Description

The invention relates to a refuse container with a pocket-shaped receiving device provided in the front region of the opening edge for a gripping claw of a lifting and tipping device or with a comb strip.

Such waste containers are already known, for example, from EP-A-288 066. A receiving pocket is already provided there in the upper, front area of the container body. Vertically extending, spaced ribs are arranged within the receiving pocket. The lower edges of these ribs reproduce the contour of the active surface of a triangular gripping claw, the tip of which points upwards and which has a lower, horizontal edge. This gives the garbage container, which is usually made of plastic injection molding, the necessary rigidity and fatigue strength to withstand the stresses that result from picking up and tilting with the gripping claws of a lifting and tipping device.

In the case of waste disposal, for example using the above-mentioned waste containers, a cost recording for the disposal service of different materials is currently carried out either according to the m³ volume of the container provided or according to a flat rate. Here, however the real amount of waste is insufficiently taken into account, so that the current cost calculation is unfair. In order to be able to carry out a cost calculation based on the polluter pays principle, various automatic identification systems have been developed. In order to be able to determine the disposal fees individually, the weight of the individual waste fractions is included as the most important parameter for determining the individual fees. To do this, the waste containers are weighed before emptying. Automatic waste container identification systems have already been proposed in order to be able to assign the waste to the respective causer. In this case, data carriers are attached to the waste containers, in which, for example, the customer number, the type of fraction, the container size and the total amount of the weight already emptied can be stored. When emptied, this information is read by an identification system arranged on the lifter of the lifting and tipping device of the refuse collection vehicle and passed on to a central unit of a microcomputer via a data bus. Before emptying, the identified waste container is weighed using a weighing system integrated in the lifter. These data are also forwarded to the central unit and are simultaneously stored in the data carrier by means of a write head which is also integrated in the lifter. When transferring data from the data carrier on the garbage container to the reading head on the lifter and vice versa, a correct assignment from the data carrier to the read and write head of the identification system is necessary.

The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a generic waste container in such a way that the information stored in the data carrier of the waste container can be read without problems by means of a read head and supplemented by means of a write head.

This object is achieved in that a holder with a data carrier arranged in it is inserted in a recess of the pocket-shaped receiving device. This arrangement has the advantage that the data carrier can be positioned in a particularly simple manner and precisely in the pocket-shaped receiving device, so that it lies in the correct position with a read and write head arranged, for example, in the gripping claw or in the holding bar.

According to an advantageous embodiment, an edge is formed on the holder for the data carrier, which in the assembled state lies in a groove surrounding the recess in the pocket-shaped receiving device.

The holder in the integrated data carrier preferably projects into the interior of the pocket-shaped receiving device.

Inside the receiving pocket, the vertically extending, spaced ribs, which are attached for reinforcement, can be arranged in such a way that their edges pointing towards the floor are chamfered in such a way that they emulate the contour of the active surface of the receiving piece. The disk-shaped data carrier is received in the free end of the holder in such a way that it is chamfered at the same angle as the edges of the reinforcing ribs. After engagement of the gripping claw, the disk-shaped data carrier then lies parallel to the surface of the gripping claw, where the write and read head of the identification system is advantageously arranged. This arrangement ensures a position-specific assignment of data carriers to the lifter-side identification system.

The holder can be closed from the outside with a plastic disc be so that it is protected from environmental influences.

With regard to the details that are not reproduced in detail below, reference is made to the disclosure there.

The waste container shown in Figure 1 consists of a thermoplastic material and has a capacity of 120 l in the embodiment described. In the front area the receptacle body is provided with a receiving pocket, designated overall by 12. Vertically extending, spaced-apart ribs are arranged within the receiving pocket 12, which are not shown in FIG. 1, but according to the bottom view. Figure 6 can be seen and there are designated 24. The lower edges of these ribs, as is not shown in more detail here, simulate the contour of the active surface of a gripping claw, also not shown, of a lifting and tipping device. This gripping claw is a triangular receiving claw, the tip of which points upwards and which has a lower, horizontal edge. The design of the ribs ensures that the gripping claw engages precisely and self-centering when the waste container is received.

A circular recess 14 for receiving a holder for a data carrier is arranged approximately centrally on the front of the receiving pocket 12. It can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3 that a groove 22 springs back at the edge of the recess 14 and serves to receive an edge of the holder. The otherwise circular groove 22 is flattened on one side, so that this makes it possible to center the insertable holder. This centering flat is designated 23.

FIG. 4, the holder 16 is inserted into the pocket-shaped receiving device 12. The edge 20 engages in the groove 14 so that the holder sits securely on the one hand and does not protrude beyond the surface of the pocket-shaped receiving device 12 on the other hand. Within the holder, the data carrier 18, which consists of a disk-shaped passive microchip, is held in a position 19 in a seat. The data carrier 18 is chamfered by an angle α relative to the wall of the pocket-shaped receiving device 12. This angle corresponds to the angle α of the beveled Edge 28 of the ribs 26. As shown in FIG. 4, the edges 28 run parallel to the end face of the data carrier 18. A reinforcing rib 24 ends above the holder 16.

The arrangement of the ribs in relation to the holder 16 is most clearly shown in FIG. 6.

The holder 16, which is shown in FIG. 5 without the data carrier 18 inserted, advantageously consists of a plastic injection molded part. Normally, this holder will be cohesively connected to the pocket-shaped receiving device 12 so that the data carrier cannot be replaced without authorization.

The holder 16 shown in FIG. 5 is closed to the outside with a cover 30 (see FIG. 4). This lies on two bracket-side shoulders 32 and ends with the edge 20.
