When it is tried to use prior art pallets in such stacks, they are found to be unstable whereas the pallets of the present invention accommodate such differences while still having sufficient strength and rigidity to support the stack.

Claims (10)

  1. Palette zur Unterbringung von Containern (1) mit Positionen (3) zur Unterstützung und zur sicheren Unterbringung von im allgemeinen zylindrischen Containern auf ihrer oberen Fläche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Positionen (3) durch Scharniervorrichtungen (12) verbunden sind, die es ihnen ermöglichen, sich im beschränkten Maße relativ zueinander zu drehen.
  2. Palette nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Positionen (3) Grundbasen (3a) umfassen, die voneinander beabstandet sind und durch Verstrebungsvorrichtungen (10, 11) verbunden sind, wobei benachbarte Basenpaare durch zwei solcher Vorrichtungen verbunden sind, und zwar einer auf jeder Seite einer die Centren von zwei Basen verbindenen Linie und wobei jede Verstrebungsvorrichtung mindestens an einem Ende einer Base drehbar befestigt ist.
  3. Palette nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Palette (1) vier Basen (3a) aufweist, die im Viereck angeordnet sind und daß die vier Verstrebungsvorrichtungen (10) die benachbarten Teile der Basen in Richtung auf die Mitte des Viereckes verbinden, ebenfalls in Viereckform angeordnet sind.
  4. Palette nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Verstrebungsvorrichtung (10, 11) eine im wesentlichen starre Strebe (10a, 11a) mit einem flachen Steg oder einer flachen Platte (12) an jedem Ende umfaßt, die mit der zugeordneten Base (3a) drehbar verbunden sind.
  5. Palette nach Anspruch 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streben (10a, 11a) jeder Verstrebungsvorrichtung (10, 11) sich unter der horizontalen Tragplatte (X-X) der Palette, definiert durch die Basen (3a) in normaler Lage beim Gebrauch der Palette, befinden und mit jeder zugehörigen Base (3a) durch einen L-förmigen Steg oder eine Platte (12, 13) verbunden sind, wobei ein waagerechter Teil (12) mit der Base (3a) und ein zugehöriger senkrechter Teil (13) mit der Strebe (12a, 11a) verbunden sind, so daß die unteren Kanten der Streben (10a, 11a) coplanar sind und die Palette auf einer flachen Oberfläche stützen können.
  6. Palette nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Base (3a) zugehörige randständige und nach oben zeigende Flansche (7) aufweist, die Vorrichtungen zum sicheren Unterbringen der Container bilden, und daß die unteren Kanten der zugehörigen Flansche (7) coplanar mit unteren Kanten der Streben (10a, 11a) sind.
  7. Palette nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Palettenbasen und die verbindenden Verstrebungen aus Kunststoffmaterial geformt sind.
  8. Palette nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Palette einstückig mit den Scharniervorrichtungen aus Kunststoffmaterial geformt ist.
  9. Palette nach Anspruch 4 bis 6 und Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Scharnier aus einem länglichen Schlitz im Verbindungssteg (12) besteht, wobei der Schlitz sich benachbart zur Peripherie der mit dem Steg verbundenen Base befindet.
  10. Palette nach Anspruch 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scharniervorrichtungen so ausgebildet sind, daß eine Position auf der Palette von der Ebene einer benachbarten Position nur um einen Faktor von bis zu etwa 20 % des Durchmessers dieser Position entfernt werden kann.
