Abstract

The mounting collar fits between the spot light and a socket in the vehicle coachwork accommodating the base, there being a number of fixing and adjusting devices on the light. It encloses th edge of the socket (7), to which it is secured by means of buttons snapping into engagement with holes in the socket and in the face opposite to that by which it fits into the socket it has a number of socket for ball-joint adjusting devices on the spot light itself. There can be locking buttons engaging with the socket holes on each side of each ball-joint socket. The face of the collar not fitting against the socket can also have annular strengthening ribs (15, 16).
