  • Holographic films are now commonly affixed to numerous documents (credit cards, passports, banknotes, etc.) which they make very difficult to counterfeit. They include the recording of an interference figure which it is impossible to reproduce without having the original matrix. They are therefore in themselves tamper-proof.
