Description

The invention relates to a window or door frame, with a glass pane inserted therein, in particular insulating glass pane or with a plate inserted therein, which is supported on a vertical leg of the frame via a block, which is at a predetermined distance from the apex of the frame in the area of Crest is held angular bracket, which has a strip-shaped leg with a thickness below the block thickness and with a width optionally less than the block width.

Blocking the panes is of great importance, because with the pane blocks the glass weight is transferred directly to the load-bearing parts of the sash or the fitting and the window construction. Blocking contributes significantly to the angularity of the casement and its good operability. Usually, individual blocks are used to block the panes, which are arranged distributed over the circumference of the casement depending on the window construction. Single blocks have the disadvantage that they are difficult to position due to their large number. Always with Expect handling of the frame to be locked and consequently pay attention to whether the individual blocks slip or fall out. In addition, it can often be observed that the individual blocks are incorrectly blocked on site when installing them. In order to remedy this deficiency, it is not sufficient to precisely identify the block location. Rather, it is necessary to prepare the block in the factory. For this purpose, it is known from EP-A-0 211 781, the frame of which has the features mentioned at the outset, to use a carrier part for the disk-supporting spacers, which is angular and has a groove height as high as a groove. The carrier part extends from the apex of the frame to beyond the spacer for the spacer to be arranged at a distance from the apex of the frame and fills out the cross section of a groove for clamping. This known carrier part is therefore only to be used where the space required for the arrangement of the carrier part is available.

From NL-A-8 401 634 it is known to use a block in a window frame with a stop bar arranged on the lower horizontal leg of the fixed frame, which block is held at a distance from an end piece for the stop bar, which is used for collecting of condensed water and has a longitudinal stop for the pane. The longitudinal stop and the strip are arranged offset from one another with respect to the frame plane, so that a corresponding structural outlay is required for the end piece of the sealing strip.

In contrast, the invention has for its object to develop a frame of the type mentioned so that its block can be arranged in a structurally simple design directly in the vertical space between the frame and the disc or plate at the correct distance from the apex of the frame.

This object is achieved in that the holder is integral with the block, that its strip-shaped leg has a retaining hook, that it rests on the disc or plate, and that it is flush with a longitudinal block edge or in one by the relative position between the frame side surface and Disk or plate is arranged predetermined distance from this edge.

The one-piece design of the holder and block results in a single component which, using its holder, can be inserted captively at the appropriate point on the frame between it and the glass pane. The bracket is optionally narrower than the block, so that there is a corresponding saving in material. In addition, the holder is aligned with a block longitudinal edge or is arranged at such a distance from the block longitudinal edge that it always rests on the disc or on the plate. As a result, the block, when used with insulating glass panes, is also suitable for right-left use or for use at both upper corners of a frame. This applies to plates if they are symmetrical to the face of the frame or if a support of the plate in the frame that requires the same position of the holder is required. In particular, when the frame and pane or plate are installed upright, the hanging block can be mounted precisely at the location provided for it. This positioning is achieved with simple means. If the width of the holder is chosen to be equal to the block width, the holder also acts with regard to the positioning of the block between the frame and the pane or plate, but requires an increased outlay on materials to produce it.

A further possibility for saving material is provided if the holder is provided with a holding hook which is short compared to the distance of the block from the apex of the frame.

The holding hook of the bracket is longer than the distance between the frame end face and the adjacent pane or plate edge, which prevents the block from falling vertically hanging in the space between the frame and the pane or plate when the window is installed vertically.

The frame is advantageously designed in such a way that the strip-shaped holder is arranged with its disc-side or plate-side surface in alignment with the disc-side or plate-side support surface of the block. The aligned arrangement of the bracket with the support surface of the block ensures that, if the block fills the distance between the pane or plate and frame, that the bracket lies tightly against the pane or plate, so that the short holding hook is full-length engages in the space between the frame and the pane assigned to it. The intervention is therefore safe.

The frame can also be designed in such a way that a second or third strip-shaped holder of the same design is arranged on the end edge of the block adjacent to the apex of the block, with the distance from the first holder determined by the distance between the panes of the insulating glass. These The design is specially designed for insulating glass, in which the block should lie on each pane and hang when it is installed upright. In particular, this prevents the block from skewing with large block widths.

Fig. 1
Fig. 2
The invention is described with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1
a view of an end face of a frame corner with a block arranged in the vicinity thereof, and
Fig. 2
the section 2 -2 of Figure 1 with the side view of the innovation block of Figure 1.

The window frame 10 shown in Fig. 1, 2 has a frame corner 24 from a horizontal upper frame spar 10 'and a vertical side frame spar 10' with frame overlaps perpendicular to the plane of representation 25. In the thus designed, common frame corner and the otherwise as usual frame 10, which can therefore consist of wood or profiled plastic, the insulating glass pane 11 shown in broken lines is installed. A block 12 is located between this insulating glass pane 11 and the frame 10 or its end face. This block 12 is plate-shaped, that is to say it has a predetermined length L, a certain width B and a thickness D that can be seen in FIG. 2 corrugated in a known manner so that the edges of the disk 11 can be supported with as little tension as possible.

The apparent from the Fig. Position of the block 12 is achieved by a bracket 13 which is provided with a strip-shaped leg 13 'and a holding hook 17 arranged at right angles thereto. The leg 13 'of the angular bracket 13 is so long that the end edge 26 of the block 12 is held at the distance a required for design reasons from the apex of the frame.

Der Haltehaken 17 ist im Vergleich zum Schenkel 13′ der Halterung 13 kurz, jedoch länger, als der Abstand C zwischen der Rahmenstirnfläche 20 und der Kante 21.According to FIG. 1, the block 12 is arranged close to the frame overlap 25 of the vertical frame leg 10 und and, according to FIG. 2, fills the distance C between the pane edge 21 and the frame end face 20 practically completely. In contrast, it follows from Figure 2 that the leg 13 'and thus the entire bracket 13 is comparatively thin, is therefore provided with a thickness d which is substantially less than the thickness D of the block 12. This also applies to the retaining hook 17, which projects into the horizontal space between the pane 11 and the frame 10. The retaining hook 17 is compared to the leg 13 'of the bracket 13 short, but longer than the distance C between the frame end face 20 and the edge 21st

In diesem Falle fluchtet die Halterung 13 bzw. deren rahmenseitige Kante mit der Klotzlängskante 15.From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the width B of the block 12 is significantly larger than the width b of the bracket 13. Between the bracket 13 and the flap 25 of the vertical frame leg 10˝ the air usually provided for insulating glazing of a few millimeters is provided, for example, so that an elastic seal between this flap 25 and the disk 11 can be brought about by elastic sealing compound. The result of this is that the holder 13 is at a distance c from the frame side surface 16 of the rollover 25. If a distance between the pane 11 and the frame rollover 25 is not required, this distance c can shrink to zero. In this case, the holder 13 or its frame-side edge is aligned with the block longitudinal edge 15.

From Fig.1 it can be seen that the block 12 may have a second bracket 13˝, which is designed like the first bracket 13. The second bracket 13˝ ensures that both disks 22, 23 are used to suspend the block 12, which consequently cannot hang askew even if its edge 15 is not arranged close to the frame overlap 25. The brackets 13, 13˝ are arranged at a distance h from each other, which is determined by the distance i between the disks 22, 23. If triple or multiple glazing is used, the block 12 can be provided with three or more brackets accordingly. As a rule, it will be sufficient to use a bracket 13, but at most brackets 13, 13˝ for the two outer disks.
