Bei einem WC-Installationsbaustein muß die Schürze der Normbelastung (ca 400kg) des wandhän­ genden WC standhalten. Ausreichende Festigkeit konnte man bisher nur mit entsprechend großer Schürzendicke erzielen. Der zwischen Bausteinvorderfläche und Abwasser-Ablaufbogen zur Verfügung stehende Raum ist jedoch begrenzt. Trotz größerer Schürzendicke besteht die Gefahr des Ausbrechens insbesondere im Bereich der Befestigungsanschlüsse und an den Kanten. Sie erstreckt sich im wesentlichen über die gesamte Breite und Höhe der Schürze, und sie ist zweckmäßig aus Profil­trägern aufgebaut. Die erfindungsgemäße Schürze kann auf­grund dieser Metallarmierung wesentlich dünner ausgebildet werden als bisherige geschäumte Schürzen, nämlich ca 15mm dick anstatt bisher 22-25mm.
