Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schachtel aus Karton für die Verpackung von Arzneimitteln, insbesondere von in Blistern verpackten Arzneimitteln.The invention relates to a cardboard box for the packaging of pharmaceuticals, in particular pharmaceuticals packaged in blisters.
Die in Blistern abgepackten Arzneimittel sind konventionell in Faltschachteln aus Karton, die beidseitig symmetrisch durch sogenannte Steckverschlüsse verschlossen werden können, verpackt. Bei diesen Steckverschlüssen handelt es sich um flächenhafte rechteckige Verlängerungen zumeist der Vorder- und/oder Rückseite der Schachtel. Die genannte Verlängerung hat die Dimension einer zu der Vorder- oder Rückseite senkrecht stehenden Seitenfläche der Schachtel, die es zu verschließen gilt, zuzüglich einer von dieser abgefalzten Lasche, die beim Verschließen in die Schachtel einfährt. Die genannte flächenhafte Verlängerung läßt sich von der Vorder- bzw. Arzneimittel werden in erhöhtem Ausmaß gerade vom älteren Patienten verwendet, denen die Handhabung der Arzneimittel als solche aber auch die der diese umgebenden Verpackungen erleichtert werden muß. Gerade bei den geschilderten Faltschachteln des Standes der Technik mit Steckverschlüssen ist dies aber nur sehr unzureichend gegeben.Medicines are being used to an increased extent by elderly patients, for whom the handling of the medicinal products as such, but also that of the packaging surrounding them, must be facilitated. Ist eine solche Faltschachtel einmal, zumeist auf einer Seite, geöffnet, können ungewolltermaßen die Arzneimittel, z.B. die in Blister verpackten Arzneimittel, herausgleiten. Aber schon das Öffnen einer solchen Faltschachtel mit Steckverschluß ist gerade für Patienten mit Fingergelenkserkrankungen besonders unvorteilhaft. Immerhin muß man zum Öffnen einer solchen Schachtel mit dem Finger bzw. Fingernagel zwischen die oben beschriebene Lasche des Steckverschlusses und die Vorder- bzw. Rückseite der Schachtel eindringen, um die Lasche aus dem Schachtelinnern herauszuziehen. Es läßt sich dabei offensichtlich nicht vermeiden, daß der Steckverschluß, der wie die Faltschachtel selbst, aus Karton gefertigt ist, irreversibel deformiert wird bzw. nach der Re-Deformierung nicht mehr die ursprüngliche Flächenstabilität aufweist. Da auch die gegenüberliegende Seite der Schachtel geöffnet werden kann, treffen die geschilderten Probleme auch auf diese Seite zu. Insgesamt führt dies dazu, daß mit zunehmenden Öffnen und Schließen die Stabilität der Faltschachtel beträchtlich abnimmt, was insbesondere dann besonders relevant ist, wenn schon eine gewisse Zahl der Blister aus der Schachtel genommen worden ist und die Schachtel ihre Stabilität nicht mehr durch das, das gesamte Innenvolumen einnehmende, Verpackungsgut (Blister) erfährt. Ein weiterer Nachteil der beschriebenen Faltschachtel ist darin zu sehen, daß nach dem Öffnen der Faltschachtel die Blister nicht bzw. noch nicht einmal teilweise frei liegen, so daß auch deren Herausnehmen erschwert ist. Der Versuch des Heraus- "schnickens" eines Blisters endet zumeist indem Herausgleiten des gesamten Inhalts der Faltschachtel. Dadurch, daß zwei Seiten der Schachtel geöffnet werden können, ist man sich als Benutzer einer solchen Faltschachtel noch nicht einmal sicher, gerade diejenige Seite zu öffnen, auf der die Blister nicht durch den Beipackzettel verdeckt sind.Once such a folding box is opened, usually on one side, the medicinal products, e.g. the medicines packed in blisters slide out. Figuren A und B zeigen zwei Ausgestaltungen der erfindungsgemäßen Schachtel (1). Die Schachtel (1) selbst ist vorzugsweise im Bereich des Kappenverschlusses (2) zweischichtig aufgebaut, wobei für die beiden Schichten Karton unterschiedlicher Stärke verwendet werden kann. Die innere Schicht (3) ist aber im Bereich des Klappenausschlusses zumindest einseitig, nicht ausgeführt; dadurch wird die Entnahme der Blister (4) gewährleistet. Vorzugsweise ist diese innere Schicht teilweise auch nicht ausgeführt im Bereich der Vorderseite der Schachtel (Seitenlängenverhältnis unter 2:1). Dadurch ist die Möglichkeit gegeben, daß die Blisterstreifen (4) und die Arzneimittel (5) nach Öffnen des Kappenverschlusses sofort auch von oben sichtbar sind. Diese Öffnung (6) in der inneren Schicht der Vorderseite der Schachtel ist aber vorzugsweise kleiner als die darüber zum Liegen kommende äußere Schicht, die durch ein Kappenverschluß (2) gebildet wird.Figures A and B show two configurations of the box (1) according to the invention.
