Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a nozzle arrangement for a gas burner that can be used in gas hobs, with a gas supply pipe, a mixing pipe, and a nozzle and a gas chamber.
There are essentially two types known for mixture preparation in gas burners. In the first system, primary air is added directly to the actuator, e.g. the gas tap or the thermostat. In the other system, the primary air is mixed in before the burner. In the first system, a large-volume feed pipe leads to the gas burner, because a gas-air mixture must be led to the burner in this pipe. In the other system, the gas nozzle is arranged in a separate nozzle assembly, so that the tube between the actuator and the gas burner has a comparatively small cross section, since only pure gas is conveyed. In the comparison of the two systems for mixture preparation, there are one Inexpensive nozzle arrangement with a comparatively complex supply line and, on the other hand, a complex nozzle arrangement, but compared to a comparatively simple and therefore more cost-effective supply line.
The object of the invention is to maintain the advantages of the two systems, but to avoid their disadvantages.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the gas feed pipe which extends into the region of the gas burner carries in its end section an attached gas nozzle which in turn carries the mixing pipe upstream of the gas burner flame region. The mixing tube has a mixing chamber which acts as an injector and is arranged upstream of the mixing tube towards the gas nozzle. The mixing chamber of the mixing tube is placed on the gas nozzle; the mixing tube is connected to the gas burner feed tube designed as an expansion tube or is combined with the latter. At least one air slot is arranged in the mixing chamber of the mixing tube, so that the gas emerging from the nozzle combines with the air stream flowing in through the air slot and mixes in the mixing chamber, this mixture then flowing into the burner capsule through an expansion tube that widens toward the gas burner . For safety reasons, the jacket of the gas supply pipe is sealed off from the gas nozzle. It is not necessary to seal the mixing chamber from the nozzle, since a vacuum is created when the gas escapes from the nozzle. The mixing chamber of the mixing tube can be connected to the gas nozzle by means of known fastening elements. The construction of the gas burner according to the invention, in particular in connection with the preferably selected fastening measures between the gas pipe, nozzle and mixing chamber, opens up the possibility of adapting the gas burner for different types of gas by simply changing the nozzle.
The nozzle arrangement according to the invention is simple in its design and thus inexpensive to manufacture, and operational reliability is also guaranteed.
