Abstract

The invention relates to a device for fitting ski bindings in which the clamp body is detachably secured to the upper side of a ski by means of screws. In order to ensure that the clamp body is securely fixed on the ski without reducing the flexibility of the ski itself, the invention provides for the incorporation in the body of the ski (103) of a securing plate (101) with several threaded bushes (102) to take the threaded parts of the securing screws (106).

Description

The invention relates to a device for assembling ski bindings according to the preamble of one of the claims 1, 3, 4 and 5.

Various devices of this type have already been proposed, but none of them have proven successful. For example, the device according to DE-OS 26 13 387 has the disadvantage that the fastening elements for the plate carrying the jaw body are arranged on the top of the ski and can therefore be easily damaged when the jaw body is removed or the ski binding is removed.

According to DE-OS 23 59 489, a base plate for a ski binding is fastened to a ski by means of retaining screws. Each retaining screw is screwed into a retaining element, which is permanently and non-rotatably connected to the base plate. The ski binding can therefore already be provided with the retaining screws in the factory and then transported and sold together with these. However, there is a risk that the retaining screws will loosen after the ski binding is assembled under heavy loads and then be torn out of its anchors.

From the introduction of AT-PS 288 929 it appears that the proposal has already been made to equip a plastic ski with a metal reinforcement plate running over its entire width and part of its length. In this there are threaded bores, which are aligned with bores in the ski body and into which fastening screws for ski bindings can be screwed.

If the reinforcement plate is thin, there is a risk of the fastening screws being torn out. However, if it is thick, the weight of the ski is increased considerably, which is undesirable. In addition, the elastic properties of the ski are adversely affected by the reinforcement plate.

Laschen angeordnet, welche in entsprechende Löcher bzw. Another version of a connecting device for releasably holding the binding to a ski is in DE-OS 28 06 403. In this embodiment, pins or tabs projecting obliquely downwards are arranged on the underside of the two jaw bodies or on a plate which is firmly connected to a jaw body and engage in corresponding holes or recesses in the ski. The holes can be lined with slotted tubes which rest resiliently on the pins. However, resilient parts can also be arranged in the pins, which prevent the pins from inadvertently sliding out of the bores.

This design has the disadvantage that the pins or tabs bend slightly when the binding is used roughly and then can no longer be inserted into the holes or recesses.

This makes it easy to put the plate on a ski, especially since the screws in the ski only have to be loosened, but not unscrewed. However, this device is not suitable for a longitudinal adjustment of the ski binding. Before mounting the plate, the screws protrude from the top of the ski, which should be avoided according to the invention, since the screws are not tightened and can therefore sometimes be lost during transport.

According to DE-OS 23 63 562 according to Figures 1 to 6 plates are mounted on the top of the ski, which protrude beyond the top of the ski. In the embodiments according to FIGS. 7 to 13, mounting parts are installed in the body of the ski, but locking screws are required in all exemplary embodiments in order to prevent the jaws from rotating or being displaced in the longitudinal direction of the ski. The use of these locking screws slows down the assembly and disassembly of the ski binding.

The invention has for its object to eliminate the disadvantages of the known designs and devices create, which should allow a quick mounting of the ski binding on the ski and possibly also a quick removal of the ski binding from the ski by simplified actuation of the fastening elements.

Starting from a device according to the preamble of one of claims 1, 3, 4 and 5, this object is achieved according to the invention primarily by the features of the characterizing part of the claim associated with this preamble.

The solution according to claim 1 requires the use of a tool such as e.g. a screwdriver or a coin, but according to the design of the fastening elements according to the invention, this tool can only be pivoted by approximately 90 ° in order to bring about the assembly or disassembly of the ski binding. thus the simplified actuation of the fasteners is guaranteed.

In the embodiment according to the invention according to claim 3, a stepwise longitudinal adjustment of the jaw is made possible in addition to the quick assembly or disassembly.

By the subject of claim 4, the fastening process is reduced to the twisting of a single bolt.

Claim 5 relates to a simplified embodiment, wherein components which are located in the interior of the ski are also used in this case for fastening the plate. Here, a quick assembly without tools is possible. Since such solutions are mainly used for cheap models, disassembly is not necessary in this case.

In an embodiment according to the invention, the measures according to claim 2 additionally allow the jaw body to be mounted in different positions relative to the ski. In addition, the power transmission between the opposing teeth of racks and from the locking element in a plane parallel to the top of the ski, which reduces the stress on the ski body.

Schließlich verbessern die Merkmale des Anspruches 6 bei den erfindungsgemäßen Ausgestaltungen nach den Ansprüchen 1,3,4 und 5 die Verankerung der einzelnen Aufnahmeteile im Ski.Finally, the features of claim 6 improve the anchoring of the individual receiving parts in the ski in the embodiments according to claims 1, 3, 4 and 5.

In a second embodiment, FIGS. 3-6 show in the diagram a view of the plate from below, a top view of the ski, a cross section through the assembled jaw body and a bolt. In a third embodiment, FIGS. 7 and 8 show in the diagram a view of the plate from below and a top view of the ski. In a fourth embodiment, FIGS. 9 to 11 show in the diagram a view of the plate from below, a top view of the ski and a detail in some cases. on average. 12 is a variant of the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 to 6. FIGS. 13 and 14 illustrate a fifth embodiment in the diagram in the view of the plate from below and in the top view of the ski. 15 shows a cross section through the ski in the region of a receiving part.

In the assembly device 200 according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a jaw body 205 is fastened on a plate 204. This carries on its underside three pins 208 which, in the vertical longitudinal center plane of the jaw body 205, etc. are arranged at the beginning, in the longitudinal center and at the end of the plate 204. Furthermore, four pairs of resilient tongues 209, which end in hooks 209a, are arranged on the underside of the plate 204. The undersides of these hooks 209a of a pair of tongues 209 are chamfered in a roof shape.

In the ski 203 there are receiving parts 203a in which a cylindrical hole 210 and two elongated holes 211 are cut out are. In other receiving parts 203b in the ski, rectangular holes 212 are recessed, which widen towards the inside of the ski 203 in the form of a step.

During assembly, the jaw body 205 located on the plate 204 is pressed against the top of the ski 203. The pins 208 first engage in the hole 210 and in the two elongated holes 211, and the resilient tongues 209 come to rest on the opposite edges of the rectangular holes 212. If the installer increases the contact pressure on the plate 204, the resilient tongues 209 of each pair are pressed against one another, and the hooks 209a enter the interior of the holes 212. The hooks 209a engage behind the step 212a of the holes 212, and the jaw body 205 is fastened to the ski 203.

In the embodiment of an assembly device 300 shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, four receiving parts 303a are arranged in the ski 303, in which elliptical holes 310 are recessed in the plan view. These are provided with a step. The major axes of the ellipses run in the longitudinal direction of the ski. In the bores of the plate 304 of the jaw body 305 there are four bolts 313 which consist of a slotted head 313a, a shaft 313b and an approximately elliptical plate 313c attached to the latter. This plate 313c corresponds to the cross section of an elliptical hole 310.

During assembly, the plate 304 with the jaw body 305 is first placed on the ski 303. The plates 313c of the bolts 313 penetrate the holes 310, after which each plate 313c is located below the step 310a in the hole 310. The bolts 313 are then turned by approximately 90 ° using a screwdriver. The outer surface of the plate 313c can clamp on the perforated wall below the step 310a.

The assembly device 600 shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 has bolts 626 with a top view rectangular nuts 626a, the latter having toothed ribs on their upper sides. T-shaped recesses 616 are formed in the receiving parts 603a formed in the ski 603, as seen in the top view of the top of the ski. These cutouts 616 have toothed strips 616a on both sides of the longitudinal bar of the "T", the teeth of which are directed towards the tread of the ski. At the rear end of the plate 604 there is a rotatably mounted pin 613, as has already been described in connection with the mounting device 300, and which can engage in a slot 627 provided with a step in a receiving part 603b in the ski 603. This embodiment enables a longitudinal adjustment of the plate 604 relative to the ski 603 in accordance with the length of the toothed strips 616a during assembly.

The design of a mounting device 700 according to FIGS. 9 to 11 represents a further development of the mounting device 300 according to FIGS. 3 to 6, since a longitudinal adjustment of the plate 704 relative to the ski 703 is also possible here. For this purpose, the holes which are elliptical in plan view in the mounting device 300 are formed as elongated holes 728 in the present embodiment, and in the ski 703 there is a further receiving part 703b in which a recess 729a laterally delimited by two racks 729 is arranged. This recess 729a is associated with a latching member 730, which is fastened to the underside of the plate 704 carrying the jaw body 705. Since the racks 729 are longer than the locking member 730, the jaw body 705 can be mounted in different positions relative to the ski 703. In this embodiment, too, the assembly is carried out by turning the bolts 713 by approximately 90 °, which engage under the steps 710a in the elongated holes 728 by means of their plates 713c.

The assembly device 1000 according to FIG. 12 represents a further variant of the assembly device 300 according to FIGS. 3 to 6. The device 1000 differs from the latter only in that in the receiving parts 1003a of the ski 1003, instead of cylindrical bores, elongated holes 1032 are recessed, in which bolts are guided, as have already been described in connection with FIGS. 3 to 6.

The device 1100 according to FIGS. 13 and 14 is particularly simple insofar as it only has two fixing points, namely a T-shaped projection 1114 attached to the underside of the plate 1104, which projects downwards, and a bolt 1113 which is attached to the device carries a rectangular plate 1113c at its end. In the receiving parts 1103a of the ski 1103, two elongated holes 1132 are cut out, each of which is provided with a step 1132a.

When the device 1100 is assembled, the plate 1104 is placed on the ski 1103 rotated by 90 ° with respect to the longitudinal axis of the ski, so that the extension 1114 engages in the front elongated hole 1132. Then the plate 1104 is pivoted back through 90 °, so that the pin 1113 comes to rest over the rear elongated hole 1132. Now the rectangular plate 1113c of the bolt 1113 is inserted into the rear elongated hole 1132. The plate 1104 can now be moved along the ski 1103. As soon as the desired position of the jaw body 1105 has been reached, the bolt 1113 is rotated through 90 ° by means of a screwdriver and the plate 1104 is thereby fixed relative to the ski 1103.

Since the receiving parts 203a to 1103a are exposed to great stresses in all versions, it is expedient to provide each receiving part with lateral ribs. These can have a rectangular cross section, as shown for the rib 703c in FIG. 11. However, they can also have a sawtooth-like cross-section (see Fig. 15). In this case, it is advisable to arrange two mutually opposite ribs 203d on both sides of the receiving part.

The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments described above and shown in the drawing. For example, the bolts that have an elliptical or rectangular plate at their end can also be replaced by bolts with a nut that is rectangular in plan view.
