Die gestapelten Platten werden durch seitlich angesetzte und mit Dichtmasse verklebte Kunststoff-Formteile zu einem Paket geformt auf Abstand zueinander gehalten. Einerseits sind diese Platten jedoch sehr teuer hinsichtlich des verwendeten Werkstof fes (Aluminium) und hinsichtlich ihrer Herstellung. Eine derartige Konstruktion ermöglicht eine automatische Herstellung der Platten aus Kunststoff-Spritzteilen und das automatische Auflegen von Kunststoff-Folien und deren Verbindung zu den Rahmen. Dies würde bedeuten, im Herstellungsprozeß für eine derartige Platte die Folien in das Spritzwerkzeug einzulegen, bevor der Kunststoff-Rahmen gespritzt ist. Abweichend vom Beispiel der Fig. 3 können die Kunststoff-Folien aber auch getrennt für jede Kondensationsfläche vorliegen.The

Eine solche mechanische Verbindung läßt sich durch Einspannen der übereinander gestapelten Seitenwangen und Abstandsleisten erzielen. Da zum mechanischen Schutz der obersten und der untersten Folien eines gefügten Plattenpakets an seiner Oberseite und an seiner Unterseite vorteilhafterweise je eine Kunststoff-Deckplatte mit Abstand zur nächsten gestapelten Platte vorgesehen ist, könnte ein solches Plattenpaket für die mechanische Verbindung der Platten untereinander durch wenigstens zwei das Paket umschlingende Spannbänder zusammengehalten sein. Der Abstand der zusätzlichen Kunststoff-Deckplatte an der Oberseite sollte dann durch eigene Abstandsleisten eingehalten werden. Eine solche vorgereckte, sogenannte Schrumpffolie würde diesen Effekt vermeiden, weil sie sich bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme des Kondensators durch die eingebrachte Wärme selbsttätig spannt.
