Abstract

A profile frame (1) comprises a profile insert (2) which rests on the profile frame (1) by a support surface (9), and is provided with a tab (12) which penetrates into a longitudinal groove ( 11) C-shaped profile frame. The tab (12) comprises a stop face (13) perpendicular to the bearing surface (9) of the profiled insert (2) which rests on a wall (10) undercut limiting the longitudinal groove (11) of the profiled frame. The tab (12) removably engages, with a snap bar (14) and associated elastic studs (18), in the free edge of a second wall (16) undercut opposite to the first wall (10) limiting the longitudinal groove (11) of the profiled frame. In order to avoid hindering the glazing work, the elastic clips (18) are connected to the profile insert (2) and not to the profile frame (1) itself and can thus be fitted without problems in the profile frame ( 1), or if necessary removed from it, clamped in the profile insert. For this purpose, the elastic clips (18), which at least partially surround the snap bars (14) of the tab (12) by their insertion end, are inverted in a snap groove (17) which extends along the tab (12) and have, above the latching bar (14), resilient tabs (20) shaped which rest under prestress on the free edge (15) of the second wall ( 16) Undercut limitation of the groove.

Description

Rahmenprofil mit EinsatzprofilFrame profile with insert profile
The invention relates to a frame profile with an insert profile, which is supported with a support surface on the frame profile and has a foot part projecting into a C-shaped frame profile groove, this foot part having an essentially perpendicular to the support surface of the insert profile Directional abutting surface rests on a first undercut groove limiting web of the frame professional longitudinal groove and detachably engages under the free edge of a second undercut groove limiting web of the frame professional longitudinal groove opposite the first groove limiting web with a latching strip by means of this associated elastic holder.
A known frame profile of this type can be found in DE-PS 15 09 900. The two-winged elastic holder shown there has a glass recording the frame profile. Base plate coming into contact, from which extends a cantilever arm extending under tension in a longitudinal groove of the insert profile. According to the description of DE-PS 15 09 900, the base plate should serve to support the glass pane and, in so far, prevent its contact with the metal.
As the practical application of the above-mentioned elastic holder has meanwhile shown, its upwardly inclined arm disturbs the glazing work so much that it does not insert as intended before the glazing is attached, but only afterwards in the C-groove of the frame profile leaves. Thus the known holder loses some of the intended supporting effect of the glass pane and on the other hand makes it even necessary to push it under the glass pane after the glazing in cumbersome handling in order to be able to fix it in the frame profile. In the case of preassembled insert profiles, this also means that all holders must first be removed from the frame profile at the start of the glazing work, which harbors the risk of getting lost on the construction site and represents an additional assembly effort.
With regard to the disadvantages that have arisen, it is the would be the invention to make a frame profile available, in which the elastic holder to avoid obstruction of the glazing work instead of the frame profile itself is assigned to its insert profile and thus, in the clamped state, can be used together with the latter in the frame profile or if necessary have it removed. This also ensures that they are always used in the correct number and arrangement specified on the production side, which in turn ensures the required firm fit of the insert profile in the frame profile. In addition, the material required for the elastic holder should be markedly reduced.
The construction proposed to achieve the object is characterized by the claims. Accordingly, according to the main feature of the newly developed frame profile, the elastic holders at least partially enclose the locking bar of the foot part at its insertion end in a locking groove running longitudinally in the foot part and have them formed on the upper side of the locking bar and pretensioned on the free edge supporting tongues of the second undercut groove limiting web. Further developments of the invention then serve to perfect the object of the application in terms of its mode of operation and in terms of assembly. Embodiments of the subject of the application are shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawings on profile cross sections and are described below.
As can be seen from the figures, the frame profile 1 is each equipped with an insert profile 2. This insert profile 2 is intended for holding an insulating glass pane 3, for which purpose sealing profiles 6 and 7 are inserted between its free legs 4 and between the free legs of the frame profile 1 and the insulating glass pane 3. In addition, the insulating glass pane 3 is wedged with wooden supports 8 relative to the frame profile 1.
To fasten the insert profile 2 to the frame profile 1, this is supported on the one hand with a contact surface 9 on the first undercut groove limitation eg 10 of a C-shaped frame professional groove 11 and on the other hand has a foot part 12 protruding into the frame professional groove 11. The latter rests on the first undercut groove limiting web 10 of the frame professional longitudinal groove 11 with a butt surface 13 directed at right angles to the support surface 9 and furthermore engages under a free edge 15 of the second groove limiting web 16 opposite the first groove limiting web 10 with a locking bar 14. In order to releasably anchor the base part 12 of the insert profile 2 in the frame professional longitudinal groove 11, elastic holders 18 with a latching bead 19, preferably made of plastic, are inserted into a longitudinally extending latching groove 17 on its underside. These elastic holders 18 enclose the latching strip 14 of the foot part 12 at their insertion end, and spring tongues 20 molded onto them on the upper side of the latching strip 14 are supported under pretension on the free edge 15 of the second undercut groove limiting web 16. As a result, the foot part 12 is pressed with its abutment surface 13 against the contact edge 21 of the first groove-limiting web 10 after insertion into the frame profile longitudinal groove 11 and, after the sealing profile 6 has subsequently been inserted, cannot come loose again by itself. In FIG. 1, locking pins 22, which extend from the latching bead 19 of the elastic holder 18 under the contact edge 21, also serve as additional security. Instead, in the case of FIG. 2, in the region of the end face 2 of the elastic holder 18, there are clamping projections 28 from the underside thereof, which come into resilient engagement with an abutment 29 running on the groove base 23 of the frame professional groove 11. The abutment 29 can either be raised in the manner shown or also recessed as a groove. With regard to a better guidance of the foot part 12 when inserted into the frame professional groove 11, the elastic holders 18 are provided with stop cams 24 directed towards the groove base 23 of the frame professional groove 11, the distance from the end face 25 facing the second groove limiting web 16 elastic holder 18 is only slightly smaller than the opening dimension of the frame professional longitudinal groove 11. This makes it possible to initially place the insert profile 2 on the first groove-limiting web 10 at the start of its installation in such a way that the stop cams 24 abut against its contact edge 21. Subsequently, the insert profile 2 is tilted slightly towards the insulating glass pane 3 and can now slide under the free edge 15 of the second groove-limiting web 16 with the elastic holders 18 enclosing the latching strip 14 of the foot part 12. This process can also be supported by the fact that the first groove limiting web 10 has a head slope 26 which is inclined in the direction of insertion of the foot part 12 into the frame professional groove 11. If this head slope 26 also has steps 27, as in the frame profile 1 described, successive preliminary tensions of the foot part 12 in the frame professional groove 11 already occur during the insertion process, which also facilitates the assembly work.
