Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for the electrical connection of shields multipole a female connector having a plug with the ground potential layer of a plurality of, perpendicular to it standing contact knife containing wiring board, the spring elements provided on the shields are arranged so that they are resilient in the inserted state of the plug with Earth potential layer of the wiring plate contact conductively connected contact blades.
  • Such a device is e.g. B. is known from European patent application EP-A-0 203 404.
  • This known device has the disadvantage that either no shielding takes place, or the shielding takes place over the length of the entire female connector housing.
  • Another disadvantage of the known device is that only one shielding potential can be used per female connector.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset which enables partial shielding with different shielding potentials.
  • the shields per plug consist of a solder-side and / or a component-side, angled shield plate, that shield plate hooks are attached to the individual shield plates on their side edges pointing in the direction of the wiring plate, which in the inlet funnel of the outer spring chambers of the female connector housing can be snapped in, while press-in pins are arranged on the side edges of the angled part, by means of which the shield plates with an existing one on the wiring plate Earth potential layer can be connected so that the shield plates in the area of the contact blades have outwardly curved spring areas which are separated from one another by slots and run parallel to the contact blades and which contact the individual shield plates with the contact blades, and that the length of the shield plates is one or multiple lengths of one Individual segment of the female connector corresponds.
  • shielding can take place both over the entire length of the female connector housing and only over individual segments or modules of the female connector housing. Furthermore, depending on the required degree of shielding, either the component side or the solder side or both sides can be shielded together on the female connector housing. Since it is possible to shield individual segments which are separated from one another in the device according to the invention, different shielding potentials can also be used.
  • the shields per plug consist of a solder-side and / or a component-side, angled shield plate, press-fit pins being attached to the side edges of the angled part, by means of which the shield plates are provided with one on the wiring board Earth potential layer can be connected in such a way that the shield plates contact in the area of the contact blades with spring arrangements that are curved outwards, separated by slots and fastened on the contact blades, and that the length of the shield plates and the spring arrangements correspond to the single or multiple lengths of a single segment of the female connector housing.
  • shielding can take place both over the entire length of the female connector housing and only over individual segments or modules of the female connector housing. Farther Depending on the required degree of shielding, either the component side or the solder side or both sides can be shielded together on the female connector housing. Since shielding of individual, separate segments is possible in the connection according to the invention, different shielding potentials can also be used.
  • An advantageous embodiment of the device according to the invention is characterized in that the shield plates have openings in the area lying parallel to the assembly circuit board. These additionally provided openings in the shield plates allow the hooking or connecting of further shield plates with which the entire assembly or parts thereof can be shielded.
  • a further advantageous embodiment of the device according to the invention is characterized in that the shield plates have latching means for latching on the side of the female connector housing facing the assembly circuit board. This reliably prevents the shield plates from detaching during a plugging or pulling process.
  • 1 shows a section through a device for the electrical connection of shields of multi-pole plugs to the ground potential layer of a wiring board according to claim 1.
  • 1 shows a wiring board 1 with contact blades 7, a centering strip 2 being arranged on the wiring board 1.
  • a female connector 6 is inserted, which is connected to an assembly circuit board 3.
  • the shielding function for the female connector 6 on the assembly is achieved in that shield plates 4 and 5 are mounted.
  • the shield plate 4 is the solder-side shield plate
  • the shield plate 5 is the component-side shield plate.
  • either the component side or the solder side or both sides can be provided with shielding plates.
  • FIGS. 2 to 5 Detailed illustrations of the shield plates 4 and 5 are contained in FIGS. 2 to 5. 3 and 5 shield plates are shown with the length of a module of the female connector or the female connector housing 6. However, the length of the shield plates (not shown here) can be a full line multiple of this basic length up to the total length of the female connector housing 6.
  • the shield plates 4 and 5 are fastened several times.
  • the individual shield plates 4 and 5 are provided with shield plate hooks on their side edges pointing in the direction of the wiring board 1.
  • These shielding sheet hooks 8 engage in inlet funnels 9 from outer spring chambers of the female connector 6.
  • Press-fit pins 12 are attached to the side edges of the angled part of the shield plates, by means of which the shield plates 4 and 5 are connected to the assembly circuit board.
  • the electrical connection of the shielding plates to the assembly circuit board takes place here by means of a tried-and-tested press-in technique in which the press-in pins have an elastic press-in region.
  • the press-in pins of the two shield plates interlock like a comb.
  • the shield plates 4 and 5 are held on the side of the female connector housing 6 facing the component circuit board 3 by means of latching means, such as latching tongues 10 for the solder-side shield plate 4 and latching hooks 11 for the component-side shield plate 5. This ensures security against unintentional detachment of the shield plates 4 and 5 during a plugging or pulling process.
  • the contacting of the shield plates 4 and 5 with the contact blades 7 takes place via the spring areas 13 separated by slots 14. These spring areas 13 are produced in that this area is milled thinner during the manufacturing process and is pre-bent in a further operation.
  • the arched spring areas 13 of the shield plates 4 and 5, which are separated by the slots 14, enable independent electrical connections to the contact blades 7, which in turn are connected to the ground potential of the wiring board 1 via plated-through holes.
  • Breakthroughs 16 additionally provided on the shield plates 4 and 5 allow the hooking in or connection of further shield plates with which the entire assembly or parts thereof can be shielded.
  • the female connector housings are designed from the outset so that they can be retrofitted with shield plates at any time.
  • FIG. 6 shows a section through a device for the electrical connection of shields of multipole plugs to the ground potential layer of a wiring board according to claim 2.
  • the figure also shows a wiring board 1 with contact blades 7, a centering bar 2 being arranged on the wiring board 1.
  • a centering bar 2 Inserted into this centering strip 2 is a female connector housing 6, which is connected to an assembly circuit board 3.
  • the shielding function for the female connector on the assembly is achieved in that shielding plates 17 and 18 are mounted.
  • the shield plate 17 is the solder-side shield plate
  • the shield plate 18 is the component-side shield plate.
  • either the component side or the solder side or the two sides can be provided with shielding plates on the female connector.
  • FIGS. 7 and 8 Further illustrations of the shield plates 17 and 18 are contained in FIGS. 7 and 8.
  • the shield plates 17 and 18 can be fastened in different ways known to the person skilled in the art, which are not to be shown here.

  • the electrical connection of the shield plates to the assembly circuit board is carried out here using a tried-and-tested press-in technique, in which the press-in pins have an elastic press-in region.
  • the contacting of the shield plates 17 and 18 with the contact blades 7 takes place via spring arrangements separated by slots 20 22.
  • These spring assemblies 22 have spring tongues which are curved outwards and come into contact with the shield plates, and are fastened to the contact blades 7.
  • the attachment can e.g. B. by plugging or by clamping.
  • the length of the spring arrangement as well as the length of the shield plates corresponds either to the single or multiple length of a single segment of the female connector housing.
