Definitions

  • the juxtaposition of the plates forms a plurality of planes on the climbing surface, which is connected to a wall or a scaffold by interchangeable connecting bars.
  • the object of the invention consists in making an artificial climbing wall with a modular left surface composed from standard elements.
  • the artificial structure according to the invention is characterized in that the panels have specific curved structures, having surfaces projected in orthogonal directions on the posterior vertical plane parallel to the wall, and on the frontal plane, identical in the form of inscribed polygons, in particular a square, an equilateral triangle, or a hexagon, and lateral edges comprising at least a first contour associated with a first unevenness h, and / or a second contour associated with a second unevenness 2h, the assembly of the panels taking place with consecutive edges of the same contours and differences in level to obtain a modular left surface distributed according to a plurality of levels h, 2h, 3h, 4h ... at constant staggering.
  • composition of the left surface is made from eighteen types of square projection panels, including a first panel constituting the planar element.
  • the constituent panels of the left surface comprise a first group of four panels belonging to the first unevenness h, a second group of four panels with edges of second contour belonging to the second unevenness 2h, and a third group of nine panels with edges first and / or second contours belonging to the first and / or second unevenness h, 2h, said panels of the third group being arranged to connect panels of the first and second groups together.
  • Panels on the left surface have rectilinear edges disposed at predetermined levels.
  • an artificial climbing wall has a modular left surface 22 formed by the assembly of a plurality of removable prefabricated panels 0 to 8, 10D, 10G, 11, 12D, 12G, 13D, 13G, 14, 15 each having a predetermined curved structure, some of which are shown in FIGS. 2 to 13.
  • the juxtaposition of the various elementary panels is interchangeable so as to allow a modification of the configuration of the left surface 22 by a simple recomposition of panels.
  • each standard panel 0 to 8, 10D, 10G, 11, 12D, 12G, 13D, 13G, 14, 15 is fitted with grips (not shown) comprising either hollow or projecting sculptures coming from molding with the panel, either removable sockets attached to the panel by means of screws or fixing bolts.
  • the left surface 22 is secured from the rear to a fixed support 24 by means of a metallic frame 26 (fig. 21) with tubular bars.
  • the fixed support 24 is constituted by an existing wall 28, on which rails 30 are profiled for fixing the bars of the frame 26, but it is understood that any other supporting structure can be used, in particular a scaffolding system.
  • the orthogonal projection of the left surface 22 on the posterior vertical plane parallel to the wall 24 (fig. 1), and on the frontal plane P makes it possible to discretize the surface in two perpendicular directions.
  • the decomposition of the surface projected on the posterior plane generates a succession of identical regular frames based on equal squares of side a, distributed in several rows A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and columns B1, B2 , B3, B4, B5, B6.
  • the different successive levels h, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h ... to discretize the slopes or the inclination of the curved structure of the different panels relative to the posterior vertical plane.
  • the staggering of the successive levels is constant and is fixed by way of example at 25 cm.
  • the first panel 0 in the upper row constitutes the square planar element at level zero.
  • a first group of panels 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the second row corresponds to the first unevenness h (25cm), associated with the following respective combinations: whose curved surfaces are represented in FIGS. 2 to 5.
  • the panel 1 of FIG. 2 comprises two adjacent rectilinear edges situated at the same level 0, and two other adjacent profiled edges extending from level 1 to level 0.
  • the panel 2 (fig. 3) is provided with two opposite rectilinear edges located one at level 0, the other at level h, and two opposite profiled edges extending between levels h and o.
  • the panel 3 (fig.4) is the symmetrical dru panel 1.
  • the panel 4 (fig.5) is shaped like a horse saddle comprising four profiled edges of the same drop h.
  • the first contour of the profiled edges associated with the panels 1, 2, 3, and 4 has a predetermined shape, for example, a symmetrical broken line.
  • a second group of four panels 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the third row corresponds to the second height difference 2h (50cm) having the following respective combinations: whose curved surfaces are shown in Figures 6 to 9.
  • the second contour of the profiled edges is a portion of sinusoid. It is understood that any other contour can be chosen for the profiled edges of the first and second groups of panels 1 to 8.
  • the nine panels of the third group correspond to the following combinations:
  • the panel 10D has a straight edge of level 0, two adjacent profiled edges with the first contour in broken line, and a profiled edge with the second sinusoidal contour.
  • the panel 12D comprises a rectilinear edge located at level h, two opposite profiled edges with the first contour in broken line, and a profiled edge with the second sinusoidal contour.
  • the panel 11 is provided with four profiled edges of the first contour extending between the levels 0, h, 2 h.
  • the panel 13D in FIG. 13 is provided with a rectilinear edge located at the 2h level, two adjacent profiled edges with the first contour extending between levels 0, h, 2h, and a profiled edge with the second sinusoidal contour.
  • Figure 14 shows an assembly of four panels 1, 3, 2, 3 of the first group distributed on three levels 0, h, 2h. To be contiguous, the edges of two adjacent panels must have the same straight or broken line contour and the same level or the first drop h.
  • FIG 15 there is shown an assembly of four panels 5,7,5,6 of the second group distributed over three levels 0, 2h, 4h.
  • the edges abutting two consecutive panels must have the same rectilinear or sinusoidal contour, and the same level or the second difference in level 2h.
  • FIG. 16 shows an assembly of four panels 10D, 6, 13D, 1 belonging to the three groups, distributed over five levels 0, h, 2h, 3h, 4h.
  • each panel has an edge parallel to the direction of projection allowing the panels of the same column to be stacked.
  • the mechanical fixing of two consecutive panels is then carried out by means of bolts 32.
  • each edge of the panel is fitted at the rear with a symmetrical L-shaped square 34, each wing of which has a hole 36, 38 for the passage of fixing screws.
  • the framework 26 for connection between the panels of the left surface 22 and the wall 28 comprises standard bars in the form of tubes 40.
  • Each tube 40 is crushed at both ends so as to present two surfaces opposite support of flat structures, one of which 42 is shown in Figure 22.
  • each tube 40 is fixed on the panel side to a square node 34, while the other bearing surface 42 is secured by bolts 44 on a fixing plate 46, screwed onto the corresponding profile rail 30. This results in rapid mounting of the frame 26.
  • Each point of attachment of a square node 34 is associated with a pair of tubes 40 of the same length, each making an acute angle x with the normal to the wall 28.
  • Such an arrangement of the tubes 40 according to an isosceles triangle allows recovery efforts of the frame 26 without passing through the panels.
  • the choice of the angle x depends on the forces admissible in the tubes 40.
  • connection elements 54 capable of obtaining closed surfaces.
  • the invention is in no way limited to an artificial climbing wall, but extends to any other construction of modular left structure.
