Claims (6)

  1. Preliminary profile girder for section steel rolling, which has a centre web (1a) which is enlarged at a generating angle of 2α of 40° to 90° to respective lateral thickened portions (1b), characterised thereby that the end faces of the thickened portions (1b) have a recess (1d) extending in longitudinal direction of the preliminary profile.
  2. Continuous casting plant for the casting of a preliminary profile girder for section steel rolling according to claim 1, wherein a chill mould consists of two side walls (4, 5) and two end walls (7, 8), each side wall (4, 5) has a web surface (4a, 5a), two widening-out surfaces (4b, 5b) inclined at an angle of 20° to 45° relative to the web surfaces (4a, 5a) and two thickened portion surfaces (4c, 5c), and a guide for the continuous casting is arranged downstream of the chill mould, characterised thereby that the end walls (7, 8), each provided with a projection (7a, 8a) in the mould space, are adjustably arranged between oppositely disposed thickened portion surfaces (4c, 5c).
  3. Continuous casting plant according to claim 2, characterised thereby that continuous casting guide rollers (11, 12, 13) are arranged downstream of the web surfaces (4a, 5a), widening-out surfaces (4b, 5b) and thickened portion surfaces (4c, 5c), and guide elements (15, 18), which are adjustable in the same sense, are arranged downstream of the adjustable end walls (7, 8).
  4. Continuous casting plant according to claims 2 and 3, characterised thereby that the web guide rollers (11) and end guide rollers (13) are arranged in alternating sequence with the widening-out rollers (12).
  5. Continuous casing plant according to claims 2 and 3, characterised thereby that guide elements (15 or 18) arranged downstream of the end walls have slide surfaces for the end faces (1c, 1f) of the preliminary profile girder.
  6. Method for the operation of a continuous casting plant according to one or more of claims 2 to 5, characterised thereby that the end walls (7, 8) of the continuous casting chill mould (2) and the continuous casting guide elements (15, 18) arranged downstream of the end walls (7, 8) are adjusted, during the casting operation, for changing of the profile of the thickened portions (1b).
