Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for lifting and transporting heavy, essentially plate-shaped objects, in particular gantry cranes for lifting and transporting hatch covers on ships, with a portal that can be moved on rails on both sides of the plate-shaped objects, and several that interact with the portal, for locking or relocation the drivers provided for the respective object and at least one lifting device.
- On-board gantry cranes often have the task of lifting heavy hatch covers with weights of 100 t and more and stacking them over a closed hatch.
- Solutions in the form of a portal-type deck crane with hanging hydraulic cylinders which raise the load via the ring surfaces of the cylinder are generally known.
- the latching of the cylinders in corresponding devices on the hatch cover and the absorption of the horizontal forces by trimming or heeling in connection with the acceleration forces that occur is difficult and complex.
- the German utility model 19 23 267 discloses a pallet truck deck for inland navigation vessels made of corrugated or trapezoidal profiled sheet metal. Several webs of the profiled sheets are joined together by riveted and welded-in angles to cover parts, which are lifted by a lifting truck with lifting device running over the cover parts, moved laterally and placed at several points on top of each other.
- the pallet truck can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the ship on rails running to the side of the sheets and is provided with drivers which engage under the protruding ends of the cover parts.
- the lifting takes place by means of a hydraulic cylinder in connection with a cable. With this device, there is only the possibility of lifting and transporting the relatively light corrugated metal covers.
- the device consists of a lifting gear that can be connected to the part of the hatch cover that is to be lifted and that rolls on a mounting rail that runs in the longitudinal direction along the hatch filling on each side of the ship.
- a hoist a gallows-shaped crane arranged on opposite sides of the hatch, which runs with its foot in a known manner on a mounting rail arranged on deck or in the vicinity of the hatch sill, points with its operating side to the hatch and at about half height with one horizontal force-absorbing guide roller is provided, which runs in a support rail attached to the upper edge of the hatch.
- a device is suitable for lifting and moving particularly heavy hatch covers, particularly those that are large in the longitudinal direction of the ship, in which each lifting device consists of two crane gallows braced together.
- a disadvantage of such a device is that after the respective hatch cover has been lifted, problems in handling are formed in such a way that the horizontal forces which are formed by trimming, heeling and accelerating forces can hardly be introduced into the supporting structure by this device, unless it is because that the entire storage (vertical and horizontal rollers) is stiffened so that it is able to absorb the corresponding forces. Such a measure would make the entire facility much heavier and more difficult to use.
- the invention has for its object to develop a device described in the generic part of the first claim to the extent that it is able to safely accommodate hatch covers of various shapes and weights without any movement of the respective Hatch covers, which are generated by the movement of the ship or the movement of the portal, adversely affect the construction.
- levers are preferably arranged on the travel beams of a gantry crane or gantry in such a way that one side of the levers is connected to the travel beam via two bearings.
- the other side of the lever has a hydraulically or pneumatically extendable bolt that engages in a corresponding opening on the hatch.
- the opening can be formed by a recess in the side surfaces of the hatch cover or by a welded eye.
- a hydraulic cylinder pushes the pin side of the lever up to the maximum stack height, which can be between 2 and 3 m.
- the hatch weight and all horizontal forces can thus be absorbed via the support bolts, bearings and hydraulic cylinders. There is no longer any movement of the plates, covers or hatch covers when lifting and moving, even when the ship is trimming or lifting.
- the hatch covers lie on the hatch in such a way that they end with their boundary edges.
- this device which describes a circular arc when lifting.
- the invention is not only applicable to so-called gantries, i.e. On-board cranes, straightened, there is also the possibility of using this gantry crane on land and using it to lift and transport heavy and heaviest loads that cannot otherwise be handled by other cranes.
- the lifting device 1 which is arranged on board a ship, not shown, consists of a portal 2, which is arranged approximately in the middle on two carriers 3, 4.
- the travel carriers 3, 4 are designed with undercarriages 5, 6, 7 and 8, which can be moved on board on a rail, also not shown.
- the lifting devices 9, 10, 11 and 12 are fastened to the travel carriers 3, 4.
- the hatch cover 13 to be lifted is only shown in broken lines for the sake of a better overview.
- the lifting device 9 consists of a lever 14 which is articulated in the region of its one end 15 via two bearings 16, 17 to the travel carrier 3.
- the bearing axis 18 is directed transversely to the driving beams 3, 4.
- a tube 20 is provided, which serves to receive a bolt 21 and a hydraulic cylinder 22.
- the axis 23 of the bolt 21 is also arranged transversely to the associated travel carrier 3, 4.
- the bolt 21 can be extended so far by means of the hydraulic cylinder 22 be that he reaches into an opening (not shown) of the hatch cover 13 and lock it in this way.
- a piston-cylinder unit 24 is used to lift the hatch cover 13 and is displaced on the one hand about half way up the lever 14 via a joint 25.
- the other side of the cylinder 24 is moved laterally of the associated carrier 3 via a further joint 26.
- the respective hatch cover 13 can be raised on the circular arc 28 by extending the piston rod 27.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for lifting and transporting heavy, essentially plate-shaped objects, in particular gantry cranes for lifting and transporting hatch covers on ships, with a portal that can be moved on rails on both sides of the plate-shaped objects, and several that interact with the portal, for locking or relocation the drivers provided for the respective object and at least one lifting device.
On-board gantry cranes (gantries) often have the task of lifting heavy hatch covers with weights of 100 t and more and stacking them over a closed hatch. Solutions in the form of a portal-type deck crane with hanging hydraulic cylinders which raise the load via the ring surfaces of the cylinder are generally known. The latching of the cylinders in corresponding devices on the hatch cover and the absorption of the horizontal forces by trimming or heeling in connection with the acceleration forces that occur is difficult and complex.
The
From DE-PS 10 53 964 an apparatus for lifting and moving parts of a hatch cover on inland vessels is known. The device consists of a lifting gear that can be connected to the part of the hatch cover that is to be lifted and that rolls on a mounting rail that runs in the longitudinal direction along the hatch filling on each side of the ship. As a hoist, a gallows-shaped crane arranged on opposite sides of the hatch, which runs with its foot in a known manner on a mounting rail arranged on deck or in the vicinity of the hatch sill, points with its operating side to the hatch and at about half height with one horizontal force-absorbing guide roller is provided, which runs in a support rail attached to the upper edge of the hatch. A device is suitable for lifting and moving particularly heavy hatch covers, particularly those that are large in the longitudinal direction of the ship, in which each lifting device consists of two crane gallows braced together. A disadvantage of such a device is that after the respective hatch cover has been lifted, problems in handling are formed in such a way that the horizontal forces which are formed by trimming, heeling and accelerating forces can hardly be introduced into the supporting structure by this device, unless it is because that the entire storage (vertical and horizontal rollers) is stiffened so that it is able to absorb the corresponding forces. Such a measure would make the entire facility much heavier and more difficult to use. In addition, with such a device, corresponding eyes or the like must be welded onto the hatch cover so that a corresponding lifting can be achieved at all by means of the gallows. If there are only recesses in the side areas, this device can no longer be used.
The invention has for its object to develop a device described in the generic part of the first claim to the extent that it is able to safely accommodate hatch covers of various shapes and weights without any movement of the respective Hatch covers, which are generated by the movement of the ship or the movement of the portal, adversely affect the construction.
This object is achieved according to the characterizing part of the first claim by at least two levers which are arranged on the side of the objects on the respective carrier of the portals and are mounted on one side and are provided in the area of their free ends with carriers which can be moved in the direction of the objects, each lever being connected by means of a outside of the driver on the lever engaging lifting device is pivotable about its bearing on the chassis.
Advantageous further developments of the subject matter of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
In the proposed solution, four levers (two each on one side) are preferably arranged on the travel beams of a gantry crane or gantry in such a way that one side of the levers is connected to the travel beam via two bearings. The other side of the lever has a hydraulically or pneumatically extendable bolt that engages in a corresponding opening on the hatch. The opening can be formed by a recess in the side surfaces of the hatch cover or by a welded eye. A hydraulic cylinder pushes the pin side of the lever up to the maximum stack height, which can be between 2 and 3 m. The hatch weight and all horizontal forces can thus be absorbed via the support bolts, bearings and hydraulic cylinders. There is no longer any movement of the plates, covers or hatch covers when lifting and moving, even when the ship is trimming or lifting.
As a rule, the hatch covers lie on the hatch in such a way that they end with their boundary edges. Here there are no problems when picking up the hatch cover to lift the hatch cover with this device, which describes a circular arc when lifting.
However, if the hatch cover is arranged within the hatch in such a way that it closes with the end face of the hatch, a linear vertical lifting of the hatch cover can be achieved by targeted movement of the portal in conjunction with a simultaneous lifting process.
In order to ensure uniform actuation of the hydraulic cylinders, these are acted upon uniformly by a central control unit.
The invention is not only applicable to so-called gantries, i.e. On-board cranes, straightened, there is also the possibility of using this gantry crane on land and using it to lift and transport heavy and heaviest loads that cannot otherwise be handled by other cranes.
