Description

The invention relates to a sanitary water outlet valve with a valve housing, on the outer wall of which an outlet pipe for the water emerging from the valve is arranged, the outlet pipe being screwable into the valve housing and being coaxially surrounded by a decorative sleeve. Such a water outlet valve is known from DE-C-507 374. In order to cover the outlet pipe, a relatively complicated molded body made of porcelain, which also includes the valve housing, is provided, which should be relatively expensive and complex to manufacture and assemble.
Furthermore, a water outlet valve is known from EP-A-0 012 890, in which the water outlet takes place via a pull-out hose outlet. As a guide tube, a piece of tube is attached to a sleeve that surrounds the valve housing.

The invention has for its object to provide a water outlet valve with an outlet pipe, which in Aesthetically appealing allows an inexpensive training and assembly of the water valve with the outlet pipe.

This object is achieved in that the decorative sleeve has a shaped end face corresponding to the outer wall of the valve housing for contact with the outer wall, and that means are present on the inside of the decorative sleeve and on the outside of the outlet pipe that cooperate such that the decorative sleeve against the valve body is tight.

The advantages which can be achieved with the invention consist in particular in that the valve housing is given a surface which is simple to produce, for example a cylindrical outer surface, and the outlet on the outer surface can be fastened to a bore in the housing. The decorative sleeve can be designed in an appealing manner and can be struck smoothly against the wall of the valve housing with an appropriately designed end face in an amazingly simple manner. This also makes it possible, particularly in the case of colored or lacquered fittings, to make the fitting multicolored in an extremely simple manner, since the outlet part and the valve housing are provided with color separately and can then optionally be joined together.
Further refinements of the invention are specified in claims 2 to 10.

The one-handle mixer valve 1 shown in FIG. 1 is designed as a so-called single-hole mixer tap for fastening in an opening of a washstand or sink, etc. The single-action mixing valve 1 consists of a housing 11 made of cylindrical brass material, a valve cartridge 12 with a handle 10 and an outlet pipe 2 arranged at an angle to the central axis. The housing 11 can essentially be produced from rod material or a press blank and subsequent machining.
The outlet pipe 2 is screwed radially sealed into the housing 11 in a receiving bore with a thread 21 and a sealing ring 22. The connecting pipes 14 for the supply of cold and hot water are introduced into the housing 11 and are supplied via holes (not shown in the drawing) to a known valve cartridge 12 in which the mixed water is generated, which is produced via a hole 15 in the housing 11 the outlet pipe 2 is supplied. A decorative sleeve 3 made of plastic is pushed coaxially onto the outlet pipe 2 made of metal, in particular brass. The decorative sleeve 3 has a coaxial inner collar 31 (FIG. 4) which is formed on reinforcing ribs 33. In addition, an annular groove 23 is arranged on the outlet pipe 2, into which a snap ring 24 can be latched, the annular groove 23 being placed in such a way that, with the interposition of a rubber-elastic ring acting as a spring 4 and a washer 26, the decorative sleeve 3 is preloaded against the cylindrical outer surface of the housing 11 is tight. The decorative sleeve 3 has a bearing face 35 shaped in accordance with the cylindrical outer surface, the reinforcing ribs 33 ensuring the spaced guidance on the outlet pipe 2, so that an exact contact with the cylindrical outer surface of the housing 11 is ensured.
At the protruding end of the outlet pipe 2, a sealing ring 25 is arranged, on which an outlet nozzle 5 with a connection opening 51 can be pushed. So that the outlet mouthpiece 5 can also be used in other fittings, the connection opening 51 is enlarged and is bridged here with a reducing sleeve 27 having a sealing ring. To axially secure the outlet mouthpiece 5 on the outlet pipe 2, knobs 34 are formed on the projecting end of the decorative sleeve 3, as can be seen in particular in FIGS. 3 and 4, so that the bayonet connection 32 shown in FIG Outlet mouthpiece 5 and the decorative sleeve 3 can be produced. For ventilation of the space between the decorative sleeve 3 and the outlet pipe 2, an opening 351 is formed at the lowest point of the decorative sleeve 3.

Due to the above-described design of the water outlet valve, the individual parts that are visible from the outside can be for example by chrome plating, paint coatings, etc., and the individual parts provided with the final finish are assembled during assembly. In this case, it is in particular considerably simplified to produce water outlet fittings in a multicolored version. In addition, spouts of different lengths or different shapes can also be attached to the housing 11 in a simple manner, as required.
