Herkömmliche Anschlußgarnituren für Heizkörper in Verbindung mit Einstellventilen oder Thermostatventilen, bei denen die Zuführung des Heizmittels im unteren Bereich des Heizkörpers erfolgt, gewährleisten besonders bei hohen und schmalen Heizkörpern keine zufriedenstellende Funktion, da mit zunehmender Höhe des Heizkörpers die Heizleistung nach oben hin stark abnimmt. Ein direkter Anschluß des Heizkörpervorlaufes im oberen Bereich des Heizkörper ist in Verbindung mit Thermostatventilen wegen der Gefahr von Fehlmessungen nicht sinnvoll. Der Erfindung zufolge wird an der Rückseite des Heizkörpers eine Anschlußgarnitur angebracht, die sowohl im oberen als auch im unteren Bereich mit dem Heizkörper verbunden ist und außerdem einen Anschluß an die Vorlaufleitung aufweist. Zwischen den beiden etwa senkrecht übereinander liegenden Anschlüssen an den Heizkörpern ist ein zylindrischer Hohlkörper vorgesehen, in den ein zusätzliches Elektroheizelement eingesetzt werden kann. Um sicherzustellen, daß bei Betrieb an der Zentralheizung aus der Vorlaufleitung kommendes Heizmedium in den oberen Heizkörperbereich einströmt, kann die Einführung des Vorlaufanschlusses in den zylindrischen Hohlkörper der Anschlußgarnitur über dem unteren Anschluß zum Heizkörper angeordnet sein und strömungsgünstig ausgebildet werden. Der obere Anschluß der Anschlußgarnitur an den Heizkörper kann, um auch bei nicht vollständig gefülltem Heizkörper einen sicheren Betrieb zu ermöglichen, unterhalb der obersten heizmediumführenden Kanäle des Heizkörpers angebracht sein, so daß die Zirkulation zwischen Anschlußgarnitur und Heizkörper auch erhalten bleibt, wenn die obersten Kanäle nicht mit Heizmedium gefüllt sind. In Verbindung mit einem zwischen der Vorlaufleitung und dem Anschluß der erfindungsgemäßen Anschlußgarnitur an die Vorlaufleitung eingesetzten Heizkörperventil kann bei geschlossenem Heizkörperventil mittels des elektrischen Zusatzheizelementes ausschließlich das im Heizkörper befindliche Heizmedium erwärmt werden.According to the invention, a connection set is attached to the rear of the radiator, which is connected to the radiator both in the upper and in the lower region and also has a connection to the flow line. Die Anschlußgarnitur 3 ist im wesentlichen ein zylindrischer Hohlkörper, der aus einem ersten mittleren Rohr 31, einem darin eingeschraubten oberen Rohrstück 36 mit anschließendem Vierkant 37, einem in ein Anschlußstück eingeschraubten Stopfen 38, einem am unteren Ende des mittleren Rohres 31 eingeschraubten T-förmigen Abzweigstück 32 mit daran angesetztem Vierkant 37 und einer an einem Anschlußstück befestigten Muffe 33 zur Aufnahme eines Elektroheizelementes besteht. Die Vierkantrohre 37 weisen neben den Anschlußöffnungen 2, 5 zum Heizkörper weitere Durchlaßöffnungen 21, 22 auf sowie am unteren Vierkant 37 vorgesehene Durchlaßöffnungen 51, 52 für das nicht dargestellte elektrische Heizelement. Das Anschlußrohr 34 dient zur Verbindung der Anschlußgarnitur 3 mit einer Vorlaufleitung. Bei einem vor dem Anschlußrohr 34 angeschlossenen und abgesperrten Heizkörperventil strömt Heizmedium aus dem Heizkörper 1 durch die Anschlußöffnung 5 in die Anschlußgarnitur 3 ein, wird über das zusätzliche Elektroheizelement erwärmt und strömt aus der Anschlußgarnitur 3 durch die Anschlußöffnung 2 in den Heizkörper 1 zurück. Bei geöffnetem Heizkörperventil strömt aus dem Vorlauf durch das Anschlußrohr 34 Heizmedium in das Abzweigstück 32 und dann im wesentlichen aufgrund des strömungsgünstig gestalteten Querschnitts der Anschlußgarnitur 3 durch die Anschlußöffnung 2 in den Heizkörper 1.In Fig. 1, a connection set 3 with connection openings 2, 5 and a connection 34 to the flow line is shown on a radiator 1. Die Anschlußrohre 44, 45 dienen zum Anschluß an eine Vorlaufleitung.
