Description
The invention relates to a floating element, consisting of an essentially prismatic, preferably cuboid base body which has corner connecting parts projecting outward in the corner edge regions with eyes and catches for receiving and latching connecting bolts for a single-layer assembly of several identical floating elements.
Such floating elements, for example from AT-PS 312 039, can be used for floating platforms, boat and landing stages, but also for work platforms, rafts, bridges, oil and dirt barriers and the like. The like. Compose and have also proven their worth due to their diverse range of applications. In order to achieve a higher load-bearing capacity of the platforms etc. with the same floating elements, it has already been proposed according to AT-PS 325 094 to stack the floating elements on top of one another, the individual elements of the layers being aligned one above the other and common for the corner connecting parts of the superimposed elements. accordingly extended connecting bolts are provided. This direct superimposition of the connection points, however, leads to a certain internal mobility of the two-layer or multi-layer platform or the like and to a high load on the element connections, so that instabilities have to be accepted and, with higher loads, damage to the connection parts must also be feared are.
As US-A-2 430 178 shows, there are already floating aircraft runways that consist of at least two floating element layers consist. The floating elements of these layers each have a plurality of continuous, regularly distributed mounting openings, but have no external connecting parts and can only be connected to one another in two or more layers by overlapping one another, with anchor springs in the axially aligned mounting openings for the actual connection overlying floating elements are to be braced. The result is again a very unstable, fluctuating construction, the assembly of the floating elements, which requires tensioning a large number of anchor springs, is extremely laborious and complex and, last but not least, the floating elements fundamentally preclude the assembly of a single-layer platform.
The invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies and a floating element of the aforementioned To create a type that is particularly suitable for a two- or multi-layer structure and allows a particularly stable, heavy-duty element connection when stacked.
The invention solves this problem in that the base body forms a central, through-going mounting opening with support surfaces for receiving and supporting a connecting bolt when the same floating elements are placed one on top of the other, the layers of the floating elements each lying in the direction of the diagonal between the opening in the holder and the eyes, one above the other of eyes and holder openings are arranged offset from one another and the respective superimposed eyes and holder openings are associated with a connecting bolt which extends between at least two layers and can be supported both on the catches of the eyes and on the supporting surfaces of the holder openings. Due to the floating elements offset from one another from layer to layer, the connection points of the elements of a layer are supported by a floating element lying below or above it, and a firm, stable element structure is ensured. The connecting bolts ensuring the cohesion between the layers latch on the one hand in the eyes of the elements of one layer and on the other hand in the mounting opening of an element of the adjacent lower or upper layer, which entails a consolidation of the corner connection points of the elements of a layer and a mutual bracing of the superimposed ones Element layers results. The desired highly resilient swimming platform or the like which is composed in a stable and stable manner is created.
If the holder opening has a support ring forming the support surface with a cross-sectional shape of Eyes adapted inner cross section, simple connecting bolts can be used, the same locking cams or the like. For the latching of the eyes and the support surfaces of the mounting holes and can be locked on both sides by twisting after axial insertion in the eyes and mounting holes.
It is particularly advantageous if the floating element consists of a ring-shaped hollow body which forms the center of the mounting opening, since this hollow body can be produced rationally, preferably from plastic, and a high load-bearing capacity is obtained even with smaller wall thicknesses. If the hollow body is foamed, the strength of the hollow body increases in a simple manner, and the foam filling also prevents water from penetrating if there is a leak.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated purely schematically on the basis of an embodiment and application example, specifically that FIGS. 1 and 2 show a floating element according to the invention in vertical section along the line II of FIG. 2 or in plan view and FIGS. 3 and 4 show one Part of a multi-layer platform composed of such floating elements in vertical section along the line III-III of FIG. 4 or in plan view.
For the single-layer assembly of the
If the
As illustrated in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the connecting
The
