Abstract

In an electric cooking plate (1), the profiled ring (17), which serves for support on the cooker tray (2), is provided, by means of elastically resilient circumferential extension and a springy cross-sectional zone (29), with an external annular leg (18) which is resiliently deflectable within narrow tolerances and which forms, by means of a ring-target shaped annular edge (28), a flat support surface (26) for support on the cooker tray (2).
