Aus diesem Grunde wird den unterhalb des Fahrzeuges angeordneten und an dessen Unterseite einziehbaren Strahlereinheiten lediglich ein Arbeitsbereich zugeordnet, welcher durch die Kurve 21 begrenzt ist. Der nach außen daran anschließende Randweg bzw. Böschungsbereich wird hingegen durch gesonderte Strahlereinheiten 3,3' bearbeitet, deren Einsatzbereich durch die Kurve 22 berandet ist.
