Definitions

  • the invention relates to a corner formation, in particular for a container lid, for example for commercial vehicle trailers, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • DE-GM 82 13 271 describes a container lid with corner formations.
  • This container lid consists of a vertical profile that forms the edge of the lid and overlaps with an outer wall flange on the cover plate.
  • a substructure supporting the cover plate which is designed as a square frame and optionally has cross struts.
  • This substructure consists of a light metal hollow profile and lies on a support area formed on the inner wall of the vertical profile.
  • the cover plate forming the cover plate is arranged and held between the substructure and the outer wall flange of the vertical profile. All parts are fastened by riveting, welding or gluing.
  • the hollow profiles cut to length by a vertical cut are inserted into the corner
  • the edge of the lid and the hollow profiles forming the substructure are inserted and fastened.
  • This corner formation has, in addition to the outer walls aligned with the outer walls, which meet at right angles in the corners, a hollow profile frame corner on the inside, the legs of which extend beyond the outer walls.
  • the hollow profile frame corner has a rectangular cross section, so that the vertical profiles with their cavity can be positively pushed on and fastened.
  • the hollow profiles of the substructure and the cover plate resting thereon are arranged, the outer wall flanges of the vertical profiles and the corner designs reaching over the cover plate.
  • EP 0 004 459 A2 describes a corner design for a wall construction in which two surface elements are spaced apart from one another and are arranged and connected via a prefabricated, rigid corner profile and at least one elastic clamping profile.
  • the corner profile has a U-shaped receptacle for the end face of the first surface element and also a multi-angled contact web and a further longitudinal groove, between which the second surface element is arranged.
  • the elastic clamping profile which is fastened in the longitudinal groove, interacts with a further seal in the angled contact web.
  • two angled contact webs and longitudinal grooves with clamping profiles are provided, the box-shaped corner profile being additionally connected to two horizontally arranged, U-shaped corner profiles in order to securely hold the surface elements.
  • corner profiles simplifies the assembly of wall or container lid constructions, but requires a high degree of dimensional accuracy and exact match of the corner profile elements, the clamping profiles and the surface elements.
  • Elastic clamping profiles and other sealing compounds that can be used to compensate for the tolerances are subject to aging and have a limited service life.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a corner formation, the production is, for example, is further simplified by reservoir caps through the pre-fabricated using parts, so that the cost for the production process and also for the storage, in particular the labor and material costs, are relatively small .
  • the basic idea of the invention is to design a surface element, in particular a vertical profile forming the lid edge, in such a way that a prefabricated construction element which is fastened under tension as a section, but preferably as a rail, to the vertical profile with a support, a second surface element, for example a relatively light one and rigid honeycomb plate, pressed in a predetermined angular position on the outer wall flange of the vertical profile.
  • the structural element for example, by which the cover plate of a container is connected to the vertical edge profile in a clamping bracket, is a clamping profile which is clamped between two brackets formed in an undercut area, for example in a receiving pocket, of the vertical hollow profile in such a way that one for Cover plate directed, one-sided spring flange forms the support for the cover plate.
  • An angled upper part of the clamping profile acts as a spring flange, the flange leg of which no longer runs horizontally in the end position of the clamping profile, ie when the cover plate is clamped, but inclined to the receiving pocket.
  • the support for the cover plate is formed by the intersection of the two spring flange legs. It is advantageous to develop this profile more intensely.
  • the mounting of the clamping profile which is almost T-shaped or V-shaped or as an acute angle, is made possible by a bearing foot that can be stored in the receiving pocket of the vertical profile and one at the end of the flange leg arranged clamping lug, which engages behind a formed in the receiving pocket clamp bracket realized.
  • the receiving pocket is preferably an undercut of the inner wall of the vertical profile near the corner area, which underlies part or over the entire length.
  • the clamping pocket has a groove which receives the bearing base of the clamping profile and is shaped to be complementary to the joint-like bearing base.
  • the side wall of the receiving pocket which is inclined towards the outer wall, can be stiffened by a crossbar.
  • the receiving pocket has an almost horizontal connection area in the upper region, in which a clamping web which is form-fitting to the clamping lug is formed and to which the vertical inner wall of the edge profile is adjacent.
  • the cover plate of the container lies against this part of the vertical inner wall and is clamped between the outer wall flange of the vertical profile and the support of the spring flange of the clamping profile.
  • a honeycomb plate which is coated with aluminum and / or steel or a glass fiber reinforced plastic is advantageously used as the cover plate.
  • a mechanically stable material is preferably used as the material for the vertical hollow profile and for the clamping profile Material used, especially aluminum, since it is corrosion-resistant, light and easy to process. In addition, other materials customary in motor vehicle construction can also be used.
  • the cover plate can also be a wooden plate.
  • the clamping profile is preferably designed as an aluminum rail, which extends over the entire length of the vertical hollow profile. In addition to an approximately T-shaped configuration of the clamping profile, the upper cross leg forming the spring leg, other cross-sectional shapes in the shape of a V, or in the manner of an acute angle, can also be used. For better power transmission from the clamping area with the cover plate into the vertical hollow profile, an at least slight inclination of the clamping profile in the locked state is preferred.
  • this clamping profile can therefore be used on all four long sides. Miter cuts are no longer required for the corner areas of the vertical hollow profiles, as there e.g. Plastic corner corners can be used, the outer surface flush with the outer surfaces of the vertical hollow profiles or can overlap them slightly. It is possible that a clamping profile arranged over a longitudinal side is divided so that an internal engagement in the plastic cover corner is possible. When using such plastic lid corners, a seal, e.g. by means of silicone, compared to the extruded profiles used.
  • the corner design according to the invention allows simple connection of surface elements and also enables, for example in the event of damage to an element, the dismantling and reuse of the clamping profile and / or a surface element.
  • the first surface element 1 is a vertical hollow profile 2, for example made of aluminum, which has an inner wall 3 and an outer wall 4 with an outer wall flange 5 which overlaps the second surface element 7, for example a cover plate 7.
  • a rigid, relatively light honeycomb plate, which can be coated, is used as the cover plate 7.
  • Both the cover plate 7 and the vertical profiles 2 forming the cover edge have the dimensions required for the container cover.
  • the third structural element, a clamping profile 10 designed as a prefabricated aluminum rail, is also cut to the required size.
  • the almost T-shaped clamping profile 10 consists of a web 12 in the end position aligned with the inner wall 3 of the vertical profile 2 with end brackets 11, 13 or end bearings, namely at its lower end a bearing base 14 as end bracket 11 and at its upper end one Forming 18, for example a clamping lug 18, for a clamping bracket as the upper end bracket 13.
  • This clamping profile 10 with its approximately superimposed end bearings or end supports 11, 13, namely the bearing foot 14 and the clamping lug 18, can be inserted or latched into the receiving pocket 20.
  • a one-sided spring flange 16 which is formed at an acute angle from the web 12, points at an intersection of the two flange legs to the cover plate 7, while at the opposite end of the almost horizontal upper leg of the spring flange 16, the clamping lug 18 is directed into the receiving pocket 20.
  • the bearing base 14 of the clamping profile 10 is designed in the manner of a joint head and is detachably supported in the complementarily shaped groove 24 of the receiving pocket 20. Above the bearing base 14, the clamping profile 10 merges step-wise into the web 12 aligned with the inner wall 3.
  • the support 17 for the cover plate 7 is formed in the intersection area of the two flange legs of the spring flange 16. It has a profile-reinforced design in order to ensure that the cover plate 7 is securely clamped between the support 17 and the outer wall flange 5.
  • the receiving pocket 20 is designed as a linear indentation or as an undercut in the inner wall 3 of the vertical profile 2 near the corner region. It consists of a channel 24 receiving the bearing base 14 of the clamping profile 10, a side wall 22 inclined in the direction of the outer wall 4 of the vertical profile 2 and an almost horizontal connecting region 26 to the inner wall 3, which is oriented vertically and delimits the cover plate 7.
  • the receiving pocket 20 is stiffened in the region of the inclined side wall 22 by a crossbar 30 to the outer wall 4.
  • the clamping bracket of the clamping profile 10 is by means of the groove 24 and a clamping web 28, the is formed in the almost horizontal part of the connection region 26 is reached. This clamping web 28 is form-fitting to the clamping lug 18 of the clamping profile 10, so that in the end position the clamping lug 18 engages behind this clamping web 28 in a non-positive manner.
  • the clamping profile 10 is inserted with the bearing foot 14 into the groove 24 of the receiving pocket 20. Since the lower clamping profile web 12 rests on the inner wall 3, the one-sided spring flange 16 is located almost horizontally to the outer wall flange 5 of the vertical profile 2.
  • the cover plate 7 can now be placed on the support 17 and pushed up to the upper inner wall 3 of the vertical profile 2.
  • the clamping lug 18 snaps behind the clamping web 28 of the receiving pocket 20, the bearing 17 being pressed against the cover plate 7 at the same time, and this is thereby fixed against the outer wall flange 5.
  • a sealing material e.g. Inject silicone to ensure the tightness of the container or the container lid. Since the corner formation according to the invention realizes a secure and tight connection of two surface elements, in particular a cover plate with a vertical wall, the previously required substructure as well as the previously common, subsequent connection of the structural parts, for example by riveting or welding or by an additional connecting element, e.g. Corner profile, so that the manufacture of corner connections is much easier and at relatively low cost.
