Anlage zum Herstellen von umreiften Drahtgitter¬ rollen, mit einer Wickelvorrichtung, die einen angetriebe¬ nen Wickeldorn zum Aufwickeln des zugeführten Drahtgitters und eine Leiteinrichtung zum Einfädeln des Drahtgitters in den Wickeldorn aufweist, einer Abstreifvorrichtung, mit welcher die gewickelte Drahtgitterrolle relativ zum Wickel¬ dorn in axialer Richtung bewegbar ist, einem Greifermecha¬ nismus, der gegen die Mantelfläche der Drahtgitterrolle von. oben her und von unten her schwenkbare Greifarme aufweist und mittels einer Transportvorrichtung aus einer ersten Stellung, in welcher er die Drahtgitterrolle im Bereich der Wickelvorrichtung mittels der Greifarme aufnimmt, über eine die Rollenlänge übersteigende Entfernung in Richtung der Wickeldornachse in eine zweite vom Wickeldorn entfernte Stellung bewegbar ist, und einer Umreifungsvorrichtung für die gewickelte Drahtgitterrolle mit einem Umreifungsrahmen für ein Umreifungselement, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Greifermechanismus zumindest zwei voneinander unabhängige, mit zugeordneten Halterungen (18) versehene Einheiten von Greifarmen (19, 20, 21) aufweist und mittels eines den Greifermechanismus tragenden, in an sich bekannter Weise auf Schienen (17) verfahrbaren Wagens (16) parallel zur Wickeldornachse gesteuert in frei wählbare Positionen verstellbar ist, und daß der in an sich bekannter Weise senkrecht zur Wickeldornachse -verstellbare Umreifungsrahmen (28) ebenfalls auf einem Wagen (26) montiert und mit diesem Wagen parallel zur Wickeldornachse (x-x) auf Schienen (25) gesteuert in frei wählbare Umreifungspositionen verfahrbar ist, wobei die Greifarme (19, 20, 21) jeder Greifarmeinheit zum Passieren des Umreifungsrahmens (28) von der Draht¬ gitterrolle gesteuert wegschwenkbar sind.1.
