Definitions
- the invention relates to the cutting table of a high-pressure fluid jet cutting system according to the preamble of claim 1, wherein the material to be cut lying on the cutting table is cut by means of a fluid jet.
- a fluid jet In these cutting systems, which have been known for a long time, one of the essential requirements is that the used fluid jet cut the material to be cut is rapidly discharged from the material support and that the inherent high energy can be dissipated within the cutting table in order to avoid further destruction.
- DE-OS 28 13 498 discloses a cutting table in which the material support is formed from a frame-shaped box profile (honey-comb). Arranged below the box profile are deflection plates which extend into the trough of the cutting table and extend obliquely to the direction of the irradiation and are intended to absorb the energy inherent in the fluid jet. Furthermore, the cutting material support can be formed by a plurality of support plates which extend transversely to the trough and have a cutting-like edge upwards. Here, too, the cutting beam hits the sloping support plate, causing it to lose energy.
- metal wool, steel shot or loosely packed gravel above the horizontal surface within the frame.
- metal wool, steel shot or ream only have inadequate sound-absorbing properties, so that when the fluid jet strikes this material, the noise is not effectively suppressed, and also that the high-energy fluid jet presses the absorption material apart along the cutting line and throws it up. Due to the high inherent energy of the jet, this spreading and throwing occurs with such great force that either the sloping support plates are deformed strongly, which destroys the material to be cut or individual support plates rise, which leads to the formation of folds on the material to be cut and therefore no perfect cut formation is more possible.
- EP-A2-319 143 discloses a fluid jet cutting system in which the fluid jet is caught in a mesh filled with granules after it has penetrated the material to be cut.
- This flexible network is arranged below the contact surface and directly assigned to the cutting nozzle. With great design effort, it must be ensured that the network travels the same way below the contact surface as the cutting nozzle above it.
- the invention has for its object to design a cutting table so that in addition to effective energy absorption and high noise insulation, it is ensured that the absorption material is not thrown up.
- the task is solved with a cutting table of the generic type in that the granulate is enclosed in cages.
- the The cutting surface formed in the frame of the table can be completely filled with granules without leaving any interfering spaces.
- the development of the invention according to claim 3 also allows high demands for noise insulation to be met or, by using cages that can be made flatter, to replace the cages that may become necessary.
- a perfectly flat support surface is created for the material support, particularly if it consists of individual segments.
- the cutting support can be transported all round so that the cut-out patterns can be removed at the rear end of the cutting table, while at the same time new material to be cut can be introduced into the cutting area. This ensures the easy processing of material to be cut, which is wound up into a roll.
- FIG. 1 shows a computer-controlled ultra-high pressure fluid jet cutting system in a partially simplified form, which essentially consists of: the cutting table 8, the cutting material support 3 arranged on the cutting table 8, the cutting portal 9, which is mounted longitudinally displaceably above the cutting table 8, and accommodates the high pressure nozzle 11 the control system 10.
- the material 12 to be cut is placed on the material support 3 and the individual patterns M are cut out by means of the fluid jet flowing through the high-pressure nozzle 11.
- the cutting table 8 has a rectangular, circumferential, laterally closed frame 13. Struts 17 are introduced within this frame 13, with which a collecting trough 4, which delimits the cutting table 8 downwards and in which the used cutting fluid is collected, is connected.
- Commercially available gratings 15 rest on the collecting trough 4 on the inwardly projecting flanges 14 of the frame 13. These gratings 15 serve on the one hand as a carrier material for the cutting material support 3 and are arranged within the frame 13 at such a height that sufficient space remains between them and the bottom of the collecting trough 4 in order to effectively discharge the used cutting fluid.
- At least one single-layer support of granules 1 enclosed in cages 16 is placed on the gratings 15, and the layer of honeycomb-shaped material (honey comb) serving as a cutting support 3 rests on these cages 16.
- FIG. 3 shows a single cage 16.
- the granules completely filling the cage are only indicated here.
- One cover side 16f is connected to the side parts 16b to e after the box formed by the parts 16a to e has been filled with granules 1.
- these filled cages which have the dimensions 20 ⁇ 20 ⁇ 4 cm (W ⁇ L ⁇ H), lie next to one another on the gratings 15 arranged in the cutting table 8 and completely cover them.
- the material support 3 rests on this layer formed by the cages 16.
- the jet is struck when it strikes the granules diffused.
- the resulting pressure can easily escape through the meshes 2 of the cage 16 in any direction, a further beam diffusion taking place each time a granule is hit, which may well extend over several cage boundaries.
- the mesh size 2 of the cage 16 is smaller than the granule diameter, pressure equalization can take place across the cage boundaries, but the range of motion of the granulate 1 is limited to the respective cage. As a result, there can be no or only slight pellets thrown along the cutting line of the fluid jet and the cutting material support 3, which is likewise composed of individual segments, cannot rise.
- the individual cages 16 may neither be too large nor too small, since if the cage 16 is too large, a high pitch is inevitably formed along the cutting line, which in the end is the Cage wall could blow up, while if the cage 16 is too small, the pressure compensation is not possible quickly enough, or due to the limited available expansion space, the cage 16 is deformed by the granules, so that, finally, there is no more flat support surface for the material support 3.
- a cage 16 which has the aforementioned dimensions and a polyamide granulate with a grain diameter of 4 mm gives very good results, but it goes without saying that other cage dimensions or another type of granulate can also be used.
- the honeycomb-shaped cover plate referred to here as cutting material 3 only has the task of quickly draining the cutting fluid into the interior of the cutting table and effectively preventing the cutting material 12 from becoming damp during the cutting. If no moisture-absorbing material is processed, the honey-comb cover plate can be omitted and the material to be cut 12 can be placed directly on the granule-filled cages 16. In the event that more effective noise insulation is desired, several cages 16 can also be layered one on top of the other.
- the individual cages 16 can be connected to one another in a simplified manner, as shown in FIG. 4, in such a way that an endless cutting material support 3a is formed which can be arranged inside the cutting table 8.
- the cutting table 8 is not shown in FIG. 4 for clarity, and the cutting portal 9a arranged above the product support 3a and the high-pressure nozzle 11a are only indicated schematically.
- Different from the cutting table 8 shown in FIG. 1 is only the endlessly rotating cutting material support 3a driven by the rollers 5, 6. Since revolving conveyor belts or the like have long been known, the person skilled in the art knows how to design the drive elements so that the functionality is ensured.

Description
- Fig. 1 die perspektivische Darstellung einer Höchstdruck-Fluidstrahl-Schneidanlage,
- Fig. 2 den schematischen Aufbau des Schneidtisches,
- Fig. 3a den Bauplan eines Käfigs,
- Fig. 2 verdeutlicht den Aufbau des Schneidtisches 8.
- Fig. 3 zeigt einen einzelnen Käfig 16.
