Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roof tile with sockets for a sloping roof covered with roofing slabs, comprising an essentially flat base plate, an outlet socket arranged on its upper side and a passage socket arranged on its underside.
  • a roof tile with spigot for a pitched roof covered with roofing slabs is required, for example, to vent the roof space or an exhaust pipe, to connect a fume hood or to carry out an antenna mast.
  • special ventilation blocks are required to avoid the formation of condensation, which ensure the ventilation of the space between the roof blocks and the thermal insulation.
  • Such a roof tile designed as a ventilation device is known from German Patent DE 27 01 383 C3.
  • a roof tile for the implementation of a pipe and a roof tile provided with a ventilation attachment are known from German Offenlegungsschrift DE 29 49 956 A1.
  • the known roof tiles with sockets have a base plate which is usually made of plastic or metal and is adapted to a roof tile, a base plate which is specially adapted to the contour of the roof tile being required for each roof tile shape.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a universally usable roof tile with sockets which can be adapted to seal differently shaped roof tiles and which can take over the function of a ventilation stone and also allows ventilation of an extractor tube or a fume hood, as well as the sealing implementation of a support or one mast allowed.
  • the base plate is elastically resilient in that a removable hood covering this is arranged at the end of the outlet connection facing away from the base plate, that on the top of the base plate a cover made of flexible material and protruding as a film apron is formed is arranged, and that on the top of the cover substantially parallel to the edges of the lip-shaped sealing elements are arranged.
  • the roof tile with socket according to the invention can be installed in a sloping roof, the essentially rectangular base plate, which is expediently made of hard PVC by injection molding and which has a holding bracket on its underside in the region of the face near the ridge, is attached to a first roof batten under an upper roof tile .
  • the base plate is supported in the area of its front near the eaves on a lower roof tile resting on a second roof batten.
  • the base plate and the cover When covered on a sloping roof, the base plate and the cover are partially covered on both sides by an upper, a left and a right roof tile.
  • the cover which is preferably made of soft PVC, nestles against the underside of the covering roof tiles and lies on the top of a lower roof tile.
  • the cover of the contour of the lower roof tile adapts exactly. Therefore, the roof tile according to the invention can be used universally for differently shaped roof tiles.
  • Sealing lips on the upper side of the cover which run essentially parallel to the edges, serve for sealing against the upper and lateral roof tiles.
  • a sealing fit of the cover on the underside of the side roof tiles is made possible by the resilient design of the base plate.
  • sealing lips arranged on the side edges of the cover, the sealing lips arranged in the region between the sleeve and the side edges, and the sealing lip arranged on the edge adjacent to the upper end face of the base plate, pointing obliquely upwards towards the center of the cover.
  • a tight connection of the cover to the outlet nozzle is achieved if, in the center of the cover on the upper side, a nozzle-shaped sleeve is arranged, which is adapted to the outer contour of the outlet nozzle and engages around its free end.
  • a plastic molding of the cover to the contour of the roof tile arranged below the roof tile according to the invention is advantageously achieved in that the Cover is connected in the area of the lower edge with a stiffening made of ductile material such as annealed aluminum expanded metal or metallized plastic.
  • a permanently sealing connection of the cover to the roof tile underneath is achieved if the cover has a self-adhesive section on its underside in the region of its lower edge, for example a strip-shaped coating of self-adhesive material
  • the passage socket and the outlet socket have an elongated cross section, the longitudinal axis running parallel to the side edges of the base plate.
  • the outlet connection advantageously has a larger cross section than the through connection. This creates a step-shaped edge section on the base plate within the outlet nozzle, on which water is possibly collected and cannot enter the passage nozzle.
  • a hole can be arranged directly above the base plate, which allows the water to drain off.
  • the assembly of the roof tile is simplified if a holding bracket, preferably arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the base plate, is provided on the underside of the base plate on its upper end face facing the roof ridge.
  • the adaptation of the cover to roof tiles with high brims is advantageously achieved in that a section with a wavy cross section is provided between the sleeve and the lower edge of the cover. Due to the wave formation, there is enough material in this area of the cover is available to form a seal on the surface of the lower roof tile.
  • a tight attachment of the cuff and thus the cover is achieved in that on the underside of the hood a bracket protruding into the outlet connection and a clamping ring forming a U-shaped groove are arranged around the cuff, the clear width of the U-shaped groove being somewhat is less than the sum of the material thicknesses of the outlet nozzle plus sleeve.
  • An opening can be provided in the hood which enables the passage of a support, for example an antenna mast, it being possible for the seal between the hood and the support to be made in a known manner by means of an elastic bellows.
  • the roof tile as a ventilation device, it is expedient if the hood protrudes beyond the outlet nozzle and a protective grille extending from the outlet nozzle is arranged on the underside of the hood. In this case, the holder and clamping ring are arranged on the protective grille.
  • the entry of flying snow into the outlet socket of the roof tile is prevented, and an aesthetic appearance is achieved if the base of the protective grille is rectangular with rounded corners and in the assembled state of the roof tile with socket, the narrow sides of the protective grille parallel to the upper face of the Base plate are arranged.
  • the roof tile with connecting piece can advantageously be produced from separate parts for the base plate and, if appropriate, the hood provided with a protective grille in an injection molding process, if the holder extending from the underside of the hood is designed in the form of a nozzle, the outer contour of which corresponds to the inner contour of the outlet nozzle. Holes can be arranged in the holder, into which inner latching knobs provided in the region of the upper end of the outlet connector can engage.
  • the penetration of small animals as well as driving water and flying snow is effectively prevented by arranging numerous elongated lattice openings with a clear width of less than 6 mm, preferably 4 mm, in the protective grid parallel to the narrow sides, and that the thickness of the protective grid is greater than the width of the grid openings.
  • the free cross section of the ventilation device can be increased in addition to the grille area if spacer knobs are provided on both long sides of the protective grille.
  • the hood and the support grille can consist of two separate parts if the hood is attached to the support grille by means of a snap-in connection.
  • the upper edge of the locking lips should have a distance from the lower edge of the support ribs that is equal to or slightly less than the thickness of the protective grille.
  • Condensed water separated on the underside of the hood is drained from the area of the outlet connection when in there Longitudinal condensation ribs are attached.
  • FIG. 1 and 2 show a roof tile according to the invention, which is built into a pitched roof and is designed as a ventilation device, with a socket 10 in a longitudinal section or in a cross section.

Description

The invention relates to a roof tile with sockets for a sloping roof covered with roofing slabs, comprising an essentially flat base plate, an outlet socket arranged on its upper side and a passage socket arranged on its underside.

A roof tile with spigot for a pitched roof covered with roofing slabs is required, for example, to vent the roof space or an exhaust pipe, to connect a fume hood or to carry out an antenna mast. In addition, in the case of thermally insulated roofs, special ventilation blocks are required to avoid the formation of condensation, which ensure the ventilation of the space between the roof blocks and the thermal insulation.

Such a roof tile designed as a ventilation device is known from German Patent DE 27 01 383 C3. A roof tile for the implementation of a pipe and a roof tile provided with a ventilation attachment are known from German Offenlegungsschrift DE 29 49 956 A1.

The known roof tiles with sockets have a base plate which is usually made of plastic or metal and is adapted to a roof tile, a base plate which is specially adapted to the contour of the roof tile being required for each roof tile shape.

The object of the present invention is to provide a universally usable roof tile with sockets which can be adapted to seal differently shaped roof tiles and which can take over the function of a ventilation stone and also allows ventilation of an extractor tube or a fume hood, as well as the sealing implementation of a support or one mast allowed.

The object is achieved in that the base plate is elastically resilient in that a removable hood covering this is arranged at the end of the outlet connection facing away from the base plate, that on the top of the base plate a cover made of flexible material and protruding as a film apron is formed is arranged, and that on the top of the cover substantially parallel to the edges of the lip-shaped sealing elements are arranged.

The roof tile with socket according to the invention can be installed in a sloping roof, the essentially rectangular base plate, which is expediently made of hard PVC by injection molding and which has a holding bracket on its underside in the region of the face near the ridge, is attached to a first roof batten under an upper roof tile . The base plate is supported in the area of its front near the eaves on a lower roof tile resting on a second roof batten.

Since the cover completely covers and projects over the base plate, it is achieved that the cover alone seals while the base plate essentially performs a pure holding function.

When covered on a sloping roof, the base plate and the cover are partially covered on both sides by an upper, a left and a right roof tile. The cover, which is preferably made of soft PVC, nestles against the underside of the covering roof tiles and lies on the top of a lower roof tile. The cover of the contour of the lower roof tile adapts exactly. Therefore, the roof tile according to the invention can be used universally for differently shaped roof tiles.

Sealing lips on the upper side of the cover, which run essentially parallel to the edges, serve for sealing against the upper and lateral roof tiles.

A sealing fit of the cover on the underside of the side roof tiles is made possible by the resilient design of the base plate. For this purpose, it is advantageous to arrange openings in the lateral sections of the base plate.

It is expedient to design the sealing lips arranged on the side edges of the cover, the sealing lips arranged in the region between the sleeve and the side edges, and the sealing lip arranged on the edge adjacent to the upper end face of the base plate, pointing obliquely upwards towards the center of the cover.

Reliable water flow even in heavy rain is achieved if the transverse upper sealing lip arranged on the edge adjacent to the upper end face of the base plate extends over the entire width of the cover, the sealing lips arranged on the side edges extend at a short distance from the transverse sealing lip and the remaining sealing lips are spaced from the end edges.

A tight connection of the cover to the outlet nozzle is achieved if, in the center of the cover on the upper side, a nozzle-shaped sleeve is arranged, which is adapted to the outer contour of the outlet nozzle and engages around its free end.

A plastic molding of the cover to the contour of the roof tile arranged below the roof tile according to the invention is advantageously achieved in that the Cover is connected in the area of the lower edge with a stiffening made of ductile material such as annealed aluminum expanded metal or metallized plastic.

Eine dauerhaft dichtende Verbindung der Abdeckung mit dem darunterliegenden Dachstein wird erreicht, wenn die Abdeckung im Bereich ihres unteren Randes auf ihrer Unterseite einen selbstklebenden Abschnitt, beispielsweise eine streifenförmige Beschichtung aus selbstklebendem Material aufweistA permanently sealing connection of the cover to the roof tile underneath is achieved if the cover has a self-adhesive section on its underside in the region of its lower edge, for example a strip-shaped coating of self-adhesive material

The use of the roof tile in roofs of different inclinations is possible if the passage socket and the outlet socket have an elongated cross section, the longitudinal axis running parallel to the side edges of the base plate.

The outlet connection advantageously has a larger cross section than the through connection. This creates a step-shaped edge section on the base plate within the outlet nozzle, on which water is possibly collected and cannot enter the passage nozzle. In the wall of the outlet connector facing the eaves-side section of the base plate, a hole can be arranged directly above the base plate, which allows the water to drain off.

The assembly of the roof tile is simplified if a holding bracket, preferably arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the base plate, is provided on the underside of the base plate on its upper end face facing the roof ridge.

The adaptation of the cover to roof tiles with high brims is advantageously achieved in that a section with a wavy cross section is provided between the sleeve and the lower edge of the cover. Due to the wave formation, there is enough material in this area of the cover is available to form a seal on the surface of the lower roof tile.

A tight attachment of the cuff and thus the cover is achieved in that on the underside of the hood a bracket protruding into the outlet connection and a clamping ring forming a U-shaped groove are arranged around the cuff, the clear width of the U-shaped groove being somewhat is less than the sum of the material thicknesses of the outlet nozzle plus sleeve.

An opening can be provided in the hood which enables the passage of a support, for example an antenna mast, it being possible for the seal between the hood and the support to be made in a known manner by means of an elastic bellows.

To design the roof tile as a ventilation device, it is expedient if the hood protrudes beyond the outlet nozzle and a protective grille extending from the outlet nozzle is arranged on the underside of the hood. In this case, the holder and clamping ring are arranged on the protective grille.

The entry of flying snow into the outlet socket of the roof tile is prevented, and an aesthetic appearance is achieved if the base of the protective grille is rectangular with rounded corners and in the assembled state of the roof tile with socket, the narrow sides of the protective grille parallel to the upper face of the Base plate are arranged.

The roof tile with connecting piece can advantageously be produced from separate parts for the base plate and, if appropriate, the hood provided with a protective grille in an injection molding process, if the holder extending from the underside of the hood is designed in the form of a nozzle, the outer contour of which corresponds to the inner contour of the outlet nozzle. Holes can be arranged in the holder, into which inner latching knobs provided in the region of the upper end of the outlet connector can engage.

The entry of flying snow into the outlet connection is made more difficult if a collar is provided on the top of the protective grille opposite the U-shaped groove.

The penetration of small animals as well as driving water and flying snow is effectively prevented by arranging numerous elongated lattice openings with a clear width of less than 6 mm, preferably 4 mm, in the protective grid parallel to the narrow sides, and that the thickness of the protective grid is greater than the width of the grid openings.

The free cross section of the ventilation device can be increased in addition to the grille area if spacer knobs are provided on both long sides of the protective grille.

The hood and the support grille can consist of two separate parts if the hood is attached to the support grille by means of a snap-in connection. This is advantageously achieved in that the inside width of the hood corresponds to the outer dimension of the protective grille on its inner edge, that support ribs are provided on the side walls in the interior of the hood, and in that on two opposite sides of the hood, preferably on both narrow sides, into the interior projecting locking lips are provided. The upper edge of the locking lips should have a distance from the lower edge of the support ribs that is equal to or slightly less than the thickness of the protective grille.

Condensed water separated on the underside of the hood is drained from the area of the outlet connection when in there Longitudinal condensation ribs are attached.

The locking lips 36, 38 are arranged in the interior of the hood 34 on its narrow sides.

On its upper side, the base plate 12 carries a cover 40 made of soft PVC designed as a film apron. On the upper side of the upper end section 42 of the base plate 12 adjoining the upper end face 14, a sealing bead 44 made of foam is attached to the cover 40, which sealingly rests on the underside of an upper roof tile 46 covering the roof tile 10 in sections.

Die Abdeckung 40 schmiegt sich an die Unterseite der seitlichen Dachsteine 48, 50 an.The function of the cover 40 can be seen from FIG. Base plate 12 and cover 40 are covered on both sides in sections by left and right roof tiles 48 and 50, respectively. The cover 40 nestles against the underside of the side roof tiles 48, 50.

Figures 4 to 6 show the roof tile with nozzle 10 in two cross sections in different planes and in longitudinal section. On the long sides of the connecting piece 26, in the region of its end section facing away from the base plate 12, four external locking knobs 52, 53, 54 are attached, by means of which a transition tube 55 is fastened. The transition tube 55 has a tubular section 56 with a circular cross-section and a connecting section 57 with an elongated cross-section, which is adapted to the outer contour of the passage connector 26. For example, a sanitary pipe or a vapor extractor can be connected to the tubular section 56 of the transition pipe 55.

Figures 6, 7 and 8 show the base plate 12 in plan view, in longitudinal and in cross section. The base of the base plate 12 is approximately rectangular, with long sides 14, 21 of the rectangle of 440 mm x 250 mm to be arranged parallel to the battens when installed in a sloping roof. The base plate 12 is formed symmetrically to the central axis 60 running parallel to the side edges 58, 59. In the middle of the front side 21 near the eaves, the base plate 12 has an approximately triangular 85 mm protruding 200 mm wide projection 61 which rests on a lower roof tile 24 in a roof tile with socket 10 mounted in a sloping roof.

The cross-sectional shapes of the 85 mm long connecting piece 26 and the 47 mm long outlet connecting piece 28 can be seen from FIG. 6: the cross sectional shape of the through connecting piece 26 can be approximately as a square 62 of 110 mm side length with a semicircle 63 attached to one side and 105 mm in diameter and with a corner radius of 25 mm rounded opposite corners 64, 65 are described. The outlet connection 28 shows in cross section approximately the shape of a stadium with two semicircular end sections with a 63 mm radius 66, 67 and straight intermediate pieces 68, 69 of 90 mm length running parallel to the central axis 60. The radii of the semicircular sections 66, 67 of the outlet connector 28 are larger than the radius of the semicircular section 63 of the passage connector 26. The semicircular section 63 of the passage connector 26 is arranged almost concentrically to one of the semicircular sections 66 of the outlet connector 28. These two semicircular sections 63, 66 point to the face 14 of the base plate 12 near the ridge. The center point of the semicircular section 63 of the passage connector 26 is 151 mm from the face 14 near the ridge and the center of the first semicircular section 66 of the outlet connector 28 is 154 mm from the face 14 near the ridge of the base plate 12.

Die Mittelpunkte sämtlicher halbkreisförmigen Abschnittes 63, 66, 67 liegen auf der Mittelachse 60 der Grundplatte 12.The passage connector 26 is arranged entirely in the interior of the outlet connector 28. The center point of the second semicircular section 67 of the outlet connector 28 is 244 mm from the first face 14 of the base plate 12 near the ridge. The center points of all semicircular sections 63, 66, 67 lie on the central axis 60 of the base plate 12.

In the area of the upper section 42, two annular areas 70, 71 with a greater wall thickness are arranged laterally of the 120 mm long holding bracket 16 symmetrically to the central axis 60, each of which has a hole in the center. The center distance of the annular areas 70, 71 is 175 mm, the distance from the first face 14 near the ridge is 19 mm. At these points, the base plate 12 can be nailed or screwed onto a roof batten 18 in FIG. 1.

In the area of a left and a right side section 72, 73 each 120 mm wide, six square openings 74 to 79 and 80 to 85 with rounded corners are provided in the base plate 12. Between the openings 74 to 79 and 80 to 85, the base plate 12 has several 10 mm thick webs which run parallel or at right angles to the central axis 60. The openings adjacent to the first face 14 are trapezoidal in shape with a rectangular base and at an angle of 15 ° to this upper edge, the outer openings 74, 81 being higher than the inner openings 75, 80. All openings are 45 mm wide other breakthroughs 76, 77, 78, 79; 82, 83, 84, 85 are rectangular with a length of 60 mm.

To the side and below the outlet connection 28, on both sides, parallel to the central axis 60 of the base plate 12, each at a distance of 88 mm, and in the region of the projection 61 parallel to the edges 86, 88 of which run-off ends 92, 94 which end at the blunted tip 90 of the projection 61. The drainage channels 92, 94 are designed as hat-shaped depressions pointing towards the underside of the base plate 12.

In FIGS. 7 and 8, in the area of the transition from the semicircular end sections 66, 67 to the straight intermediate pieces 68, 69 of the outlet connector 28, round inner latching knobs 96, 97, 98 protruding from its inner wall are shown. A total of four such internal locking knobs 96, 97, 98 are provided in the region of the upper end of the outlet connector 28, by means of which the protective grille 32 can be attached to the outlet connector 28.

The base area of the cover 40 is rectangular, the long sides of the rectangle of 440 mm × 405 mm running parallel to the face 14 near the ridge or the face 21 of the base plate 12 near the eaves. A plurality of sealing lips 104 to 128 are arranged on the top of the cover 40. While a transverse upper sealing lip 128 is arranged on the edge of the cover 40 adjacent to the front face 14 of the base plate 12 near the ridge, the remaining sealing lips 104 to 126 run at right angles thereto, i.e. parallel to the longitudinal axis 60 of the base plate 12 and extend almost over the total length of cover 40.

Approximately in the center of the cover 40 is arranged on the upper side of the outer contour of the outlet port 28 of the base plate 12 nozzle-shaped sleeve 130 which surrounds the outlet port 28.

Der gewellter Abschnitt 132 ermöglicht die exakte Anpassung der Abdeckung 40 an die Kontur des unteren Dachsteins 24 in Fig. 1.Between the collar 130 and the edge 131 pointing towards the eaves in the installed state of the roof tile with socket 10 there is a corrugated section 132 of 270 mm width with 27 corrugated ribs each 10 mm wide and 5 mm high. The corrugated section 132 enables the cover 40 to be precisely adapted to the contour of the lower roof tile 24 in FIG. 1.

On the underside of the cover 40, at the lower edge 131 in the area of the corrugated section 132, a strip of annealed aluminum expanded metal 23 and underneath a self-adhesive sealing strip 25 are attached, as also shown in FIG. 1.

The outer sealing lips 104, 106, 108 and 122, 124, 126 serve to seal against lateral roof tiles 48, 50 in FIG. 2, which nestle against the underside of these roof tiles 48, 50 in the installed state of the roof tile with connecting piece 10. The outer sealing lips 104, 106, 108 or 122, 124, 126 are, as shown in FIG. 12, in cross-section obliquely pointing upwards towards the center of the cover 40, so that they are under the weight of an overlying roof tile 48, Put 50 on it without lifting it. Depending on the width of the distance provided between the lateral roof tiles 48, 50, the inner sealing lips 110, 112, 114 or 116, 118, 120 adjacent to the sleeve 130 come under a roof tile 48, 50 or are free. In this case, the inner sealing lips 110, 112, 114 and 116, 118, 120 serve as ribs for water guidance. Therefore, the inner sealing lips 110, 112, 114 and 116, 118, 120 are lower than the outer sealing lips 104, 106, 108 and 122, 124, 126 and, viewed in cross section, run perpendicular to the surface of the cover 40.

Figure 13 shows the protective grille 32 in plan view. FIGS. 14, 15 and 16 show the protective grille 32 along the section line A-A from FIG. 13 in the longitudinal section and in cross sections along the section line B-B or along the section line C-C. The base of the protective grille 32 is rectangular with rounded corners, the narrow sides of the rectangle of 197 mm × 206 mm being arranged parallel to the front face 14 close to the ridge or to the front face 21 of the base plate 12 in the assembled state of the roof tile with connection piece 10.

An opening 133, which is adapted to the cross-sectional shape of the outlet connector 28, is arranged in the protective grid 32 symmetrically to the central axis 60 of the base plate 12. The opening 133 is arranged close to a narrow side of the protective grid 32.

The opening 133 is delimited by a nozzle-shaped holder 134 extending from the underside of the protective grid 32, the outer contour of which is equal to the inner contour of the outlet nozzle 28. On the 30 mm high bracket 134, four tabs 136, 137, 138 are arranged, which have holes 140, 141, 142, into which the internal locking knobs 96, 97, 98 of the outlet connector 28 can engage.

Parallel to the bracket 134 runs at a distance from this a clamping ring 144 of 15 mm height forming a U-shaped groove 143. The distance between the bracket 134 and the clamping ring 144 is slightly less than the sum of the material thicknesses of the outlet connector 28 plus the sleeve 130, so that the sleeve 130 is fastened by means of the protective screen 32 in the U-shaped groove 143 to the outlet connector 28 by clamping.

On the top of the protective grid 32, a collar 145 of 10 mm height is provided opposite the U-shaped groove.

The protective grid 32 has a length of 8 mm and numerous elongated rectangular grid openings 146 with a clear width of 4 mm × 54 mm, the longitudinal axes of which run parallel to the narrow sides of the protective grid at right angles to the central axis 60 of the base plate 12. Because of the eccentric arrangement of the opening 133, grille openings 146 are arranged to the side of the opening 133 and in the area between the latter and the narrow side of the protective grille 32 pointing toward the eaves in the installed state of the roof tile with socket 10.

Seven spacer knobs 148 to 174, each 3.5 mm high, are provided on both long sides of the protective grid 32.

Figures 17, 18 and 19 show the hood 34 in the bottom view, in longitudinal and in cross section. The base of the hood 34 is rectangular. The clear width at the inner edge of the cover plate 34 corresponds to the outer dimension of the protective grid 32. Condensation water ribs 176 running in the longitudinal direction are attached to the underside of the hood 34.

In the interior of the hood 34, two supporting ribs 178 to 100 are provided on each of the four side walls, by means of which the hood 34 is supported on the protective grid 32. On both narrow sides, a 100 mm long locking lip 36, 38 projecting into the interior is provided, which in cross section has the shape of a right-angled triangle extending from the edge. The distance between the lower edge of the support ribs 178 to 100 and the upper edge of the locking lips 36, 38 is slightly less than the thickness of the protective grille 32, so that the hood 34 snaps firmly onto the protective grille 32.
