Das Funktionsprinzip einer solchen Verbindung ergibt sich beispielsweise auch aus dem Stand der Technik, eine entsprechende Kupplungsfeder ist zweckmäßigerweise ebenfalls wieder eine Schenkelfeder. Claims (7)

  1. A motor vehicle door lock with a lock support (1), a pivoting lock catch (2), a locking latch (3) which locks the lock catch (2) in the closed position, a transmission lever (8) which actuates the locking latch (3) by means of a load transmission face (7), and a locking lever (9), wherein the transmission lever (8) and the locking lever (9) are actuated by a Bowden cable (10), and wherein the transmission lever (8) executes an idle stroke in the locked position, characterised in that the outer sleeve (12) of the Bowden cable (10) is fastened to the lock support (1) and the core (13) of the Bowden cable (10) is attached to the transmission lever (8) so that it can be acted upon under tension and under compression, that the transmission lever (8) is set by means of the core (13) of the Bowden cable (10) in three positions, namely the locked position, the unlocked position and the open position, and that the locking lever (9) is not attached to the Bowden cable (10) but is attached to the transmission lever (8) via a coupling spring (14) acting in both directions and is thus entrained by the transmission lever (8).
  2. A motor vehicle door lock according to claim 1, characterised in that the locking lever (9) is pivotally mounted on the same bearing axis (15) as the transmission lever (8).
  3. A motor vehicle door lock according to claim 2, characterised in that the coupling spring (14) is constructed as a leg spring twisted round the bearing axis (15), fastened to the transmission lever (8), and with its two legs seated against a carrier peg (17) on the locking lever (9) on both sides.
  4. A motor vehicle door lock according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a central locking drive (19) is mounted on the lock support (1) and is coupled to the locking lever (9).
  5. A motor vehicle door lock according to any one of claims 1 to 4, particularly according to claim 4, characterised in that the coupling spring (14) is installed with an initial stress, preferably an initial stress of about 20 N.
  6. A motor vehicle door lock any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the coupling spring (14) has a maximum stress of about 40 N.
  7. A motor vehicle door lock according to claim 4 and optionally according to claim 5 or claim 6, characterised in that the central locking drive (19) can be locked in a locked position - an anti-theft locked position - and that the locking lever (9) is in two parts, namely an inner part (9a) attached to the transmission lever (8) and an outer part (9b) attached to the central locking drive (19), which are coupled to each other via a central locking coupling, particularly a central locking coupling spring (20), that the actuating force of the central locking coupling, particularly the spring resistance of the central locking coupling spring (20), is greater than the maximum stress of the coupling spring (14), and that an emergency unlocking lever, which can be actuated from the external door lock or the like, acts on the inner part (9a).
