body made of elastic material is arranged in the end region of the rail, against which a chassis provided with rollers can abut in a damping manner.

The invention is based on the object of providing a receiving device of the type mentioned at the outset, which draws as much kinetic energy as possible from the door leaf which reaches a final position, in particular an open position, in particular a manually operated door leaf, i.e. has the least possible reaction in the sense of the opposite movement of the door leaf.

Starting from a receiving device with the features mentioned above, this object is achieved in that the damping body of the movable roller of the door leaf guided in the guide rail has a V-shaped ramp surface, the leg surfaces of which are shaped approximately tangentially to the circumference of the running roller.

The damping body provided and designed according to the invention made of resilient material, which is not necessarily plastically deformable due to the repeated repetition of stress and in this respect has spring-elastic properties, is due to its special shape in Auflaufflächebereich, namely V-shaped opening towards the roller to be picked up, effective in terms of energy drainage of the running roller and thus the door leaf not only through the deformation work, but above all also in that the roller engaging with its peripheral surface on both leg surfaces of the damping body at least one of these surfaces rubs and thus generates losses. These frictional losses also occur - and above all also under the condition that the running roller does not rotate - in any case if one takes into account that the leg regions of the damping body which provide the V-shaped running surface spread when the running roller starts up and release the role again in the course of the springback.

The V-shaped run-up surface has leg surfaces which are shaped so as to be oriented approximately tangentially to the circumference of the run-up roller. Already because of the change in shape during the run-up, this tangential alignment of the leg surfaces to the circumference of the roller is to be understood as an indication with a large deviation range.

Preferably, the damping body is held by means of a screw bolt or the like on the central web (or high web) between the running surface and the counter-holding surface of the running rail, and preferably in such a way that the damping body can be pivoted about the axis of the screw bolt. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the damping body is provided for easy pivoting about the bolt axis with a bushing which can be pivoted about the bolt, possibly with the interposition of a spacer sleeve which is effective in the longitudinal direction of the bolt. Because of this oscillatingly movable mounting of the damping body, the damping body can adapt to the running roller, which - especially in the case of vertically arranged guide rails - runs between the running surface and the counter surface in a necessary play in mutually offset positions. The oscillating suspension ensures that the roller comes to rest on both leg surfaces of the V-shaped recess of the damping body.

The receiving device should catch the roller in a sense, so that a backward movement of the door leaf is avoided. At the same time, however, clamping, which can only be overcome with greater effort in the course of the return movement, should be avoided. This "catch effect" is already achieved by the design of the damping body according to the invention, it is further supported in a further preferred embodiment of the invention in that a resilient, flexible threshold projection is arranged in the path of movement of the roller in the running rail in the vicinity of the damping body, which distance between the running surface running approximately perpendicular to the central web of the running rail and the counter-running surface running approximately perpendicular to the central web of the running rail with regard to the diameter of the running roller. In particular, such a threshold projection is designed as an end shape of a leaf spring element, which engages through the running surface of the running rail or alternatively also through the counter-holding surface in the context of a correspondingly dimensioned opening, possibly slot-shaped. The leaf spring element is preferably fixed in the context of a clip connection on the running rail or its end region having the damping element.

Furthermore, the screw bolt holding the damping body — possibly simultaneously used for the fixing of the running rail — is used in a support bracket design for the running rail, which is supported in a fixed position directly or via the frame frame. In this way, the impact-like forces are not directed onto the running rail when the roller starts up against the damping body, but rather directly into the stationary mounting area.

Basically, the above-mentioned holding device is suitable for a wide variety of door leaves. As a preferred example of use, it is particularly suitable for relatively light, one-piece door leaves which can be moved overhead, for example for a door in which rollers are provided in the lateral central height region of the door leaf, which run in vertical guide rails which extend approximately upwards from this central height region. In addition, a handlebar is provided which is articulated in the area of the lower third of the door leaf as seen from the closed position is and at the other end is pivotally mounted in the upper frame area. Such a door leaf has a weight compensation device with a torsion spring which extends approximately horizontally above the door opening to be closed and rope drums arranged on a correspondingly running rod serving as a shaft, the rope end to be fastened to the door leaf approximately in the region of the rollers, in particular on their axes, attacks. In a practical version, these rollers are arranged approximately in the middle area between half the height and the lower third of the door leaf, when viewed in the closed state.

These and further refinements of the invention result from the subclaims, in particular with reference to the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the following description of which explains the invention in more detail.

In the upper edge section of the end region 3, a damping body 4 is provided which, facing the roller 2, has a V-collecting surface 5, which is formed by leg regions 6 and 7 of the damping body 4. As can also be seen in particular in FIG. 2, the inclination of the leg surfaces is such that it is oriented approximately tangentially to the peripheral surface 8 of the roller 2 are. The damping body 4 is fixed with the aid of a screw bolt 9, which also serves to fasten the running rail, to a bracket, not shown, for the stationary mounting of the running rail, so that forces exerted on the screw bolt 9 are derived directly into on-site areas. The damping body 4 is provided with a socket 13, which is intended to symbolize that the damping body 4 is held movably around the shaft of the screw bolt 9 and can thus adapt or align to the running roller in the assembled state, which necessarily between the Tread 11 and the counter surface 12, which are integrally connected by the central web 10, has a certain freedom of movement. This ensures that the roller 2 running against the damping body 4 acts equally on both leg surfaces of the legs 6 and 7 of the damping body. When starting and also releasing the legs spread by the start of the roller 2, friction is inevitably generated between the leg surfaces 5 and the peripheral surface 8 of the roller 2.

In order to additionally achieve a "catch effect", ie to prevent the roller from rebounding and thus moving the door leaf back towards the closed position, a leaf spring element 14 is provided which has a threshold projection 15 at its free end. The leaf spring element is arranged on the outside of the tread 11 of the rail 1, and its threshold projection extends through a slot-shaped opening 17 in the tread 11, so that the threshold projection 15 projects into the path of movement of the roller 2. At its opposite end, the leaf spring element is fixed by means of a clip connection 16 in the front edge region of the running rail 1. With this threshold projection, in addition to the damping effect of the body 4, an obstacle against a backward movement of the starting roller 2 is made available, which does not represent clamping, but only a rolling resistance to be overcome with little force.
