Description

The invention relates to a counter according to the preamble of claim 1.

In order to guarantee comprehensive customer advice, bank counters must also increasingly be equipped with computers or computer terminals. If these devices are simply placed on the existing work surface of the bank counter, they take up part of the available usable space. The cabling of the devices also creates considerable difficulties both at the counter workstation and in the supply area.

From DE-A-3 603 465 a counter is known, with an operator-side work surface for sitting and standing operation and with a raised in comparison to the work surface, a storage structure open to the operator side and closed to the customer side by a boundary wall and with an in Area of the storage space arranged, adjustable intermediate floor for receiving a monitor. The height and inclination of the intermediate floor can be adjusted in relation to the work surface. The actual work surface is provided next to the footprint for the monitor. A closed cable duct is attached to the inside of a customer's vertical wall. The base cabinets are provided with a rear wall and the floor space for the screen forming plate extends at least to the vertical wall. This workplace therefore takes up a relatively large width and it is difficult to lay the cables.

A counter is known from EP-A-0 248 100 in which an intermediate floor can be raised at least in partial areas over the height of the working surface. This counter is intended for currency traders and is therefore completely open on its side facing away from the user. Means for cable routing are not provided.

In the workplace table known from EP-A-0 226 862, the monitor is arranged in a fixed position in a structure which is closed by the user. The cable ducts below the worktop and below the structure are difficult to access. Invisible laying of the cables is not possible.

In the counter known from US-A-4 712 842, a storage space for receiving screen devices is closed at the back with a flap. The display units can be set up on a fixed intermediate plate in the storage space at a fixed height and at a fixed angle of inclination. On the underside of the fixed intermediate floor there is a cable duct that is completely closed except for an insertion slot. Here too, the cable laying is uncomfortable, since the volume of the cable duct is limited and cannot be viewed freely. The position of the cable duct is also dependent on the position of the fixed intermediate platform, only display devices of a predetermined maximum height can be used and an ergonomically favorable orientation of the display device to the viewer is ruled out.

The invention has for its object to provide a counter of the type mentioned, which is more suitable for the accommodation and cabling of screen devices largely any equipment in an ergonomically favorable arrangement and orientation.

To achieve this object, the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1 are proposed.

The invention is based on the idea that an adjustable intermediate floor is arranged in the area of the storage space within the counter structure, to give the possibility to be able to set up screen devices of any type and size in an optimal arrangement and orientation, without thereby noticeably reducing the usable area available to the operator and the customer, or having to accept unfavorable working heights. On the other hand, the duct space creates a sufficiently large and easily accessible space for the cabling.

Since the loading of the storage space with the display devices and their cabling from the operator side can lead to difficulties, it is particularly advantageous in the case of counters with a lowerable intermediate floor in the storage space that the storage space and / or the channel space by opening the customer-side boundary wall from the customer side is accessible from here.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the height of the intermediate floor can be adjusted, preferably lowered below the height of the work surface, so that relatively high display devices can also be set up.

Furthermore, the inclination of the intermediate floor relative to the work surface can be adjusted, in particular lowered and / or raised to the rear, so that, depending on the type of screen on the one hand and the operator's height on the other hand, optimum readability is ensured. The adjustment can be carried out either by hand with a suitable locking mechanism or by means of a remote-controlled electric motor.

In order to be able to record a screen, the intermediate floor only has to extend over a part of the storage space width, while the rest of the storage space area has an unadjustable, preferably flush with the work surface Floor and / or a plurality of form compartments can be equipped.

Particularly in terms of design, it is advantageous if the storage space is delimited downwards by a base area that is lowered relative to the work surface, preferably inclined from the operator to the customer side, and extends over the entire width of the storage space.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the storage space is formed by a trough which extends over the entire width, limited by lateral support supports or side walls, with a lower floor than the operator-side work surface, the two bent, preferably welded or screwed, connected to the support supports or side walls Has side walls and a flange-like tub rim bent upwards by the customer and in their side wall at least in the flange-like tub rim bent upwards by the customer and in their side wall at least in the area near the floor near the customer and / or in the floor and tub rim in the area near the side wall towards the floor or wall side on the customer side and on the other hand to the customer side open edge recesses for the passage of cables are arranged. The storage space tray expediently has an operator-side wall which is bent up towards the work surface and a support frame which is arranged in the region of the upper edge of the operator-side wall and is preferably integrally formed or welded on and essentially horizontally oriented for receiving a worktop.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the storage space tub has a guide or separating rib projecting beyond its floor level and running parallel to the customer-side tub rim, which ribs expediently move the storage space into one along the guide and separating rib, the box-containing area and divides into a cable room. The tub edge is advantageously on the customer side, for example, over the customer's edge of the side supports or side cheeks in order to be able to lead the cables located in the cable space past the support supports or side cheeks to adjacent counters without bending.

For this purpose, the customer's boundary wall can be hinged to the counter about at least one horizontal or vertical axis or pivoted open.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the customer-side boundary wall can be folded upwards about a horizontal axis running at the height of the upper edge of the counter structure, and in its open position it points obliquely upwards to the operator side. In its open position it is preferably held by means of at least one holding belt which runs inside the safe structure and the boundary wall and which in the open position strikes the upper edge of the safe structure provided by the customer, without coming into contact with an outer surface of the safe structure in the open position and thereby damaging it. In its closed position, when folded down, the customer's boundary wall strikes with its inner surface the flange-like tub edge of the storage space and can be locked in this position against unwanted lifting.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lateral support supports or cheeks of the counter are connected to one another by at least one continuous cross member that supports the upper cover plate of the counter construction. The traverse can be cranked to accommodate two horizontal cover plates in different planes.

A shelf protruding from the customer's side is expediently arranged on the customer's boundary wall. In order to create space for particularly large screens, the boundary wall can be arranged offset to the customer side or expanded at an angle while increasing the storage space when closed.

According to a further particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, a separate box-like intermediate floor insert is provided which can be releasably inserted into the storage space from the customer side when the boundary wall is open and which contains both the intermediate floor and its adjustment mechanism. The intermediate floor insert is advantageously narrower than the storage space width and preferably takes up a third to half of the storage space width. The same applies to the storage space depth of the mezzanine insert. It expediently rests with its bottom on the base of the storage space or on the tub floor.

The bench counters shown in the drawing essentially consist of a table top 10 defining a service-side work surface, a counter structure 12 and two forming the lateral boundaries of the counter, supporting the table top 10 and the counter structure 12 on the floor Sidewalls 14 and support supports 14 '. The dash-dotted line 15 in Fig. 2 indicates the standardized leg space. In the counter structure 12 there is a storage space 16 which is delimited downwards by a base surface 18 which is lowered relative to the work surface 10 and in the case of FIG. 2 is inclined from the operator side to the customer side or by a trough base 18 '. The base surface 18 and the trough base 18 'open at their customer-side edge into a channel space 20, in which a cable guide rail 22 is arranged, which extends over the entire length of the channel space. The boundary wall 24, 24 'which hides the storage space 16 and the cable space 20 toward the customer side can be opened upwards. In the case of FIG. 1, a folding wall 26 that can be folded down is additionally provided. The upper folding wall or boundary wall 24, 24 ′ can be opened upward in the direction of arrow 28 about a horizontal hinge axis arranged near the upper edge of the counter construction, while the lower folding wall 26 can be folded down about a lower hinge axis in the direction of arrow 30 . As a result, both the storage space 16 and the channel space 20 are freely accessible from the customer side. A shelf 32 protruding from the customer is arranged on the rear boundary wall.

The storage space 16 is designed in terms of its shape and size such that it is suitable for receiving a preferably box-shaped intermediate floor insert 34 with an adjustable intermediate floor 36 and a screen 38 of a computer or a computer terminal set up on the intermediate floor 36. As indicated in dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2, the storage space 16 can be enlarged by displacing or obliquely opening the folding walls 24, 26.

When the customer's boundary wall 24, 26 or 24 'is open, the intermediate floor insert 34, which can be inserted into the storage space 16 from the customer side, lies with its lower surface or lower edge 40 on the base surface 18 or the floor 18' of the storage space. In the case of the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the intermediate floor insert engages with its rear part 42 from above into the lower-lying channel space 20. In order to ensure a better introduction of force into the side cheeks 14 or the side supports 14 ', the trough 18 or 18' forming the base surface can be supported on cross members 43 anchored in the side cheeks 14 and / or on the cable rail 22 (FIG. 1) or connected as a self-supporting trough to the side supports 14 ', preferably welded (Fig. 3.6). To brace the trough forming the storage space, it is provided with curved side walls 60, 62. In addition, the tub rim 64 in the area of the tub floor 18 'towards the customer is bent upward in a flange-like manner and delimits the cable space 20 there towards the outside 34 serves as a rear contact surface and the cable space 20 as an inner boundary.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the height of the intermediate floor 36 with its operator-side edge is adjustable in a first grid arrangement on the intermediate floor insert 34 consisting of two rows of holes 44 and in the vicinity of its customer-side edge in a second grid arrangement consisting of lateral tooth rows 46. Pins protruding from the operator-side intermediate floor edge engage in the first grid arrangement, while the latching into the second grid arrangement 46 takes place by means of latching cams 49 arranged on pivoting levers 48, which are automatically held in their latching position in the interdental spaces by tension springs 50 acting on the pivoting levers 48. In this way, both a height adjustment parallel to the work surface and an inclination adjustment of the intermediate floor 36 with respect to the work surface 10 are possible upwards and downwards. As a result, depending on the type and size of the screen 38 and the height of the operator, the intermediate floor 36 can be adjusted so that optimum readability is ensured.

The wiring of the VDU workstation can be done from the customer side when the folding walls 24, 26 and 24 'are open. Through the use of the cable guide rail 22 with three cable channels 52 which are also open in the area of the edge-open recesses 54 in the side cheeks 14, an easily accessible and clear cabling of all consumers to be set up on the counter is ensured.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, the tub 18 'is provided both on its bottom and on the side surfaces 60 and on the rear tub edge 64 to the customer side with open-edge recesses 68 through which the cables 73 for the purpose of easier wiring can be easily inserted with the boundary wall 24 'open. In addition, the tub edge 64 is over the outer edge 70 of the support arrangement 14 'on the customer side, so that over the outermost of the cable channels 52 ensures a continuous, loop-free cable routing to a neighboring counter is. As can be seen from Fig. 6, the free space between the supports 14 'can be filled with vertically extending cable routing channels 90, which end at their top level at the level of the horizontal cable routing channels 52 in the cable space 20 of the tub 18'. To stiffen the support frame, the support brackets 14 'are rigidly connected at their lower end to a horizontal foot bracket 92 and at their upper edge with a crossbeam 94. For stiffening across the width of the counter is mainly the bent-up operator-side tub wall 62, which is connected at its ends via the bent and cranked side walls 60 of the tub with the operator-side supports 14 ', preferably welded to them.

As can be seen from FIGS. 4a and 4b, the boundary wall 24 'can be pivoted about a horizontal axis running in the area of the customer's upper edge 72 of the counter construction 12 from its closed position shown in FIG. 4a to its open position according to FIG. 4b. In its open position, the boundary wall 24 'is inclined upwards towards the operator side and includes an angle of approximately 70 ° with the counter plate 12. In the open position, the boundary wall 24 'is held by two spaced apart on the inside of the counter structure on the one hand and the cover wall 24' on the other hand holding straps 74, which wrap around the outer edge 70, without touching the plate 12. 5 and 6 it can be seen that the lateral support supports 14 'are connected by a continuous or a cranked crossmember 80 for receiving the worktops 12', 12 'of the counter construction, which may be arranged in different planes.
