Abstract

In automatic washing machines, washing or rinsing can be carried out with washing or rinsing liquid enriched with a fragrance material. In order to be able to feed fragrance material into the water bath or rinsing bath in a convenient and adequate manner, the fragrance material is fed to the wash or rinsing liquid in the form of a water- soluble or water-dispersing solid containing at least 1 gram of fragrance material, namely as a tablet or capsule of appropriate size, towards the end of the wash process, namely during the last wash cycle or the final rinsing phase. A fragrance additive particularly suitable for this purpose advantageously consists of at least 1 gram of fragrance material and furthermore a water-soluble or water- dispersible, solid fragrance-dispensing body containing filler, carrier or emulsifier, for example in the form of a tablet (1) having a volume of more than 1 cm<3> and a water-tight and gas-tight enveloping layer 2 which encloses the tablet (1) on all sides and can be destroyed by hand. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Herstel­len von mit Duftstoff anzureichernder Wasch- oder Spüllauge in automatischen Waschmaschinen sowie auf ein zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens dienendes Duftstoffzugabemittel.The invention relates to a method for producing washing or rinsing liquor to be enriched with fragrance in automatic washing machines and to a fragrance addition agent used to carry out this method.

Zum Waschen von textilem Gut in automatischen Waschma­schinen ist es bekannt, dem Waschpulver in geringem Umfang Duftstoffe zuzusetzen, die nach dem Einspülen des Waschpulvers in der Waschlauge ihre Wirkung entfalten und für eine entspre­chende geruchsmäßige Verbesserung des darin befindlichen Waschguts sorgen sollen. Eine ähnliche Wirkung soll auch par­fümierte, als Spülmittel-Zusatz verwendete Avivage herbeifüh­ren. Schließlich ist es auch nicht mehr neu, mit Duftstoffen getränkte Vliese zu verwenden, die nicht nur für das Trocken­schleudern sondern auch für vorhergehende Waschgänge dem zu behandelnden Wasch- bzw. Trockengut beigelegt werden, um des­sen entsprechende Duftverbesserung herbeizuführen. In all die­sen bekannten Fällen bleibt jedoch die mit der Zugabe von Duftstoffen angestrebte Wäscheverbesserung hinter den Erwar­tungen zurück. Das liegt hauptsächlich daran, daß mit den vor­bekannten Methoden immer nur vergleichsweise wenig Duftstoff in die Wasch- oder Spüllauge gelangt und die ohnehin geringen Duftstoffmengen mit dem Wasch- oder Spülwasser rasch fortge­schwemmt bzw. ausgetragen werden, ohne ihre Wirksamkeit auf das Waschgut voll entfaltet zu haben. Hinzu kommt bei der be­ kannten Duftstoffanreicherung als weiterer Nachteil die auf­wendige Herstellung von mit solchen Duftstoffen zu durchset­zenden Waschpulvern und auch die unzureichende Konservierung der darin enthaltenen Duftstoffe. Sobald eine entsprechend ge­füllte Waschpulver-Packung angebrochen ist, können sich die darin enthaltenen Duftstoffe verflüchtigen, wodurch einerseits die Duftstoff-Konzentration im Waschpulver noch weiter zurück­geht und andererseits eine entsprechende, nicht immer als un­bedingt angenehm empfundene Geruchsbelastung der Umgebungsluft eintritt. Bei mit Duftstoffen getränkten Vliesen ist es so, daß diese einigermaßen wirkungsvoll lediglich bei mit getrenn­tem Trockenlaufgang arbeitenden Wasch- bzw. Trockenautomaten sind. Bei mit durchgehenden Wasch- und Trockenprogramm arbei­tenden Waschautomaten müßten dagegen solche duftstoffgetränk­ten Vliese in jedem Fall bereits zu Beginn des Waschprogramms dem in der Maschine vorhandenen Waschgut beigelegt werden. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, das Herstellen von mit Duftstoff anzureichernder Wasch- oder Spüllauge in au­tomatischen Waschmaschinen wesentlich zu vereinfachen und wirksamer zu gestalten. Diese Aufgabe wird nach der vorliegen­den Erfindung verfahrensmäßig dadurch gelöst, daß der Duft­stoff gegen Ende des Waschprozesses, nämlich während des letz­ten Waschganges oder der abschließenden Spülphase, der Wasch- bzw. Spüllauge in Form eines mindestens ein Gramm Duftstoff enthaltenden, wasserlöslichen oder -dispergierenden Festkör­pers, nämlich als Tablette oder Kapsel entsprechender Größe zugeführt wird. Auf diese Weise kann der Wasch- oder Spüllauge in automatischen Waschmaschinen der Duftstoff in hinreichender Menge und auf einfachste Weise zugeführt werden, indem man da­zu lediglich eine entsprechende Duftstoff-Tablette oder -Kap­sel in das entsprechende Wasch- bzw. Spülpulvervorratsfach des Waschautomaten einlegt, von wo aus die Kapsel oder Tablette mit dem in ihr in vergleichsweise hoher Konzentration enthal­tenen Duftstoff zusammen mit dem entsprechenden Wasch- bzw. Spülmittel in die Wasch- oder Spüllauge eingeschwemmt wird, so daß sich darin der in ausreichendem Umfang vorhandene Duft­stoff entfalten und sich dem Waschgut voll wirksam mitzuteilen bzw. anzulagern vermag.The invention is based, to simplify the production of fragrance-enriched washing or rinsing liquor in automatic washing machines and make it more effective. Ein zum erfindungsgemäßen Herstellen von mit Duftstoff anzureichernder Wasch- oder Spüllauge in automatischen Wasch­maschinen dienendes Duftstoffzugabemittel besteht erfindungs­gemäß aus einem mindestens 1 Gramm Duftstoff und im übrigen einen Füll-, Träger- oder Emulgierstoff enthaltenden, in Was­ser löslichen oder dispergierbaren, festen Duftstoffzugabekör­per in Tabletten- oder Kapselform von mehr als 1 cm³ Raumin­halt, der allseits von einer wasser- und gasdichten, von Hand zerstörbaren Umhüllungsschicht umschlossen ist. Ein solcher tabletten- oder kapselförmiger Duftstoffzugabekörper kann be­quem und dauerhaft aufbewahrt werden, da sein wasserlöslicher oder -dispergierbarer, den Duftstoff enthaltender Bestandteil durch die wasser- und gasdichte Umhüllungsschicht wirksam ge­schützt ist. Soll eine solche Duftstoffzugabe-Tablette oder -Kapsel der Waschmaschine zugeführt werden, so braucht dazu lediglich die Umhüllungsschicht zerstört zu werden, was von Hand leicht vorgenommen werden kann. Gleiches gilt für eine entsprechend beschaffene Duftstoffzugabe-Kapsel. Beide Duft­stoffzugabe-Festkörper sind leicht zu handhaben, da sie hin­reichend groß und damit auch gut anfaßbar sind. Das gilt ins­besondere für den Fall, daß die Duftstoffzugabe-Tabletten oder -Kapseln im bevorzugten Falle mehr als 2,5 Gramm Duftstoff enthalten und ein Mindestvolumen von 5 cm³ besitzen. Sie wird so­dann in das entsprechende Wasch- bzw. Ebenso wie Arznei-Tabletten können auch die Duftstoffzugabe-Tabletten 1 in den Aufnahme­vertiefungen 7 der Durchdrücktafel 8 dauerhaft geschützt auf­bewahrt werden. Für den Fall der Ingebrauchnahme einer Tablet­te braucht dazu lediglich durch leichten Druck auf die Unter­seite der zugehörigen Aufnahmevertiefung 7 die Tablette 1 et­was nach oben gedrückt zu werden, wobei die Aluminiumfolie 9 an der entsprechenden Stelle aufreißt und die Tablette 1 ohne weiteres entnommen werden kann, ohne daß dadurch die übrigen Tabletten 1 in ihrer geschützten Unterbringungs- und Aufbewah­rungsart beeinträchtigt werden.For the storage and shipping of the fragrance addition tablets 1, the sales pack 6 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is recommended. Diese kann wie im Falle der Fig.1 und 2 aus zwei in der Äquatorialebene 3 miteinander ver­schweißten Folienhälften bestehen und eine Aufreißlinie 5 be­sitzen. Verfahren zum Herstellen von mit Duftstoff anzureichern­der Wasch- oder Spüllauge in automatischen Waschmaschi­nen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Duftstoff gegen Ende des Waschprozesses, nämlich während des letzten Waschganges oder der abschließenden Spülpha­se, der Wasch- bzw. Spüllauge in Form eines mindestens ein Gramm Duftstoff enthaltenden, wasserlöslichen oder -dispergierenden Festkörpers, nämlich als Tablette oder Kapsel entsprechender Größe zugeführt wird.1.
