Abstract

A personal care set intended especially for travel requirements combines a plurality of items, serving, for example, for body and/or clothing care, in a flat, box-type housing. The individual items are accessible from the narrow sides of the housing, being, in particular, pushed into the housing. The housing can be held and the respectively desired item can be pushed out using one hand and, when using the items, the housing does not necessarily have to be put down. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a care set, in particular for travel needs, with an essentially cuboid housing in the manner of a flat but lid-less box, which has a plurality of chambers for the maintenance of equipment, each of which is accessible from at least one narrow side of the housing. For example, it can be provided by airlines for their passengers and enables travelers to carry out the most necessary maintenance measures without access to their own luggage.

It is known to design travel arrangements of certain care devices and the accessories required for this - for example toothbrush and toothpaste - in space-saving special shapes (EP-B-109 482).

From EP-A-0 207 441 a container of the type mentioned is known, which can hold several devices serving for care in a drawer. To remove the devices, the housing must be held with one hand while the other hand holds the drawer pulls out of the chamber, removes the desired item from the drawer and then closes the drawer again to prevent the other items from falling out. The disadvantage of this housing is the cumbersome and user-unfriendly access to the devices used for maintenance.

In contrast, the object of the present invention is to make a care set with all the items required for the usual care processes space-saving and user-friendly.

This object is achieved in a care set of the type mentioned in that the devices are suitable for direct lateral insertion into the housing and appropriate openings are provided on the narrow sides of the housing, each section of the device both parts of the housing walls and sections to grasp the devices and close the housing when inserted. The main advantage of this training is that the devices themselves can be gripped directly with one hand, and in sections that represent parts of the housing walls, while the other hand holds the housing. Thus, each of the devices can be removed from the housing with one hand and without the aid of a "third hand". After pulling out the device at the section that forms part of the housing walls, the device is immediately available for maintenance purposes without any further assembly work Certain devices can even be extended with the fingers of the hand holding the case to facilitate gripping with the other hand, and it is not necessary to put the case down when using the devices.

At least one narrow side of the housing can have devices for positive but detachable attachment of additional devices.

You can also attach a clip bracket to one of the front sides, which can be used to temporarily fix the housing on the waistband, a breast pocket and the like, so that you do not need a hand to hold it; at the same time, the flat housing is not very bulky, does not bother the user, and still allows handling of all individual parts accessible from the narrow sides.

It has proven to be advantageous to provide different care sets for certain care areas. For example, one care set can hold all equipment and accessories for personal hygiene, while another care set contains facilities for clothing care. Preferred embodiments are the subject of subclaims.

The body care set shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in a top view of the two front sides has a basic housing 1 and on its longer narrow side 2 'saddled up' additional devices in the form of two similar, but mirror-image arranged additional housing sections 3. These together have the same Length like the housing 1 and also its depth. The overall housing 1 + 3 thus also has the cuboid shape of a flat box like the basic housing 1. What these housing components have in common, as well as all alternative designs, is that their interior is essentially, if not exclusively, accessible from the narrow sides.

On the rear front 7 of the housing (FIG. 1), a clip 4 is fastened, the configuration of which as an individual part is illustrated in FIG. 6, while its attachment to the housing is shown in FIG. 26; 4 and 5, the clip bracket 4 is omitted. From Fig. 6 it can be seen that the clip clip 4 has a plate-shaped, externally rounded main part 5, the locking cams 6 can be snapped into corresponding openings in the rear front side 7. A hemispherical pressure cam 8 on the inside of part 5 is intended to improve the clamping effect of clips 4. The clip bracket 4 can also be an integral part of the housing 1.

In this case, the additional devices consist of two self-cuboidal housing sections 3, which are flush with both the rear face 7 and the front face 9. They are - in FIGS. 1 and 2 - from above and below with the help of dovetail guides (similar to FIGS. 7 and 8) on the housing 1 and pushed against each other at 10. Liquid-tight lids, which can be pivoted about film hinges at 12, can be opened by outward pressure on the projecting rib 13 of the corrugated section 14 serving for handling. The additional devices 3 are used, for example, to hold toothpaste and cosmetic liquid.

7 and 8 illustrate alternative embodiments of the additional devices according to FIGS. 1 to 3. The arrangement and articulation of the cover 11 are different, but also the outer one, here semicircular in cross-section. In addition, the dovetail-shaped groove 18 is clearly recognizable, which corresponds to a corresponding elevation on the narrow side 2 of the housing 1.

In the embodiment of FIGS. 9-12, the additional devices in the form of a housing section 3 are combined to form a component and fastened to the housing 1 by means of latching. The interior is continuous and is provided with closures 100 on both ends, which contain the covers 11 (FIG. 11). In one of the closures, a bellows tube 101 (FIG. 12c) for toothpaste is held on the neck side and detachably, the content of which can be put under pressure with the aid of a slide 102 (FIGS. 12a + b) guided in the housing section 3. A slot 104 is provided in the long side wall 103 of section 3 for the slide 102.

While FIG. 9b illustrates the function of the closures 100, FIG. 9c shows the arrangement of the bellows tube 101 and the slide 102 engaging at its free end, as well as the small bottle (vial) 105 associated with the other closure for an aftershave or the like. The bottle 105 is also detachably held on the neck side. Details of the construction are shown in FIGS. 10-12, which will be explained in the following.

FIG. 10 a shows the housing section 3 from below (namely rotated by 180 ° with respect to FIG. 9, so that the toothpaste tube 101 points to the right). At the ends of the housing section 3, the top wall 103 and the two side walls 106 end in post-like Hollow chambers 107, which leave an opening 108 between them. With a transverse wall 109 lying further inside, the posts 107 form grooves 110 into which the base plate 111 of the closure 100 can be inserted (FIG. 11a).

The lid 11 of the closure 100 is articulated on the base plate 111 with the aid of a film hinge 112; in the closed state, it overlaps the top wall 103 of the housing section 3 with a latching lug 11a (FIG. 9a).

A recess 112 in the base plate 111 of the closure 100 and a recess 113 in the transverse wall 109 of the housing section 3 interact to insert a tube 101 or a small bottle 105. You take the collar 114 on the neck of the tube 101 or bottle 105 between you and lock it between you; this arrangement is omitted in FIG. 19 for the sake of simplicity. In the closed state, the stopper 115 arranged on the inside of the lid 11 is pressed onto the opening of the spout 116 of the tube 101 (or the bottle 105).

The closure formation at the other end of the housing section 3 is in principle the same. Here - where the toothpaste tube 101 is accommodated - a transverse corrugation or toothing 117 is formed in addition to the slot 104, which interacts with parallel teeth 118 on the contact part 119 of the slide 102. This contact part 119 is locked with a web 120 passing through the slot 104 of the handle 121 accessible from the outside; 12a and b show this in a somewhat enlarged scale in side and rear view.

Back to FIGS. 1 to 5. The section according to FIG. 3 shows that the housing 1 is divided into parallel chambers 26, 27 and 28 by longitudinal walls 24, which run parallel to the longer narrow sides 2, 25. The intermediate walls 24, however, do not extend over the entire length of the housing 1, but continue at some distance from the short narrow side wall 29 of the housing 1 in transverse walls 30, so that the central chamber 27 has a T-shaped plan, whereby the transverse web of the T extends in the region of the short narrow side 29 of the housing 1 over its entire width.

The shaving device shown in FIG. 13 can be inserted into the chamber 27. It consists of a (tubular) handle section 31, a base 32, a cranked handle 33 and the blade holder 34 mounted transversely at its free end. A corrugated push handle plate 35 is attached to the handle 33, which is slotted through the slot 36 in the front front 9 of the housing 1 protrudes and rests on the front 9 from the outside (FIG. 2). The surface 33a of the handle 33 lies against the inner surface of the front side 9, and by pushing the handle plate 35 - upwards in FIG. 2 - the razor can be pushed out of the chamber 27.

In the area of the short narrow side 29, the chamber 27 is closed by the cover flap 37 shown separately in FIG. 14. The side flanges 38 form part of the wall of the longer narrow sides 2 and 25. By means of pins 39 they are in the according to FIG. 3rd pulled walls 30 pivotally mounted. On the inside of the swivel flap 37, extensions 40 are provided, which have the shape that can be seen in cross section in FIG. 14 b and serve to pull the swivel flap 37 into its closed position (FIG. 3) when the shaving apparatus is returned to the chamber 27 after use becomes.

In the chamber 26 a shaving foam (or the like.) Containing dispenser 41 can be inserted, which releases the material contained by axial pressure on his head 42. At the other end, a base 43 with a square cross section is pushed over the device 41, which is round in cross section. The outer cross-section of the base 43 corresponds to the cross-section of the chamber 26, however, handle sections 44 are placed on opposite sides of the base 43, to which opposite cutouts 45 in the front sides 7 and 9 of the housing 1 correspond; 1 and 2 show the inserted state. The oval shape of the grip sections 44, in conjunction with the outer cross section of the base 43, allows the device 41 to be plugged onto the housing 1 by 180 °.

In the area of the open end of the chamber 28, the housing 1 with the front sides 7 and 9 and the narrow side 25 is cut away in a triangular shape, as illustrated in FIG. 3. In the completed state of the set, the missing corner is supplemented by the base 46 of a toothbrush, which is shown in FIGS. 16 and 17; 17d-f illustrate the shape of the base part. In the central blind bore 47 - in the assembled state of the individual parts shown in FIGS. 16 and 17 - a tube 48 is inserted, with its lower end in FIG. 16 a, so that the slot that is not continuous to the upper end is also closed there. Before that, however, the circular base 50 of the brush part of the toothbrush, designated 51 as a whole, had been inserted into the tube 48 in such a way that the holder 52 of a handle plate 53 can slide in the slot 49. Otherwise, the brush part 51 consists of a handle 54 with the brush holder 55 and the bristles 56.

As the cross-section of FIG. 4 shows, the chamber 27 is still divided by an intermediate wall 57 running parallel to the front sides 7, 9, so that a further chamber 58 is formed, into which the nail file shown in FIG. 18 can be inserted in such a way that that the section 59 of its grip part 60 engages in the cutout 61 of the front side 7 when the nail file is inserted, but can be easily removed for use.

19 to 27 show different embodiments of a care set for clothing care. As initially illustrated in FIGS. 19 to 22 (of the first embodiment), a housing 1 is also provided here, on the longer narrow side 2 of which an additional device 3 is detachably fastened, so that a correspondingly larger overall housing results. The clip clip 4 is the same as in the personal care sets described above. In the clothing care set, the additional device 3 (for example) consists of a lint roller 70 (FIGS. 22b + c), that is to say a roller body rotatably mounted in the housing section of the additional device 3, the outer surface of which carries a sticky coating. 22b + c only partially recognizable arms 73, which essentially the (but arranged differently) 25a correspond to arms 73a, the fluff roller 70 is supported at the ends. The parting line indicated at 72 between the housing 1 and the housing section of the additional device 3, which can be released from the snap-in connection with the housing 1 with the aid of the molded handles 71, is somewhat moved into the housing section, so that after the housing section of the additional device 3 has been removed, the lint roller 70 for the most part can be exposed and unrolled on the garment to be cleaned, with the housing serving as a handle.

23, the arrangement can also be such that the lint roller 70 is rotatably held in the housing section of the additional device 3 with the aid of 73a and can be pulled off the housing 1 with the housing section; the set position is indicated in Fig. 23d with dashed lines. 23b and c illustrate that because of the above-mentioned laying of the parting line 72, the lint roller 70 pulled off with the housing section of the additional device 3 protrudes to a sufficient extent and can be moved with the aid of the handles 71 over the garment.

In the housing 1, a shoe horn 74, a flat box 75 for sewing utensils and a shoe polish, for example in the form of a soaked sponge, are arranged in an insert 76. For this purpose, in the housing 1, parallel to the front sides 7 and 9, intermediate floors 77 and 78 are formed, which correspondingly flat chambers 79 (for the shoe horn 74), 80 (for the sewing box 75) and 81 (in this example without purpose). However, the intermediate floors 77, 78 do not extend over the entire length of the housing 1, but end at a transverse wall 82 (FIG. 22a; dashed lines in FIG. 20). Beyond the transverse wall 82, the chamber 83 is designed for the insert 76; it is bordered opposite by a transverse wall 84 parallel to the transverse wall 82, which runs at a short distance parallel to the (upper) short narrow side 29 of the housing 1. The flat transverse chamber 85 thus formed is not used here and only serves to stabilize the housing 1.

The insert 76 consists of a frame-shaped rectangular bushing 86 which is thickened on opposite surfaces assigned to the front sides 7, 9 to (corrugated) handles 87, with an approximately semicircular contour, which corresponds to a cutout 88 in the front sides 7, 9 ( 22a + b, 21, 22). To the outside, the insert 76 is closed by a cover 89 which fits into the longer narrow side wall 25 (FIGS. 21a, 22b). A correspondingly shaped (and soaked) sponge can be inserted into the cavity of the insert 76, for example, which extends beyond the insert according to the length of the chamber 83 and is exposed when the insert 76 is pulled out of the housing 1.

The shoehorn 74 essentially consists of a curved plate 90, which is displaceably guided between web sections 91 (FIG. 22c) in the longitudinal direction of the housing 1; the web sections 91 are formed on the inside on the front side 9 and in the opposite direction on the intermediate floor 77. Is on the side the plate 90 is guided on the longer narrow side wall 25, in the direction of extension (arrow 92 in FIG. 23 a) near the rear end of the plate 90 with the aid of a lateral extension 93 which passes through a guide slot 94 in the narrow side 25 and in a handle 95 ends, with the help of which the plate 90 (shoehorn 74) can be pushed out of a correspondingly shaped opening in the (lower) short narrow side (FIG. 21c). Fig. 21a makes it clear that the slot 94 does not go through to the lower end of the narrow side 25, so that the projection 93 strikes when the plate 90 has been pushed out far enough.

At the same time, the box 75, which is adapted to the chamber 80 in cross-section, is guided between the intermediate floors 77, 78 and can be pushed out of the aforementioned short narrow side of the housing 1 (FIG. 21c) with the aid of the handle 96 and the connecting projection 97, and that completely because the Slot 98, which leads to the side extension 97, passes downward over the narrow side wall 25 and for this purpose emerges from the adjacent short narrow side wall (FIGS. 21a + c). The box 75 is thin-walled with a hinged lid; this is not shown in detail.

24 to 27 show another embodiment of the clothes care set. 24 and 25 correspond to FIGS. 19 and 20 of the previously described exemplary embodiment and FIG. 26 largely correspond to FIGS. 21 and 22. In addition, in this exemplary embodiment a comb 130 is provided, which to a certain extent is the chamber 81 which is empty in the other example (Fig. 22c) essentially fills out. The comb 130 has a thickened and corrugated grip section 131 which interacts with a corresponding cutout 132 in the side wall 7 of the housing 1. The comb 130 is additionally guided by transverse walls 78a and 78b between the outer wall 7 and the intermediate floor 78.

26d illustrates (in conjunction with FIGS. 24 and 25) that an auxiliary cover 133, which extends over part of the width of the housing 1, is provided for the shoe horn, the sewing box and the comb opposite the exit or removal side, which only serves to simplify the assembly of the set (inserting the shoe horn and the sewing box as well as connection to their sliding elements).

Claims (12)

1. Personal care set, especially for travel requirements, comprising a substantially cuboid-shaped case (1) in the manner of a flat box without a lid, which has a plurality of chambers receiving articles (31-34, 41, 48/51, 60; 74, 75, 86, 130) for personal care, each of which is accessible at least from one narrow side (2, 25, 29) of the case (1),
   characterised in that the articles (31-34, 41, 48/51, 60; 74, 75, 86, 130) are designed to be suitable for direct lateral insertion into the case (1) and that corresponding openings are provided on the narrow sides (2, 25, 29) of the case, while portions (43, 46, 59; 87/89, 131) of the articles (31-34, 41, 48/51, 60; 74, 75, 86, 130) and also portions of the case walls (2, 7, 9, 25, 29) form portions for holding the articles and in the inserted state close the case.
2. Personal care set according to claim 1,
   characterised in that at least one narrow side wall (2) comprises means (18) for positive but releasable fixing of additional devices which accommodate accessories like toothpaste tubes (101), phials (105) containing toilet water, fluff removers (70) etc.
3. Personal care set according to claim 2,
   characterised in that the additional devices are composed of at least one additional case portion (3) which is made separately and may be positively positioned onto and removed from the narrow side wall (2) of the remaining case (1).
4. Personal care set according to claim 3,
   characterised in that the case portion (3) is a box which is open at one side towards the case (1) and extends over the whole narrow side wall (2) of the case (1).
5. Personal care set according to claim 3 or 4,
   characterised in that the case portion (3) has at one end a closure (e.g. 100) in the form of a lid (11) or similar.
6. Personal care set according to claim 4 or 5,
   characterised in that the case portion (3) and/or the closure (100) have holders for the accessories and possibly also devices for their actuation (e.g. slide 102 for the tube 101).
7. Personal care set according to any one of claims 1 to 6 for body care, characterised in that partition walls (24), extending substantially along and parallel to the narrow side walls (2, 25), divide the case (1) into a T-shaped central chamber (27) for a shaver (31-34) and chambers (26, 28) for a toothbrush (48/51) and a shaving cream container (41) situated on both sides of the leg of the T.
8. Personal care set according to claim 7,
   characterised in that a partition (57), extending transversely to the partition walls (24) in the region of the leg of the T, delimits a chamber for nail files (60).
9. Personal care set according to claim 7 or 8,
   characterised in that the outer side of the web of the T of the central chamber (27) extends along a narrow side wall, and a swivel lid (37) closes the said outer side and has inwardly situated tongues (40) which cooperate with the head (34) of the shaver (31-34) in the sense of opening and closing when the latter is removed or inserted by a handle (35) which extends through a recess (36) in the case (1), the latter extending parallel to the leg of the T.
10. Personal care set according to claim 7,
    characterised in that the toothbrush (48/51) insertable into a chamber (28) comprises a hollow handle (48) and a brush portion (51) which is telescopically slidable at one end from the latter.

12. Personal care set according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a clip chamber (4) is provided on a front plate (7) of the case (1).
