  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that it comprises at least one backplate (12) inserted between the plate (1) and the door (3) so that the gap produced by the protrusion of the cylinder from the door is filled in.
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the backplate (12) has in it a hole with a surface area less than that of the part (2), opposite the latter.
  4. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the back of the housing (14) has in it a hole (16) which widens out towards the external surface of the plate (1).
  5. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises a protective plate (17) located in a recess (18) in the plate (1), this protective plate (17) being flush with the surface of the plate (1) which faces the door.
  6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that coach bolts (10, 11) fix the plate (1) to the door (3).
  7. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the plate (1) is equipped with threaded sockets (19, 19') designed to enter corresponding holes in the door, bolts (20, 20') passing through the door from the inside face in order to be screwed into the sockets so as to fix the device to the door.
