Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a glaze spray booth with outer walls made of metal or water and gas-tight plastic.
In the current and conventional designs of spray booths, the walls are made of metal, e.g. Nirosta, or made of plastic. The known spray booths have the disadvantage that the cost of cleaning them is quite high. When changing colors or during the necessary intermediate cleaning, the glaze residues must be sheared off the cabin walls, the glaze residues shoveled out of the cabin and the cabin then cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. This way, cleaning a conventional spray booth takes about 1 hour. The necessary frequent cleaning per day results in very high cleaning costs and there is a short service life.
The aim of the invention is to provide a glaze spray booth in which the disadvantages mentioned are eliminated, i.e. that the cost of cleaning and the time required for it are relatively low.
This goal is achieved with a spray booth with outer walls made of metal or water- and gas-tight plastic, which according to the invention has a plastic lining with an open pore structure, which is connected to connections for water and for compressed air.
The complete interior lining of the spray booth is made of plastic, for example based on acrylic resin with an open pore structure. The inner wall parts made of plastic with an open pore structure are equipped with connections for water and air.
According to a further feature of the invention, longitudinal and / or transverse lines are arranged in the lining with outlet openings uniformly distributed over their length for the supply of water and compressed air. According to the invention, the sides of the lining facing the outer walls are provided with bores which are evenly distributed over the entire lining surface, the bores preferably having a depth which extends up to one centimeter to the inner surface of the lining. In this way it is achieved that the entire discharge can be supplied with water or compressed air evenly.
For cleaning the cabin, about half a minute of water is first introduced into the plastic lining with an open pore structure, whereby the plastic fills up like a sponge and the glaze on the walls partially begins to dissolve. Then air is pressed into the plastic lining with an open pore structure. The water emerges mixed with the compressed air from the lining made of plastic with an open pore structure. The entire glaze on the walls flows into a collecting basin below. This process can e.g. about every half hour, whereby it can be controlled fully automatically via valves. The cleaning of the glaze spray booth according to the invention is thus much easier and much less complex than the cleaning of the known spray booths. In addition, there is the further advantage that the entire glaze that runs from the cabin into the catch basin can be recycled so that nothing is lost. In this way, disposal problems are avoided and the environment is protected.
In the drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown.
Fig. 1 zeigt eine schematische Vorderansicht einer erfindungsgemäßen Spritzkabine, Fig. 2 eine schematische Seitenansicht derselben Kabine und Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie A-B in Fig. 1.1 shows a schematic front view of a spray booth according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a schematic side view of the same booth and FIG. 3 shows a section along the line A-B in FIG. 1.
