Abstract

Ein Gebläse erzeugt im Raum (44) vor der Blende (41) einen Luftdruck und damit einen Luftstrom durch den Durchlass (43) hindurch in den Mischraum (23). Gleichzeitig fliesst Gas aus dem ringförmigen Gasauslass (49) zur Peripherie des Luftstroms und aus den Auslassöffnungen (25) in das Zentrum des Luft­ stroms. Nach der praktisch geräuschlosen Zündung durch die Elektroden (45) im Mischraum (23) entsteht am Ende des Misch­ kopfes (11) eine kurze und stabile Flamme. Bei relativ star­ ker Luftzufuhr drosselt der Luftdruck bei den Gasauslassöff­ nungen (25) den zentralen Gasaustritt zu Gunsten des peri­ pheren Gasaustritts aus dem Gasauslass (49). Dies trägt zur Stabilität der Flamme bei. Der ringförmige Raum (19) dient der Rezirkulation von heissen Brenngasen zum Einlass (13).
