Abstract

On émet à travers le champignon du rail deux faisceaux d'ultrasons sensiblement perpendiculaires aux portées d'éclisse de ce rail. On capte les échos de ces faisceaux réfléchis par les portées d'éclisse. On forme un signal d'asservissement fonction de la différence de temps entre l'émission et la réception de son écho pour chacun des deux faisceaux ultrasonores et utilise ce signal d'asservissement pour l'élaboration d'un signal de commande du positionnement transversal dudit organe.
