The invention relates to tights according to the preamble of claim 1.

The invention relates in particular to a women's tights and is therefore explained in more detail below with reference to this subject. The invention preferably relates to seamless women's tights. These women's tights according to the invention can have an upper part, the knitted fabric of which differs from that of the leg lengths in order to achieve a laundry-like character.

The women's fine tights according to the invention are made from two stockings which have a knitted top. Insofar as they consist of fully synthetic raw materials, they are generally shaped, ie plasticized, after washing using heat, moisture and pressure. After cooling, the now dimensionally stable upper part is cut and sewn together along the cut edges. In general roll seams are used for this because the knitting of the knitted fabric is too complex.

Such tights are known per se. The incisions in the upper parts are made in a straight line from top to bottom and therefore cut the rows of stitches essentially at a right angle. As a result, the seam is guided in the shortest possible way, which has an advantageous effect on the further production effort. The seam then runs vertically downwards from the waistband of the tights through the crotch and on the back from the crotch vertically up to the waistband.

Since the seam divides the wearer's belly and buttocks in the middle, it has aesthetic and technical disadvantages. Such a seam is particularly noticeable as a rolled seam. That alone is perceived as less aesthetic. Since the seam is less elastic than the surrounding knitted fabric, the stitches on the left and right of the seam increase due to the transverse stretch that occurs when the tights are worn. This easily creates the impression of holes, which is also perceived as unattractive. When sewing the tops together, it can not always be achieved that the transverse edges of the federal government are aligned in the tights. Such tights leave a particularly unfavorable impression. With patterned tops, the seam prevents the left and right halves from fitting together. Horizontal lines of the pattern appear on the abdomen and buttocks of the wearer. This makes it necessary to manufacture such tights from two different stockings, which makes production difficult.

The middle seam of well-known women's fine tights also affects the comfort of the wearer due to their inelasticity. Especially on the abdomen of the wearer, the seam is perceived as uncomfortable and can leave reddened impressions on the skin. In women with pregnancy or with surgical scars, such tights are considered harmful and are therefore often rejected. These properties of the center seam also arise in the crotch. If they are to be mitigated there, a gusset must be sewn in specifically for this purpose.

The invention has for its object to provide a pair of tights, in particular women's tights of the type mentioned, which enables novel patterns and has improved wearing properties.

The invention solves this problem with the features of claim 1. Further features of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The incisions made in the two upper parts according to the invention ensure that the seam is lengthened due to its oblique course. This significantly improves the elasticity of the seam. For this reason, the seam on the wearer's body smoothes and follows the contours of the body, ie it loses its meandering shape. It is also achieved by the invention that the stitch rows left and right of the seam remain unaffected because the seam is elastic enough to prevent the opening of the stitches on the body of the wearer. The unsightly holes on both sides of the seam are eliminated. The wearing properties of such a women's tights are therefore significantly improved. Practically, the seam is no longer felt by the wearer. Pregnant women and wearers with a sensitive abdominal wall can easily wear the new tights. Even if no gussets are provided, such tights can be worn on the bare skin without leaving any impressions on the skin or soreness in the crotch.

The invention also has the advantage that it removes the seam from the immediate field of vision and significantly improves the aesthetic impression of the tights due to the novel seam course. In particular, it does not significantly interfere with the overall impression of the tights even when the waistband parts are not exactly aligned.

The invention is preferably designed with the features of claim 2. This ensures that all courses of the knitted fabric are crossed through the incisions at angles other than orthogonal. This ensures the desired increased elasticity and the cohesion of the knitted fabric on the wearer's skin on all sections of the seam.

The embodiment according to claim 3 conveys particularly favorable wearing properties. Here, the seam runs on the front in a natural fold and from there over a relatively insensitive body part, namely a hip, as a result of which the front of the tights on the abdominal area of the wearer is completely smooth. The seam runs on the back accordingly and hits the waistband on the front after it has been passed a short distance over the hip bone.

The invention has a particularly favorable effect on women's fine tights which have a pattern in the tops of their stockings, which pattern then appears on the front and / or the back.
