  • the ends of the T-profile 46 co-acting with the second metal plates 5 display curved portions 48, thus enabling a great clamping force.

  • the second plate 85 comprises a first part 86 bent inward at a right angle and connecting thereto a second part 87 bent outward at a right angle, this part being longer than the first part 86, such that when coupled to an identical connecting edge of the panel 81 the respective parts 84, 87 of both panels 80, 81 overlap each other. It will be apparent that as a result of the configuration shown the compression strength between the respective first plates and the second plates is ensured. The tensile strength is ensured by inserting screws 88 through the respective second parts.
  • Figure 10 shows the coupling between two panels 90, 91. Corresponding elements are designated with the same reference numerals as in figure 7.
  • bent second parts 75, 78 are coupled partially to each other and to the coupling bracket 10 by means of screws 45, and partially coupled only to each other by shorter screws 92.
  • the invention further provides panels and couplings between said panels which guarantee a great integrity of the constructions, even under extreme conditions such as heavy, mechanical loading and thermal load, for instance in the case of fire.

Claims (8)

  1. Kupplung zwischen zwei Sandwichpaneelen (1, 2), von denen jedes eine Isolierschicht (3) aufweist, die an ihrer einen Seite mit einer ersten Metallplatte (4) und an ihrer anderen Seite mit einer zweiten Metallplatte (5) abgedeckt ist, wobei jedes Paneel (1, 2) einen prismatischen Verbindungsrand (6, 7) zum Kuppeln eines anderen gleichartigen Paneels (1, 2) an den Verbindungsrand (6, 7) aufweist, und die Kupplung Verbindungsmittel zum Verbinden der zusammenwirkenden Verbindungsränder (6, 7) aufweist, wobei die Verbindungsmittel wenigstens eine Schraube (13) aufweisen, von der die erste Metallplatte (4) des einen Paneels (1) mit der zweiten Metallplatte (5) des anderen Paneels (2) verbunden wird,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
       daß die Isolierschichten (3, 3) der beiden Paneele (1, 2) im wesentlichen stumpf aufeinanderstoßen, derart, daß sie zusammen eine im wesentlichen kontinuierliche Isolierung bilden,
       und daß die zusammenwirkenden Verbindungsränder (6, 7) derart gestaltet sind, daß eine relative Verstellung in der zu den Hauptebenen der Paneele (1, 2) senkrechten Richtung ermöglicht wird.
  2. Kupplung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Isolierschichten (3, 3) der beiden Paneele komplementär gestaltet sind.
  3. Kupplung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede der zweiten Platten (5) einen abgebogenen Teil (11) aufweist, die abgebogenen Teile (11, 11) benachbarter Platten (5, 5) voneinander im Abstand und einander gegenüberliegend angeordnet sind, und daß
       ein Dichtungsstreifen (17) zwischen den beiden, einander gegenüberliegenden abgebogenen Teilen (11) mit diesen abdichtend zusammenwirkend angeordnet ist, und daß die Verbindungsmittel (13) zwei benachbarte erste Platten (4, 4) miteinander verbinden, um zwischen diesen ein Scharnier zu bilden, und die Schrauben (13) ferner mit der zweiten Platte (5) wenigstens eines der beiden Paneele (1, 2) unmittelbar zusammenwirken.
  4. Kupplung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die ersten und/oder die zweiten Metallplatten (4, 4; 5, 5) beider Paneele (1, 2) einander wenigstens teilweise überlappen.
  5. Kupplung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Klemmglied (46), z.B. durch Schrauben, in eine Klemmlage an den ersten und/oder den zweiten, miteinander verbundenen Platten (4, 4; 5, 5) gebracht ist.
  6. Kupplung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Dichtungsstreifen (49) zwischen dem Klemmglied (46) und den entsprechenden Seitenflächen der Platten (4, 4; 5, 5) eingelegt ist.
  7. Kupplung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Köpfe (16) der Schrauben (13) von einer Seite her zugänglich sind.
  8. Modulbausystem mit Sandwichpaneelen (1, 2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das System eine Kupplung nach einem der vorausgehenden Ansprüche aufweist.
