- warning light 11 remains temporarily switched on, in the ways described, as long as the door is still locked. As soon as the door is unlocked the warning light is immediately switched off by the opening of electric contact 8, thus signaling this state to the user.

Claims (2)
- Türverriegelungsvorrichtung für eine Waschmaschine und/oder einen Wäschetrockner, die umfaßt:
einen Programm-Zeitgeber (1), der von der elektrischen Stromversorgungsleitung über mindestens einen Hauptschalter (4) versorgt wird und der das Einschalten und das Ausschalten der verschiedenen elektrischen Komponenten der Maschine steuert, und
ferner mindestens ein Bimetallelement (5), das mit einem herkömmlichen PTC verbunden und an den Programm-Zeitgeber angeschlossen ist und über einen Kontakt (6) des Programm-Zeitgebers (1) ein- und ausgeschaltet wird, wobei das Bimetallelement (5) mit mindestens einem elektrischen Kontakt (7) versehen ist, der zu den elektrischen Komponenten geschlossen wird, wenn der PTC des Bimetallelements (5) eingeschaltet ist, und der mit einer bestimmten Verzögerungszeit entsprechend der Trägheit des Bimetallelements (5) geöffnet wird, wenn der PTC des Bimetallelements (5) ausgeschaltet ist, und wobei
das Bimetallelement (5) ferner mit einem Stift (12) verbunden ist, der mit der Verriegelung (13) der Tür derart zusammenwirkt, daß die Tür jeweils entsprechend verriegelt und entriegelt wird, wenn der elektrische Kontakt (7) des Bimetallelements geschlossen und geöffnet wird,
wobei die Verriegelungsvorrichtung weiterhin mindestens eine optische oder akustische Warneinrichtung (11) herkömmlicher Bauart zur Signalisierung des verriegelten oder unverriegelten Zustands der Tür enthält, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
das Bimetallelement (5) mit mindestens einem weiteren elektischen Kontakt (8) gekoppelt ist, der vor dem Hauptschalter (4) angeschlossen ist und auf die Warneinrichtung (11) geschlossen wird, wobei der weitere elektrische Kontakt (8) von dem Bimetallelement (5) gleichzeitig mit dem elektrischen Kontakt (7) des Bimetallelements aktiviert wird. - Verriegelungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der elektrische Kontakt (7) des Bimetallelements (5) und der weitere elektrische Kontakt (8) von der normalerweise geöffneten Bauart sind.
