Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a socket for electrical installations, in particular house installations, for connecting electrical devices, in single or multiple versions, with an installation box to be recessed into a wall. Such sockets are used in buildings for the actuation of electrical installations such as lamps, automatic shutters and the like and are generally known.
The known socket are known as single, multiple versions and in combination with switches. Usually the sockets are always visible. In specially designed sockets, the sockets are covered by an additional spring-loaded cover on the user side. The lid has to be lifted for the connection of plugs, for which you need both hands, since you have to lift with one hand and insert the plug into the socket with the other. Such sockets are therefore mainly used for installation in damp rooms or outdoors, where aesthetics only play a minor role and safety is the main focus.
The object of the present invention was to develop a socket which covers the sockets when not in use and can be operated with one hand for the connection of a plug.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the sockets provided for connection to plugs to be connected are arranged in a holder which is pivotably arranged in the installation box, in such a way that the connection sockets are optionally from one side to the user hidden operating position can be pivoted into a freely accessible operating position.
In a special embodiment of the invention, the bushings are attached to a swivel body which is pivotally mounted on the installation box by means of an axis such that they are not visible when the swivel body is completely swiveled into the installation box and one surface of the swivel body covers the front of the installation box, and are when the swivel body is swung out freely accessible for plugs to be connected. The swivel body preferably has means for locking it at least in its non-operating position.
The solution according to the invention now has the great advantage that the plug can be connected with one hand, by swiveling it out with a slight pressure on the swivel body and releasing the sockets and swiveling it back in again after use. Furthermore, covering the sockets represents a high aesthetic value, especially for living and working spaces.
- Fig.1 den Querschnitt einer erfindungsgemässen Steckdose in geschlossenem Zustand;
- Fig.2 die Voderansicht von Fig.1;
- Fig.3 den Querschnitt einer erfindungsgemässen Steckdose in offenem Zustand;
- Fig.4 die Vorderansicht von Fig.3.
- 1 shows the cross section of a socket according to the invention in the closed state;
- Figure 2 shows the front view of Figure 1;
- 3 shows the cross section of a socket according to the invention in the open state;
- 4 shows the front view of Fig.3.
The cross section through a socket according to the invention as shown in FIG. 1 shows a built-in box 1 which is embedded in a
From the user side, only the
By lightly pressing on a region of the
As shown in Fig.4, the
Schnappverschlüsse).In principle, it is conceivable to provide additional, spring-loaded detents for the
